Bad service I went to this branch to open a savings account and they told me I couldn't. Help because they were prohibited from serving in Spanish, so if I wanted I could bring someone to translate for us because even though they speak Spanish, they are prohibited from serving in that language. The truth is that they behaved very racist.

Terrible. Impossible to do anything other than withdraw money as they never have more than two people working. Also some of the employees are incredibly rude.

I'm writing on behalf of my grandma and what she experienced at this location. For reference, she is a Spanish speaker who often speaks with the bilingual employees at this location, since this is our closest Capital One Bank. She had an issue where her accounts were locked and she could not withdraw money. She decided to go in person to resolve the issue. She was able to sit down with one of their bilingual employees to get help. After my grandma had explained the entire situation and why it may have happened, the employee was absolutely rude with my grandma. She kept accusing my grandma of fraud and how they need to launch a whole investigation against her, without even fully hearing her out. Over money she worked for and earned herself!! My grandma kept trying to explain the situation, but the employee kept shutting her down with a nasty attitude. She did little to help my grandma and kept telling her that the bank will keep her all her money and she will not be able to get any of it back! She then kept telling my grandma to resolve it to customer service over the phone and basically telling her to leave. My grandma came home crying, but wanted to go back the next day. She is not one to give up when it comes to HER money. My grandma went back the next morning and tried speaking to the same bilingual employee from the day before. She refused to attend her and ignored her. My grandma then spoke with the employee at the counter, who is also a bilingual Spanish speaker. She explained the situation yet again. The lady at the counter went to go speak with the other rude employee, and just came back to tell my grandma that they will not help her and to call customer service, now with an attitude. My grandma was not happy about that and told them that she'd sit on the sofa until she can be attended because she needed the help IN PERSON. After about 5 minutes, the original rude employee finally came out her office, already with a bad attitude, and called my grandma in. They kept going back and forth because the employee kept threatening that the bank will keep her money, she won't get anything back, and they will launch an investigation. She would not hear my grandma out and kept throwing the word "fraud" in her face. She kept degrading my grandma as if she was a criminal. Mind you, this was over money that she worked for and RIGHTFULLY earned, it just paid in a larger amount than usual all at once. Which I get could cause an issue, but the employee was not being helpful at all. While they kept going back and forth, the employee at the counter AND the manager were watching them through the glass and LAUGHING at my grandma!!My grandma left once again humiliated and defeated. She called my mom to ask for help. My mom left work early to take my grandma to a different Capital One Bank in Rockville (Congressional Plaza). They went in and spoke with another bilingual Spanish speaking employee about the situation. Now this man was super nice! My grandma provided all the information he asked for and he was able to resolve her issue with her account so quick! He treated her like an actual human, not like some criminal. He also looked at what the rude employee logged/reported under my grandma's account and saw how it was completely wrong. He heard my grandma out and about her experience at the Aspen Hill location. He sincerely apologized for their behavior and was so happy to help her out. Why was it so hard for that lady to hear her out and just do everything this guy just did? Why was it so hard to just be kind? It's free!!This location was always her home location, but now she never wants to return. She now has to go to another location that is further away where they are happy to help. Mind you she does not have a car of her own. I'm a 19 year old searching for a bank of my own to open an account and get a credit card for myself, so I can leave my current bank. This one was at the top of my list, but not anymore. I would never join a bank who hires people who take advantage of non-English speak

On two separate occasions I went to deposit money and it ate my money both times. I put a certain amount in the ATM and it spit back some of it and said I deposited only a bill or 2 and the other bills went missing. I have to call customer support to get my money back.

Bankers turned beggars. It's really pathetic how sad these losers are. Wasting my time to beg me to stay at their bank instead of just closing the account. Employing pathetic tactics to waste my time. worst banking experience of my life. My time is far more valuable than any BS you can offer will be closing all accounts with Capital Beggars.

They don't have bankers to open just a simple checking account. The teller asked me if I had a phone. Then suggested me to open it using my cell phone. Really inconvenience for me I can barely see the letters In a cellphone. This bank is the worst bank in giving services to clients.
