I pay hundreds every gotdam month to Verizon for cellular service!! Have for years. I live in a "modern 1st World Nation county in a normal state of Maryland in populous area. The gotdam tower is only 1/2 mile away. In order to give them feedback on my poor service, they prefer I "call" them. Well Verizon, sure, IF I COULD GET A SIGNAL STRONG TO CALL!!! Hell, I need to walk outside by my aluminum garage door to send a single picture in a text message. I cannot send a simple word text to more than ONE recipient at a time. I had to use 911 a week ago, and out of NINE attempts, none went thru!! FiLED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FCC. Technically, Carroll Co is quite rural and agricultural, but it's not in bum-fit-egypt!! Several years ago, Verizon "started" installing trenched Internet (FIOS) infrastructure in the county until a bean counter felt the investment was too high to make a "profit" and project was abandoned. So then, what does my hundred $$$ every month go toward? Certainly not our ability to use our phones, call 911 unless I drive to the nearest convenience store parking lot, or send my friend a dam picture of my wife's dam cat!!! Always telling my angry self that as soon as a "provider" enters the market around here, I'm gone, with my family's devices and shares with my neighbors.

I walked in and every assistant was looking down at their phone. One asked, in a tired voice, if they could help me. No other customers were in the store, so probably not a tired voice but a bored voice? The service was very lackluster and didn't give me confidence that the assistant knew what they were doing nor that they could less if I was getting a quality product. Occasionally the other associates would grumble an opinion on one my questions. I felt like I was a bother. Btw, the constant looking down at their phone never stopped. I will not go back to this store.

We attempted multiple time to return our brother - in - laws from after he passed away from cancer. We called customer service and were told to return the phone to the Eldersburg location. They informed us they were not a full service store and could not take the phone because it was purchased online. This was after our second trip to this store, directed by customer service. After many hours on the phone we were told to take the phone to the Westminster location because they were "full service." We were told they could not return the phone in a store, but had to mail the phone in. The service for all three phones were turned off because we had not returned the phone to the store as directed by customer service by 6/5/2022, and charged our account $600. Needless to say, we were very upset and let them know they were unprofessional, inefficient, and caused additional undo stress during a time of loss. As we left the store they were pointing at my wife and I laughing. Verizon is the worse company and is why I left them years ago, and now my wife's account will be canceled also.

Today I got a new phone and we went to one of your stores to activate it. And when we got there they said that we need to go to a Verizon corporate store and said that it's a Verizon phone but they keep getting errors, so we went to the corporate store and they said that it's not a Verizon phone at all and we need to stay on hold on a phone and then wait 48 hours just to not have an 100% chance on it being transformed into a Verizon phone. And before we went to the store we were on a call with them for an hour and they said that we need to go to a store. This shouldn't be this complicated. One star.

I went into THIS particular store (A REAL VERIZON STORE) trying to resolve a very frustrating issue with my phone...... "Locked" out of my lock screen- With 1 (1) more attempt- OR It would factory SHUTDOWN/ WIPE OUT MY PHONE!!! I Explained the situation THAT (A) I WANT TO BE SURE OR KNOW whether or not I can/will "GET BACK" everything on my phone BEFORE I Do THIS!!! HE tells me that "Unfortunately" We can't are "unable to do that" And basically I had No choice!! BEFORE I EVEN SAT DOWN IN FRONT OF HIM (after handing to him and trusting him with my phone) HE BEGAN THE FACTORY WIPE OUT!!!!!! HEY....DO I HAVE OPTIONS?? CAN YOU LOOK AT MY PHONE SETTINGS 1st??!! THAT's OBVIOUSLY the REASON that I'm HERE!!! Because I'm NOT confident enough/ And want to be SURE I do anything and everything NOT to lose my photos etc......Sooooooooooo, HE didn't make SURE my Google was backed up to my phone! This could be seen as MY FAULT TOO-I GET IT! BUT I went to the store for technical support and total understanding!!! RIGHT Afterwards, I went to the Verizon shop 2 miles Away, and they explained that my google account should have been backed up, and should have been made sure to be before....BOOM!- wiping out My phone!!!! Some may say "You should have done that yourself" WELL- I could have wiped my phone out myself! Sure! BUT, I went to a Verizon store for help and hopefully NOT LOSE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS OF MY YOUNG CHILDREN THAT I WILL NEVER GET BACK!!! I know this could have easily been avoided because I've since spent A LOT of time on the phone with Verizon, chats with Google, and finally Samsung, all in which informed me that if my "Google hadn't been backed up on my NEW phone (btw- all of which couldn't believe it wasn't done/checked in the store when I brought the phone in with much concern) ALL MY PHOTOS ARE GONE!!!! Thank you Verizon for your incredible employee that was trying to prove himself to another employee........ ONLY TO DO WHAT I COULD HAVE DONE MYSELF and NOT HELP ME AT ALL......JUST create a situation that I was naturally trying to avoid, BY DOING EXACTLY WHAT I COULD HAVE (once again) "DONE MYSELF!!' I was trying to AVOID THIS by going into and TRUSTING a Verizon store! Later to learn through multiple sources THAT THIS ALL ACTUALLY COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to this store to get a new phone on the morning of 9/23/19. There were two employees in the store. The male sales person was very rude, pushy, and condescending. He was obviously trying to drive his commission up with phone accessories and got down right mean when I refused to buy a phone case. I have been a Verizon customer for over 15 years and I will never shop at this location again. Zero star rating.

