We found the people in the Martinsburg Office to be thoughtful, helpful, efficient and friendly. When I called this morning, the gentleman I spoke to was helpful and courteous. I asked about the delivery schedule and he offered an opening of today, tomorrow and the next day (whichever suited our schedule best). Today it was! Leslie who took our payment details and address noted that our delivery address was different than our billing address and called back to confirm the correct delivery address. The delivery driver, Matt, went above and beyond driving the truck. He gave assistance when needed, he was patient with my husband and son, he made the completion of the job pleasant and the whole experience from beginning to end enjoyable and successful. I highly recommend this company and the people who work there!! Juliet Haislip

Back in the early 90's I had a job interview. Prior, I was delivering to their silo with bulk cement from Blue Circle in Port of Baltimore so I was known to the Workforce there. Anyway this was before the CDL time in the old Class A licensing. It was raining and I went to their Office downtown to interview for work as a driver. As it turns out I was told that I was overqualified. (Class A etc.) I had to do some thinking and realized that if you are in a Yard Office surrounded by about 15 or so Mack Tractors and Lowboy Class A trailers on two sides out of the windows in addition to Class B mixers etc you are not wanted there as a employee. The Boss was nice about it but was careful not to say that deafness (Hearing aids and legal to drive 18 wheelers in those days) was a problem rather than the yankee speak about over qualification in a yard full of parked 18 wheelers and other equipment. It was a different time in those days. Ultimately I emigrated to Arkansas where other Concrete employers had me working without question. Maryland was always a difficult place to get hired on in anything other than fast food.
