After having several issues with this bank after their merger with ACNB, I will never use this bank again! I opened up an account for 2 of my children 10 - 15 years ago, and they decided all on the same day to apply several service fees to their accounts and then closed their accounts, keeping their money!!! There were no notices given that they were going to start charging fees or that they were going to close their accounts. I will never use this bank again. Absolute garbage!!!

In the current competitive nature of banking institutions, and the various levels of different loan offers, my wife and I decided on contacting our local bank for our first HELOC loan. Westminster NWSB Loan Officers Alisa Stesch and Tim Utz were two of the most professional and knowledgable bankers we have ever dealt with. Even during our current health crisis, both Alisa and Tim were extremely accommodating and addressed all our questions and concerns in a timely and thorough fashion. They offered us the best rates major banks could not come close too and the process was surprisingly effortless on our end. From the initial step, to the distribution of the funds, both Alisa and Tim kept us informed via phone calls, e-mails, and during in person meetings. If you are looking into a HELOC or any other product, my wife and I highly recommend considering NWSB for your banking needs.

Always super helpful and responsive. I had tried to make a deposit into the ATM and it ate my checks and they were right on it. We spoke the next morning... they took care of it quickly and efficiently. The staff is always so friendly and kind.

I worked with a lender who was also associated with ACNB and when we started out he was super responsive. But then when our process started taking longer than a few months, he stopped responding and was very unhelpful. Selling and buying a property can take time and I just feel like he didn’t understand that at all.

This bank is fine but I am still waiting for my bank card. It has been a while since the beginning of November.

Our experience with NWSB since it was assimilated by ACNB Bank has been nothing short of a disaster for us. This is an especially bitter pill for us to swallow since we received assurance after assurance from top NWSB management that NWSB would always remain independent and a customer-oriented, community bank. That went the way of the dodo bird! Since ACNB took over, the bill pay system has become so complicated that we senior citizens find it impossible to work with. It's much simpler and easier to write checks and lick stamps. God help you if you run into a problem and have to call ACNB's "Customer Service. The first time I did this, I was subjected to an arrogant little twit who couldn't understand why an 81 year old had difficulty with one of the complicated new systems instituted by ACNB. After that experience, I should have known better, but I had occasion to again contact "Customer Service". This experience was a real eye-opener. When the dust settled, not only did I receive no help, but also received two $40.00 Late Fees and a duplicative bill payment that was originally stopped, but later approved in some mysterious way. Talk about customer service! To add insult to injury, I also received written messages which were essentially snotty in tone, as well as totally unhelpful. When we find a bank that truly treats its customers right, NWSB and its new master, ACNB Bank, will no longer have our money to play with!

I have been a long time new windsor bank customer for nearly 30 years. The merger of this bank with ACNB has been a total complete failure and utter disaster. No part of this merger has benefited the long standing loyal relationships that customers have grown to know at NWSB.No matter what part of the banking relationship that a customer has, it is less of an experience if not it down right failure under ACNB leadership. So much of the New Windsor staff has either left or been let go that it is merely a shell of its once former self. User abilities with the online system combined with no availability to connect with local bank representatives any longer unless you walk in ,Has removed any connection with this once fine institution that embodied NWSB.Even worse, is the lack of federal oversight, to allow a merger like this to go through when there was no forethought about ACNB and their ability to be able to handle this type of acquisition with a completely opposite management style than what new Windsor customers are used to. Find another bank. It will only get worse before it ever gets better. And that will be when they are sold to someone else just so we don't have to painfully look up at the sign and think that they are remotely serious about ever keeping this the same bank as it used to be.
