Very friendly and experienced staff. I love the subscription refill reminders and that they will contact the doctor's office directly if the subscription is the subscription is out of refills.

Was treated very kindly by the cashier and the pharmacist after an upsetting Dr. appt, it was so appreciated. I signed up for text alerts because they are super busy. It works great! I would recommend Walmart Pharmacy on Acton Lane and appreciate the special care & concern from the staff. Keep up the great work!

This has to be the worst pharmacy/pharmacist in the Walmart network. The customer service my wife received from the individual pictured...(see attached ) was totally unacceptable. Per my wife, who is recently recovering from a peptic ulcer, had to pay full price for her Protonics prescription because of an issue with this pharmacist and her prescription insurance administration, she was in dire need of said medication so we had no choice. After she reached out directly to her Primary Care Provider and the prescribing physician along with the medical insurance administrator and recieved clarity / confirmation that a refund was due to her because her insurance administrator assured her of same and she also informed my wife that she would speak directly to the on duty pharmacist at the Walmart pharmacy located on Acton Lane in Waldorf, MD, informing them as well. Shortly thereafter, my wife calls the Walmart Pharmacy and speaks with the pharmacist, Frankline Oben, who was rude, condescending, and belligerent towards her. Shortly after their conversation, my wife called out for me to come upstairs. Upon arrival, my wife shared with me the jest of her conversation with the individual listed above. I then called the Walmart pharmacy in question and asked to speak with the rude individual myself. Once on the line, I spoke to him the same way he spoke to my wife. Strongly informing him that I would be there shortly. As he tried to speak, I said to him, " I am speaking, and that I don't need to hear you speak, that all I required from you when I was finished speaking was for him to answer yes or no, nothing more." Well, of course, this rude individual hung up the phone like a spoiled brat that couldn't have his way. Shortly thereafter, I arrived at the Walmart pharmacy mentioned previously, and at my wife's request, I spoke with the manager on duty, explaining to him the situation with his pharmacist and asked for his assistance in this matter. He obliged without reservation. While standing at the pharmacy register, I am waiting to have my visa check card credited with my refund due in full. The tough guy asked for the manager to stand by until the transaction was completed. So, me being me, I said to this individual, "I take it that during our previous conversation, there was a malfunction with the phone on your end." He just sheepishly looked up at me and said yes. I then said, " Yeah, imagine that, but we'll just go with that, for now." Afterward, I informed this individual that prior to the end of his shift, expect a call from the pharmacist on duty at CVS requesting, on behalf of my wife, that all of her open prescriptions with this pharmacy be forwarded via fax to their pharmacy. This will end the need for my wife or I to have any interaction with Walmart's pharmacy network or patronize any Walmart store for that matter going forward. With that being said, I shook the hand of the manager on duty for his assistance and made my departure.Again, this is the worst customer service that my wife or I have ever experienced in my 58 years of living! If you have an option, DO NOT FILL YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!Semper Fidelis!Eric G Bates, Sr

Never had a real problem with this Pharmacy. The staff are pretty good but I really admire Evelyn on the way she does her job. I received my flu shot the other day and then she mentioned about another shot that I should have received as a diabetic. In which she did both shot's but I never knew about the other shot that I was supposed to have because I was never notified about that being a diabetic. I'm so grateful for her informing me about that and please keep her because she really knows her job (the other pharmacist's too) but she really goes the extra mile!!!!!

Putrid experience. Always back and forth when I have a refill called in. The doctor says they sent it. The staff says they don't have it. It's like they're saying die already. I'm done with them. Switched to Safeway no more issues. Doctors don't want to work with Wal-Mart either. Shame on you for being so poor in your service.

I love Walmart's Pharmacy. They are very helpful and attentive. I've actually changed my prescriptions from CVS to Walmart. CVS was going to charge me over $100 under my insurance for the exact same prescription that Walmart charges $24 with or without insurance. I initially changed my other prescription to Walmart when they were the only pharmacy in the area who had not received a tainted supply. CVS called to tell me my prescription was ready, but when I got there that is when I learned their batch was tainted. I had taken my last pill the day before, and I thought it highly irresponsible their handling of the matter.

There’s always interesting characters around. If you can choose which one to go to, the La Plata location is less frequented by the sketchy or creepy types (or they’re less obvious).

Extremely dissatisfied with Walmart pharmacy in Waldorf. I have been buying my dogs insulin there for over two years. Yesterday I failed to pay attention of what the tech grabbed. When I got home I realized she had given me the wrong insulin. I went back today to exchange and they will not accept a return or give me a credit- because it's a refrigerated medication. It was an associate mistake because she also did not perform a double check as the pharmacist said she should have. Their names are also not printed on the receipt so it doesn't show who did it. I will no longer be purchasing my insulin at Walmart! 😡
