Horrible customer service. Stood around for 20 minutes to have some wood cut. No one came even after asking twice. So left my full cart there and walked out. They lost a lot of money.

It was help yourself at the composite decking board display. It's behind the abundance of returns and dust.

It takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch. My wife and I went shopping for a new kitchen dishwasher. The large appliance sales person was strident, humorless, and dismissive. I asked for details about their technical requirements for installation. He was arrogant and condescending toward my simple questions about the plumbing setup in my older home that can potentially be problematic. I simply wanted clarification as to what their installer would consider up to code. Then he simply walked off. We then went over to Lowes around the corner and priced dishwashers. Their salesman patiently answered my questions about installation. Bottom line: Lowes got the $1,000 dishwasher sale by virtue of their courteous sales person. I'll think twice about going back to the Westminster Home Depot to shop for anything other than nuts and bolts.

This is the second time we bought a dishwasher from Home Depot. We just moved into this house no clue on the old dishwasher. So they had a buy everything the installer would need if it was plug in or hard wire. First time they busted a valve and refused to install today the took a flash light under it and refused to install. This time they left the dishwasher in the middle of my kitchen. They wanted me to sign papers without even seeing the dishwasher. I refused until they opened the box Don't use Home Depot to install anything. They are incompetent Never will I use them again

We are regular customers at the Home Depot is Westminster MD, and we have found the customer service her to be very good in general. However, when we tried to get an estimate for installing a backsplash in our kitchen, we had a very difficult time getting anyone to help us. Phone calls to the store were routed all over the place, and nobody seemed to have any suggestions of who we were supposed to talk with. Even at store level, we were told we had to get a whole kitchen remodel, if we wanted a backsplash installed. There was one bright spot in our experience. Nanette was amazing. We just happened to see her working at her desk and explained our issue. She immediately took ownership of the situation and got us scheduled for an estimate. She was the only one of a half dozen other employees that took an interest in us. Nanette, thank you for going above and beyond to help us out. Your co-workers should be looking up to you as an example or what customer service should look like!

We needed a new lawn mower. Home Depot had one that we liked and it was a little less than $100 cheaper than a comparable model at LOWES right next door. We ordered it online, (BIGGEST MISTAKE) they showed that they had 7 in stock so we assumed that we would not have to wait to long before we got it. WRONG! 23 days later and we still do not have it. I don't know where it is coming from, but even if it were coming from California and was being transported by a little old lady who never went over 50 mph, we should have had it by now! I have tried contacting Home Depot's 1 800 430 3376 number and sat on hold for over an hour each of the 3 times that I called. This is not just a local Home Depot Westminster MD problem. I will NEVER use homedepot.com ever again. I most likely will not shop at Home Depot again either since LOWES is right next door. They had no problem taking my money right away but fail to deliver in a timely manner.

The employees were more than happy to leave us high and dry in the parking lot with a slab of plywood that was about an inch too wide to fit in our vehicle. It would've taken all of 5 minutes to cut it in half but at 5:58 pm it was too close to closing to accommodate customers. Thanks for taking care of the ol' Home Depot or Lowe's dilemma, guys!

Great location. Very helpful staff. Well organized. The self checkout systems are new and updated to a very modern system. This store is dog friendly as long as they are behaving and controlled. I shop at this location because of that. The staff always welcome my dog and that is so cool.

Decent store, well done and friendly staff, but they have competition less than .3 miles away and they had more of what we were looking for! Sorry!

Poor form. Sign out in front of the Westminster location starting a bidding war with 2 local Mom & Pop establishments. Another big store, like Lowes is understandable. But 2 local little guys? Shame on you.

Pretty standard home depot, they have the sef checkout lanes. Why has lowes not adopted the self check out lane?

Good and bad. Staff is mostly helpful; a nice lady was able to help me find the u-bend I needed. One man there had an axe to grind against gmos and chemicals and pushed way too hard on organics... as with their ilk he didn't know what he was talking about but I still found his scare-tactics and holier-than-thou attitude annoying. Their lumber selection mostly sucks as most of their boards and rails were warped, knotted, and poor quality overall. I did find a nice lamp that I actually liked. I will NEVER buy plants here. Half of them have crappy 'peat pots' which are supposed decompose in the ground but never do. A lot of their plants look half dead like they never water them or they look spotty and diseased. I wanted to try grow a tomato this year and I saw one called Tumbling Tom in a hanging basket I would have loved to have had, but literally every one of them was dried up and dead from lack of watering. The same for all the tomatoes in pots. I went to Bowman's in the end and not only were their plants healthier, cared for, and larger, they were 1/4th the price and didn't have those nasty wasteful peat pots.

I purchased paint from the paint department a few months ago. The man that helped me was Jon. When I actually got around to using the paint, I realized that it was not the color I was hoping for and it looked a little too light. I called the store yesterday and was told to come in and they would try to adjust the color for me. Again, Jon was there, and he helped me again. He was able to make the paint the exact color I wanted and even helped me entertainment my 2-year- old while we waited. I have never met an employee at any store that was more helpful and as friendly as him. He made my day and I couldn't thank him enough. We need more people like him in the service industry. I hope he knows how valuable he is. I will never shop for paint at any other store or location other then the Westminster Home Depot. And the only person I will trust to help me with my paint is Jon. Thank you again.

I find this store very helpful. I am good with tools and am knowable of around the house stuff. The plumbing dept. reps are helpful. I tackled a project with the help of this Home Depot without calling Len. Great advise spot ON! If you don't look for help most reps are stocking stuff. Don't be a doink and walk out. Ask for advise and you will get spot on advise. Don't be a dumb azz and walk out then trash them!

By far the nicest staff at any Home Depot I've been to. They are always friendly, helpful and they smile. The parking lot is big and i never get into fights with shady Russians who park like idiots like the Home Depot in Aspen Hill ( that place is a pit)
