I had my Dodge viper differential rebuilt by Mike. It’s perfect and dead silent. I looked for shops that would do this and was turned down over and over, because I had my own parts. I understand the reason, but some parts are hard to come by and and took me over a year to accumulate. In the end it’s a super dana 44 and was set up perfectly. Thanks for the top notch job. Will refer my viper club members if they need diff work. Major kudos.

We have been taking our jeeps to Mike for almost 20 years. We have had basic maintenance, suspension, gears, lifters, etc, etc completed. Mike is the best of the best - always honest and incredibly fair with price. We drive about 40 min to get to his shop and will continue to do so. Thanks Appalachian Off-road!

Dropped my Jeep JKU off at Appalachian Offroad and had 4.88 gears, Detroit Truetracs, and sleeves/gussets installed. Communication was phenomenal and all questions/concerns were answered promptly. The attention to detail and workmanship speaks for itself. I can honestly say this is one of the only shops I'd feel comfortable having work on my vehicles. Almost 5 years later and no issues with my re-gear. Highly recommended!

I have been bring my vehicles here for years. Mike is very honest and does great work. I had my Jeep towed in when it cut out on me while driving. I thought it was a fuel problem. Since I work at an auto parts store, I had a new fuel pump and other parts in the back of my Jeep thinking he would just install it. Well, Mike was so honest and trustworthy, he found a fuse that had fallen onto the passenger floorboard of my Jeep which was the cause of everything. He could have installed the fuel pump and I would have still had the same problem. That kind of honesty is few and far between in the automotive industry. I drive almost an hour to get my vehicles to Mike. And I will continue to do so.

Was reccomended this place by my tuner. Mike was very professional, courteous, and timely with his work. His price for the work he put on my truck I thought was very fair and a bargain compared to most shops and dealers. Highly recommend Mike's shop! I will definitely be back when I get more parts!For reference, I got my UCAs, Fox suspension level kit, replacement driver side CV axel bushing, and new rear tail lights put it.
