I always wanted the best of the best for this platform, IAG of course was the way to go ,
After very bad experience with not only refresh block x2 but with costumer service I’m moving on to local Subaru vendors ,
After “James” left from service I don’t think this place has much going for at least for the people loyal to the brand
I have yet to hear back from them after a 2 months for a refresh confirmation and quote on a long block “blue print” and first owner
I call back and they told the person I first spoke to will reach out , nothing yet …
So much for someone’s investing 12K + on a Longblock , guess they are not on the business of refreshing their own product

We had the best experience at IAG! We were looking for an affordable 1st car for our daughter and Phil and his guy were the best to work with. I would definitely recommend them to anyone look for a reliable car! He definitely went above and beyond for us in our time of need! Thank you guys so much again from the May’s!!!

Quality Product(if you get everything), Very Poor Customer Service and Quality Control
When I decided to build a new engine for my Subaru the first place I went was IAG. I ordered an Oil pump, Oil line, and ARP studs. First order was no problem. Then I decided to spent another chunk of change and made another order for a bunch of Valvetrain components. I placed the order, and didn’t receive any notification it had shipped for like 4 days. Finally I had to email IAG to learn that only one of the items I had ordered was on Backorder 1-month out. While it’s frustrating, it’s not their fault, but it would have been nice if I was contacted about it so a decision could be made sooner. Eventually this was resolved.
I decided that was a one-off issue, and placed another order for a Timing belt kit w/adjustable idlers, as well as a coolant reservoir. The coolant reservoir shipped out next day…but 2-3 days later the timing belt kit had yet to ship. Again, I had to reach out to them to figure out the issue. Was told that they would be shipping that day, or the day after because they were busy due to a sale. Well 1-week later I had to email again to figure out what the deal was.
Eventually I got my parts. Box was a mess on arrival, but no damage or anything. Go to install it and I did not receive the longer bolts for the upgraded idler pulleys. Their website pictures show bolts included…but I received no bolts. So at this point do I reach out to them, once again, or just go to the hardware store. I need the engine back in the car, and their delays have already cost me too much time…
I know I’m not the “biggest fish” and many other people spend way more money than I did, but cmon guys. You can do better than this. I gave you three chances here and you only managed to give me one normal experience. At this point I’d recommend people just go to their local Subaru parts department…

Simply James is the man!
I recently had my engine rebuilt by a local shop on my 05 Sti and i had some questions regarding my motor. I decided to call IAG and had the pleasure to speak with James. He answered all of my questions about the motor, along with so many other things I had questions about. I have called him multiple times recently and he’s taught me a lot about my car. James is extremely knowledgeable, honest, kind & very patient. I’m very fortunate for all the information he’s shared with me!

James is simply the best. I am learning to work on my car by myself and through YouTube and wouldn't be where I am without James. He has answered my million questions whenever I call without batting an eye. His knowledge and kindness in unmatched. If you need anything james is ur guy.
