I recently did one on one training and took the wear and carry class. Every one at Geared Up are incredibly knowledgeable about carrying and training, as they should be. They go over and beyond to get information if they don't already know the answer. I highly recommend one on one training if your really questioning any parts of your target practice. I wear and carry continues in Maryland and more people can take the time to train with this great team!

I attended a Geared Up "Wear and Carry" class and enjoyed Cody's presentation and other information. I found the overall tone light enough to be enjoyable but appropriately serious for this consequential subject
(Classmates were pretty fun, too)! I feel this sixteen hour time investment was very worthwhile! Helen and Donna made the administrative parts of the W&C application process painless and were patient while being helpful. Thank you, Geared Up!

Took the 2 day Wear & Carry for Maryland and Utah, was informative and pleasurable. Staff was extremely helpful with everything, from paperwork through fingerprinting and photo’s. Highly recommend!!

This place is fantastic! Originally enrolled in an HQL class, I was pleasantly surprised when offered an upgrade to a wear and carry class. Though it meant a higher upfront cost, it saved me money in the long run by avoiding multiple application fees and fingerprint submissions. Helen’s assistance in maximizing savings was appreciated. The class led by instructor Nick was excellent. Overall, I highly recommend Geared Up Firearm Training Courses and Accessories – now my top choice.

Went today to the store today to check it out and possibly make a purchase. Google says it was open. When I got there a sign was on the door stating they were closed for renovations until further notice. If your closed update the website and facebook as it doesn't say your closed.

Outstanding Owner and supporting Staff & Trainers.I highly recommend the Geared Up Firearms Training for either the required MD HQL license to own a handgun or to take the Wear & Carry Class to get the license now before the Liberal Governor in MD tries to take the Right to bear Arms away from Marylanders, against the Constitution.They do everything necessary to accommodate and help you to get through the process as quickly as possible and are just a phone call or text away from getting the answers I need.There prices on all products are 2nd to None and I know of Shooters who have traveled out of Frederick County to Westminster to take their Classes and can find or purchase all there Shooting needs there on-sight.They had Handgun’s available for purchase or to rent for your target shooting portion of both classes and I bought a used and new pistol for the price I was planning to pay for 1 new pistol. They then keep your handgun(s) safe until you can legally own them and help you all the way through the process of ownership.They are an outstanding option as an FFL transfer site, whenever purchasing guns online and is my Only Go to Store.Thanks for the excellent Education and Firearm Support!
