I will never go here again my cat almost died because they recommended the wrong dosage after extensive tests and shots. I felt all that wasn't necessary but I let them do it because I thought I could trust them. I was wrong I had to take my cat to an emergency vet late one night because he crashed from to much insulin being prescribed. The emergency vet told me that was to much to give him based on his weight and tests she did. They were only open till 2AM that night so I had to take my cat to another 24hour emergency vet to continue the IV the cat needed to keep him alive through the night. He was stable by the next morning. That was 6 months ago today they tried to force me to give him more unnecessary shots when I refused to consent they refused to treat him I picked him up and I will find another vet who I can trust with my cats life not this one. I will NEVER go back to them and I hate being strong armed into giving my animals unnecessary vaccines and or shots especially when they are already having issues such as diabetes.

I brought my standard poodle, Rooster, in for a reoccurring skin infection. The staff was so kind and Rooster loved all the attention and care they gave him during the examination. Their prices are very reasonable and lower than our previous vet, and they didn't uncharge or try and sell you on things. Definitely coming back soon for his recheck and prescriptions.

Our dog went for routine vaccinations. Bloodwork was done and an issue was detected. The staff and I worked on a care plan, and they explained, clearly, our next steps. They patiently answered my questions to ensure my dog receives the treatment he needs. I highly recommend Carroll County Veterinary Clinic. Their staff is awesome and I know they are giving excellent care to my dog.

Always have a GREAT experience everytime I take my kitty to see the vet. They are gentle, courteous and explain things as they go along with her exam.

Started off great but went downhill after we became clients. Staff has become rude in the past few months. Every time I come there’s something new wrong with my cat that needs expensive tests that don’t give any answers when actually they just missed the glaringly obvious issue with my cat the first time he was there. He has retained testicles and is not neutered, now $1000 in unnecessary tests later a different vet was able to tell me that based on an exam, CCVC had noted the diagnostic criteria for retained testicles and never mentioned that might be a possibility and that it would explain all of his issues. Also last time I brought him for urinary issues they ran a urinalysis and said it was completely normal, I specifically asked about blood in his urine because he’s had that before and they said there was none but the actual urinalysis they sent to the new vet(which I saw shown at the new vet to confirm) showed that he had the highest amount of blood the test will show. I believe they just didn’t want to deal with him on a Saturday and told us it was just stress when it isn’t.

I’m not one to leave reviews, especially bad ones. Have probably only left a review 3 times in my entire life. I have been traveling over an hour to bring my cat here since I moved away from Westminster last year. No big problems for a while except for at the end of every visit is like a sales pitch. They are trying to get me to buy certain food/treats/shampoo. Last time, I was told it was available only by prescription and then went on Amazon and bought it for a quarter of the price.
I took my cat in for dental surgery. Didn’t hear anything so I called at around 12:50 PM. I was told my cats surgery was started and she was doing fine. When I got the call from the vet Two hours later, She told me that my cats jaw was fractured. I spend several hours every morning with my cat right in my face rubbing under her chin And around her face. She was NOT dropped off with a fractured jaw!! You can definitely see and feel the fracture! One day later it is now swollen 3times it’s size! My cat was supposed to have one possible tooth pulled that I was promised would only be extracted if they absolutely had to. When I went to pick her up, she got 9 teeth extracted. And this was after they said they saw a jaw fracture on her X-ray. I was not asked/told any of this even when i took it upon myself to call after she had been there 5 hours. I am 100% positive that I did not drop my cat off with a jaw fracture that morning. I believe this was done when they were pulling her teeth. If not, it was done sometime in the 7 hours she was there!! She was brought out to me after I paid a huge bill and nothing was explained to me. Not how to administer her meds, not how many teeth were pulled and no instructions on how to feed her or look for signs of infection. I asked to speak to the vet and sat and waited until she came out. Dr. Lynn acted like she could not get out of the room fast enough.
I DO NOT recommend this place, I have always kind of felt like they’re trying to milk money out of me. My cat has an appointment at a new vet. I will be getting to the bottom of this fractured jaw. Even if I can’t prove it by the X-ray, this fracture happened there. We know our pets, don’t we? I have an old cat and live in a small apartment. She has steps leading up to the bed and couch. Not much opportunity to break a jaw!!! I am livid that they hurt my baby and I had to pay almost $1,000 for it. BEWARE
**** I saw the response and what you told me was that she had a jaw fracture to her lower mandible correct? And that is exactly what I put in my post: That you told me she had a jaw fracture after we waited to speak to you. You told me that you could feel it, and I also reached down and felt it and told you that that was not there this morning ! Also, never did I say it was done on purpose by you or any of the workers there. However, it was done at some point yesterday while she was in your vets care, that I am 100% sure of.

