Great place to go when you're in a rush during the day but for late night workers they act like you don't exist

My friend got her credit card scam at Springbrook International Exxon Gas Station (11310/11318 Georgia Ave Wheaton MD 20902 on 1/7/2023) at 9:47 AM. At pump #2 she was asked for her pin number when she inserted her card, she tried to remove her card instead of putting in the pin number but was not allow to remove her card or pump gas until she entered her pin number...she had no choice but to entered her pin number, once the pin numbered was entered the gas started flowing and her card was released. Less than 15 minutes after entering her pin number at pumb #2 she was notified by her bank that someone had attempted to purchase $126 worth of gas using her credit card at the very same Springbrook International Exxon Gas Station @ 11310/11318 Georgia Ave Wheaton MD 20902.

Beware the Exxon on the corner of Georgia Ave and University Blvd in Wheaton! SCAM!!!!I went there today to get gas, selected my usual, regular 87 Octane, filled up, and went inside the convenience store. When I came out, my car was filled and I saw my bill was $51.17...to fill a Honda Civic coupe 3/4 of the way up. I looked at the receipt and found I had been charged for Supreme, and instead of paying $3.41 a gallon, I had paid $4.89!!!I went in and calmly explained what had happened; the clerk told me, "Oh, yes, sometimes, the machines, they aren't fixed right, and that happens." Um...what?I then asked to see the manager. I again calmly explained what happened and after telling me I must have pushed Supreme, I said, "I know you have security footage here. Why don't we go take a look at the video?" Then I was told that "I must have pulled the gas pump to fill my car down and it hit the Supreme button and I didn't notice." This is nonsense for a few reasons, namely that a light black cord does not have the heft to push in a heavy button like an octane-choice button, but I again asked to see the video. The manager took me to his office, pulled up the footage, and said, "There! See! You pulled down the gas pump cord.""Yes," I replied. "That is indeed necessary to put gas in my car. Show me where it hit the Supreme button.""Well, it's just....it's in the video.""WHERE?"As you can guess the video showed me on the left side of the pump-- where the 87 regular button is-- and never showed this magical cord selecting another button. The manager then said, "Yes, we have had this problem a lot. There used to be a sign there warning people but now it is gone."I just stared at him. "So this 'problem'-- of which there is no proof but you say keeps happening-- had a sign warning people, but now is magically gone?"So either this is an actual problem with your equipment that you continue to mislead people about and not provide warnings (unikely, because aforementioned physics) or this is total nonsense and your machines are rigged. Either way, this place is a total scam full of terrible people. It is also the most expensive gas station in the area by far. There is a Shell less than a block away and many other options in the area. I encourage you to use those and to always check that the machine is giving you the gas you selected!

Gas tank was on e and i wish i ran out of gas after what i went through. I payed for 30$ worth of gas at around 10$ the pump clicked but the numbers kept reading up while the pump wasn’t even in my car. I told the worker about the issue he told me i would just have to keep clicking it when it would stop but ignoring my issue. At around 21$ it kept happening so the worker stopped the pump i asked for a refund and was told i couldn’t get one. It wasn’t until the cops were called to get my refund!!! The worker made it seem as if the machine was just faulty but if he knew it was faulty he wouldn’t have allowed me to select that pump to use! Scam! scam!scam!

Another great gas station from ExxonMobil. Staff is friendly and prices are good considering.

It's a gas station. You pay and you get gas. It's slightly difficult to get in or out at rush hour. Slightly overpriced snacks and beverages but you're probably not here for the snacks. They sell gas. Buy your snacks elsewhere if you are budget conscious. They have a sort of bistro or "non cooked food" type of "restaurant" add on. I've never eaten there due to my personal aversion to gas station restaurants. I've never seen anyone eating there. I'm not sure it's even a real thing.I'm still giving them 5 stars because the employees are always friendly and fast with getting you in and out.
