1996 graduate of the HVAC class. (Actually, better described as the Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, Sheet metal fabrication, welding/soldering/brazing, and whatever else was needed to get the job completed ??). My favorite two years of school.

If this was how the education system was made to be, we wouldn't have failing schools besides the obvious underfunding.
In short, this place is wonderful and this is more practical than regular school.

This school has many excellent options for students. Key highlights:
-The administration is supportive of both students and teachers.
-The school’s student resource center is a valuable resource for students.
-In addition to learning a trade, students build a portfolio and attend practice interviews.

I attended CCCTC back in 96'-97'. I attribute much of my success in life to the school and most importantly to the teachers. Special thanks to Mr. Eastham. I found that this school was far more engaging and kept my attention better than the typical high school courses that I found boring and uninteresting. Of course, I was educated on the subject matter, but most imporantly, I was given the discipline and the know how to build a career and to navigate and survive the real world of work. Since my attendance, I have not been unemployed a single day, despite living through two seperate market crashes and still managed to realize steady increases in my salary. Today, I have an Associates in Electrical Engineering, a Bachelors in Computer Science, a Masters in Systems Engineering and near zero student loan debt. I'm very happy with this public school and what it provided me. I highly recommend those interesting in the sciences and engineering to pursue an education here.
