Took Mark a relatively small machining job. Needed two drum brake wheel hubs turned and chamfered on the OD of the wheel mounting flange, and the wheel studs upgraded to 1/2" studs that I supplied. Also had two disc rotors I needed turned and surfaced. Parts where for there for roughly a week when I got a call asking if the rotors were supposed to fit on the hubs. This is where I got a bad feeling in my gut. Yes, the rotors should fit the hubs. They did perfectly before i dropped them off. Mark informed me they didn't fit, and the holes in the rotors would need enlarged. I agreed to a minimum amount of material being removed, but didn't understand why this was needed. Went to the shop the following morning to pick up my parts, and the feeling in my gut worsened. Looking at the hubs it was obvious to the naked eye the new wheel studs were not installed correctly, not even close to perpendicular to the wheel mounting surface as required. I had taken a wheel bolt pattern gauge with me, and it wouldn't even start over the reduced diameter on the end of the studs. Pointing this out it was suggested I torque the studs(they're knurled press fit) to straighten them out. Getting the parts back to my shop and checking the studs with a gauge block on wheel mounting surface confirmed they are all leaning. These hubs were now unusable for me, and I called to see if Mark would correct his work. All I got was excuses and that his job was correct although he acknowledged the studs were crooked when I first went to pick up my parts. No offer to help, no money coming back my way. He couldn't have cared less. I took in perfectly good, usable parts, and got back junk. Really sloppy work. Now I'm out $375 for work that I regret ever sending their way. Be assured that's the last money they'll get from me. Oh, forgot to mention, one of the hubs was machined .025" under the OD dimension I requested, potentially weakening this critical suspension part. Did I mention sloppy?

I was overcharged here. Promised a $500 qoute by an employee and charged nearly $800 at checkout... that’s not how you run a buisness.

So I made a call more than once to verify information in regards to prices and I was told more than once that the cost was going to be A and it ends up being B. The amount of money I was told was very excessive to the originally said price... I do not recommend this place at all... they are way to expensive and very unreasonable priced... Wont be coming back here ever again...

Mark did the rebuild on my 360 408 stroker motor. Made 430 hp on the dyno using pump gas. Using the motor in my drag car and it's working out great. Mark took the time to answer my questions, explained things, and even gave me a tour of his shop talking about every machine and how it was used in the various processes. Quality work, great service - I'm a repeat customer.

charges for work that is not done, workmanship is no were near what is needed to be a qualified machine shop, prices to high, has to many cronies in the shop, your money would be better spent at another shop that has a good reputation, even if it means spending more money so its done right. this shop is not qualified to fix lawn mowers