Worst customer service I have ever received at any retail store of any kind!!! Manager is rude and disrespectful. When I asked for the regional managers name, so that I could file a formal complaint, he refused to answer and told me to call the "800" number. Sales persons misrepresent information and omit key pieces of information which would allow the customer to make well informed choices. I will never spend another dollar at this store and after 25 yrs of being a Verizon customer, I will be switching to another carrier that actually deserves my business and money.

I was hesitant to stop in after seeing the negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was very quick. I was greeted and logged in as soon as I walked in, and only waited 2 minutes to speak to a rep. He was professional, very friendly and knew his product lines.

I'm only giving it three stars because it would be 0 stars if it hadn't been for the wonderful help of Ty, Ryan, and Britney. I had a very negative experience in dealing with 'W'I purchased a new iPhone and because my old iPhone wasn't backed up he said I had to go home and do it on iTunes and then hook up my new phone. I had a difficult time doing this on my own so I called Verizon wireless. They tried to help but informed me that 'W' should have helped me because the store has WiFi. I went back to the store, was greeted by Ty, told him the story and said that I will not work with 'W' He helped me with ease, as did Ryan and Britney. If it wasn't for them then I would drive to another store in the future.

To the condescending salesman, you should probably not work in a customer service based job. Stopped by to ask a few questions about possibly switching my cell phone services to Verizon. Unfortunately, the short interaction I had with this store has changed my mind.

I thought this Verizon was different from the mall but it's still the same BS! Instead I went to the Verizon in BJ's and had a wonderful experience! I didn't even need a membership to upgrade my phone with them. It was the best! They even transferred all my stuff from my old phone to my new. Very helpful staff! Highly recommend everybody to go to them!

Went in to try to discuss plan options since Sprint was running a cut your bill in half plan (after we added the phones we were saving $20/month...not a large amount so we would have stayed with Verizon if it wasn't for the worst salesperson in the world named Martin. Martin was a young black gentleman that never introduced himself never showed us any options or products or plans. Seemed like he had a billion better things to do than his job at Verizon. When asked if we could save any money he would simply just say no then just sit their awkwardly, when in fact I was online and already knew I could save $10 by removing a tablet or $15/month if I renewed my contract. Martin knew none of these things and was the worst salesperson I have ever seen. I make a living in sales and I don't see how Verizon would hire this clown. He was dreadful and this store in his reflection is terrible......corporate did call me and made up for Martins terrible service though so kudos to Verizon for that.

Clearly customer satisfaction is not a focus at this store. Walked in to a half empty store on a Sunday afternoon, waited for 30 mins. before someone bothered to look up then asked what I needed. Then ran me through a BS sign in set up, only to have the rep tell me to "go tell you of those guys your ready 20 mins later" The service just went down from there. I was told I should buy a case, when I said no thanks the rep. basically said I was dumb for not getting one and I'd regret it. I am a very easy going customer and work in sales, I don't expect the world from people but a little bit of professionalism and courtesy for peoples time is a must. The thing that makes me laugh is the sales rep. never offered me a warranty or replacement plan that I most likely would have got.

If you ever want a lesson in self control to not punch someone in the face, go here. I go at 9am where they have ONE person working and after waiting 20 min am told I cannot get a phone as I am not authorized. This was my second time here. After the first time I got myself authorized to make a purchase .... and they 'couldn't find it in The computer'. After spending over an hour to get someone to email I finally got a phone. I will say jess was very nice and helpful but their policies are effing ridiculous.

If you are going here, make sure you reserve a VERY LONG time out of your day. When you walk in, they make you sign in. Then, you get to wait, wait, wait, and then wait some more. They do not have the staffing to efficiently serve the volume of customers that are usually there. Last night, I signed in and waited over 50 minutes before anyone helped me. Then, I was told that I simply just needed to download an update to fix my issue with phone. I waited 50 minutes to have a 30 second conversation. This is unacceptable. Especially when the staff member who was in charge of signing people in simply did just that---stood around and signed people in. That staff member could have and SHOULD have been assisting customers. I usually do not write negative reviews, but this has been my experience almost every single time I go to this place. I won't be back.
