*** Review of Store Improvements and Internet Desk*** This store has made a lot of improvements in how it presents visually. I was last in it probably 5-6 years ago. Loyal JCP customer of 30 years. The intimates have been moved up from the basement (yay), all sales floors looked neat, clean, and organized, and all clearance items were either hung decently on racks or folded on sets of shelves. Lighting is better, too. Way to go! Cons: (1) The one dressing room for females in the store (2nd floor, Liz Claiborne) was neat in its lobby and the rooms. That's progress. However, 1 star off for a mature male being in the DRooms' hallway and then one of the DRs with a couple of females, maybe wife and daughter? It made me uncomfortable. No men should be in the rooms or hallways! Please post signs at both ends of this DR hallway: admittance is for WOMEN ONLY, have cameras, and patrol. Also, a male in late teens was sleeping on the one chair in the DR lobby. Put some more chairs in there (men can wait there), patrol, and remove anyone sleeping or clearly not doing business. It looks crummy! Good selection of classic but pretty/cute types of styles for adult women, in natural fabrics, are included and a good selection of petites (also online). One star off (I considered two) for your nasty longtimer in the Internet Dept. on Floor 4. Rude. If you come to this store be ready to bring complete paperwork on every Internet item you are returning (even an item JCP sells but is shipped by another vendor) or pull all the order deets up on your phone. My receipt in the shipping bag from the vendor was no good to her. I was treated rudely and dismissively, loudly, while I was 100% polite. I'll never go back. JCP, please train your managers and staff, JCP, on how to treat customers (of ALL demographics) well and what Corporate expects. Many staff here seem to act cold and not care. Try blind shopping. Customers have LOTS of choices of other places to shop. I'd rather drive 45 mins. to a smaller JCP (nicer staff), but I applaud that you have been making changes.

- PORTRAIT CENTER REVIEW ONLY - My friends and I had the best time getting those akward JCPENNEY pictures taken. Our photographer, Susan C was so friggin awesome, made sure we looked great and even helped us get some great photos with a 2 year old! We were late (and if you're late they will make you reschedule - which I was told during my confirmation call) but fortunately a group who was there earlier allowed us to swap spots (so it worked). When we were at a loss for poses, she guided us to truly make the experience memorable. Susan - 10 out 10. Even though we had a Groupon...I of course ended up buying the full digital package because the pics are just that great! Will absolutely be back!

I been coming too this store for years 2/19/2014 I was trying to shop with my girl and my newborn it was a lady following us Even into the elevator I don’t know if this store have a high turnover of shoplifters, but I do not need to steal out of JCPenney‘s me with 2 million subscribers This is discrimination I feel like filling a lawsuit I need something done asap thanks ?? 1 star business

Waited over 30 mins for curbside pickup just to be told they were too busy to come out. Went inside to get my order and the store was EMPTY. Employees were walking around aimlessly like they had nothing to do and the escalators were broke. The worst JC Penney ever. WANT TO GIVE ZERO STARS.

Huge store with plenty clothing for the family. A little cheaper than Macy’s and located near to the food court at the mall. Can grab a quick bite while you wait for your wife to finish her shopping. Customer service was good, no qualms about it. You can also enter from the parking lot on the lower level and also access the lower level of the mall.

Great selection of toddler clothing. They have great clearance deals and the fact that I can get Carters line clothing there is amazing. I love the attention to detail during the holiday season and my sons picked put lovely Christmas ornaments that were on display for sale.

The store is fairly well stocked and the employees appear to be doing their best; albeit overwhelmed. It is apparent that management is lacking in support of the number of staff in ratio to customers and working registers, and registers that ring sale items...

I wish I could give zero star, I been to 2 different levels and no register was working finally after 20 minutes I found one and the cashier on that register had pathetic attitude her name was Yeslin no empathy towards customer and one Mexican guy was behind her and they take 25 minutes to find out the price for stuff, I end up left the store with no Purchase ????

Arrived 5 minutes late, the employee who claimed to be a photo center manager arrived one hour and 10 minutes later after her break. She asked us to leave because we were 5 minutes late. She was so unprofessional and kept referring me to read the "late policy". I have used this place for many years before and there we're always nice photographers except this time. I am writing this so hopefully management can see how their employees and poor judgment on hiring can impact peoples beautiful day. So unreal, so heartbreaking we couldn't take professional pictures for my daughter second birthday. Btw, I tried to call while I was running late and no answer. However she didn't take time to call me like always in the past they did. Her excuse was that another family is scheduled for 5:00 but no one was there by 5:15. I believe some people might beed better training here. It is so risky to go there with the amount of time and coordination I have to do that I am going to stop after this event.

We were loyal customers to JP. My wife and my daughter (5 years old) went to JP to buy Fathers' day stuffs at the Wheaton MD location and in between my daughter ranaway into the food court and her mam tried to get her at the gate but the alarm made a sound. The security guard disrespectful hold my wife and daughter. My wife tried to explain the situation, but they mistreated my wife and 5yrs old daughter, SAD. We decided to return back the JP credit card and cancel our membership with JP!!!