I wish I could leave less than one star. I'm not one for leaving reviews, especially bad ones. I brought my cat in for dental surgery. During her consultation the week before I was told that she possibly needed one tooth pulled, but they would not pull it unless absolutely necessary. Had to drop her off at 8 AM, called to check on her at 12:50 PM. Was told she was in surgery and doing fine. got a callback from the Vet around 2:45 PM letting me know that she had a fractured jaw. when I got there, I paid and they handed me my cat in the carrier and we insisted to speak to the vet. It turns out they say they saw the jaw fracture in the pre-surgery x-ray. If so, why wasn't I told about it? Even if they didn't notify me, I took it upon myself to call to check on her. Especially before they pulled 9 teeth out of her mouth? we waited and finally got to talk to the vet. She told me that my cat must have done this injury at home. I felt under her jaw and it is a very noticeable injury(her favorite place for rubs is under her chin, so I definitely would have noticed or felt it) It is now swollen at least three times It's original size. I had to ask the vet about when to give her her medication, how and when to feed her and any infection signs to look for because they did not tell me any of that. I will pay anything for the cost of care for my pet, but I am completely heartbroken at the pain she is going through now. Accidents happen, but it would have been nice if they would have admitted that this was done while my baby was in their care!! there is no way this injury had already happened before I brought her in that morning. In any case, they have gotten quite a bit of money from me and I have found a new vet!

I have been bringing my pets to this vet since I was a kid. As an adult, with two cats of my own, I would say they are a wonderful clinic. They are inexpensive in comparison to other vets I've price compared them to in the area. The staff are all knowledgeable, and clearly love animals. Everytime I've brought my cats in for a checkup I have been in and out, they take me back right away. My older cat had dental surgery this year, and it was my first time having to do something like that. I was nervous, about his care, the process, and the COST. They gave me an accurate estimate, and answered my gazillion questions with patience and kindness. They explained everything very well, and I felt like I understood what exactly was being done for my cat and why. It was a very good experience, especially considering how nervous I was. He has healed perfectly, and I am very grateful for that. Last time I was there my younger cat was getting a check-up, and I had a lot of questions about behavioral concerns and what I could do to change that. The vet probably talked with me for a good ten minutes about all my concerns, and gave me very good advice on how to help my girl succeed (her advice is helping too). The vet was wonderful, as was the tech. Every experience I've had here has been very good, and I'm quick to recommend them to people looking for a veterinarian office.

Very nice experience. Clean and neat facility, plenty of upfront parking and staff are very helpful and exhibit great customer service. Both veterinarians that I have seen are both wonderful! Will continue to go back. Oh! They were reasonably priced and didn't cost me a fortune just for a well visit. I would highly recommend them.

i’ve been bringing my dogs here for a couple years now and honestly would never go anywhere else. from the love and compassion i received when i had to let my sweet nizmo go, to the care my current boys, bucky and hammy receive, there’s no other vets office that compares. when nizmo was hospitalized before she passed, the staff would text me pictures and updates because they know how much i loved her and how hard it was for me to leave her there for observation. the staff is always patient and kind and walks you through everything. i know i can always count on them and they give a thorough but affordable diagnosis and they are always honest. i cannot recommend this place enough and thanks to the staff and doctors for all your hard work. it definitely does not go unnoticed!
