Worse customer service ever. On Feb 5th, I went through the drive through to pick up my wife's medicine. I pulled in at 6:37 pm and didn't leave until 7:32 pm IN THE DRIVE THRU. They said it was due to low staff EVEN THOUGH it was 5 PEOPLE in the pharmacy at ONE TIME. They didn't even have all the meds AFTER they called us and said they were ready at 3:30. Never doing business with them again. Not even for a soda!

I give them a one star only because this is the lowest option they allow. I went to the Walgreens on high street in Waldorf Maryland Nov. 3, 2023 and brought a gift card and the cashier told me my card didn't go through when it did go through. He tried twice and both times stated the card didn't go through, so I showed him he received 2 authorizations on my card. I advised him to cancel those transactions and I'd pay in cash. He then asked me to go to the next register and I paid in cash. I asked him was he going to void the card transactions and he said he didn't know how and got the manager who told me to dispute this with my bank. I call the corporate office and they said someone would contact me within 24 hours. A week went past and no one from corporate contacted me so I sent them another email and no response. I spoke to my niece who went to this same Walgreens in July and she purchased a gift card at 8pm. When she went to use the card the next day her purchase was declined. When she called the number on the card to check the balance there was a charge on the card the same night she brought the gift at 10pm.I am more than convinced that there is internal fraud going on with Walgreens and they are not addressing these issues at this location and maybe other locations. Why are there so many issues with the gift cards and why is the staff not properly trained on how to handle an error they made. Why have a manager on duty who doesn't know how to void a transaction when the employee made the error. I'm just curious as to why corporate has not contacted me to even acknowledge my issue. I spoke to a family member who stated Walgreens wanted me to dispute this with my bank because the charge is under the card floor limit and the bank would take the loss and Walgreens took in revenue to make it look like they had a good year in profit when majority of their profit is due to employee error that they refused to address or refund. Not sure what government agency needs to get involved but we are researching this to get them involved.Stay away from Walgreens or you'll be fighting to get your money back.

I will never use this walgreens again. Got the wrong prescription and wanted to talk with someone about it. Was on hold for over an hour and got hung up on twice. I do not recommend this place at all. They don't even deserve one star but wouldn't let me post without at least one.

Today I went to the store to do some shopping, if I could give 0 on this review I would, I was overcharged for a product I told the cashier Denice and she sorted it out, but then I saw the website and bought products where they give you rewards back, I went back to the store and lady Denice was rude, she tends to be arrogant if you use coupons, I don't know what her problem is, but if you are a coupon person, I recommend you don't visit that store, that lady makes you feel humiliated do

The exterior of this store is in need of ATTENTION! The weeds are 3 feet tall! It is an eyesore, can't imagine what the interior looks like.

I wake up at midnight to go to work. I felt sick and had been exposed to others who had COVID, so I left early and went to test. It wasn't COVID, but clearly I have something b/c my joints, muscles and body hurt, aside from other symptoms. The doctor put in a prescription for antibiotics to be on the safe side b/c of low grade fever, and prednisone b/c I'm wheezing. Instead of sleeping like I should have, I stayed up thinking I'd get a text for my meds. When hours went by and no one texted me from Walgreens, I call, get the automated system twice that no prescription was there. The prescription was put in around 9 AM. It's now 11 something, I decide to drive there after the doctor said she had put it in and even tried a second time. It's at least a half hour drive from my house with the traffic at that hour, having woken up, worked, and feeling sick and in pain and fatigued, I still decide to go because it's 1130ish. I get there, and ask the employee if they had a prescription in for me b/c I wasn't notified and it allegedly was put in a few hours ago. She has an attitude from the beginning, how they won't notify me IF IT'S NOT ready. I explain that I thought the doctor mistakenly put it in the wrong pharmacy and that is why i was checking, but she said she put it in twice. She says she sees that she put it in twice, and that she has the antibiotic, and I ask if also the Prednisone. She says, "No, and that's why we didn't call you". I am still patient b/c I see that they're busy but her attitude was horrendous from the get-go. She says it'll be ready in an hour and a half (around 1 or 130PM) I said, "OK" even though I felt like I was dying. She then says, "In fact, it won't be ready til 230 PM because we go to lunch". I politely begged her, "Is there any way you can do a little better because I live far away and I can't wait that long in the heat in the car". Her response was an outright and monosyllabic "NO", like she's mad at me because I am asking normal questions while I AM SICK. I was never rude. Because I won't sit in the sun for three hours while I'm sick like a dog, I started heading home. As soon as I get home, i get a damn call that the prescriptions are ready. Are you KIDDING me? By the time I go back, they're out on lunch so then I'll be really mad. It's Friday. There's crazy traffic. It's not close. I'm sick. I have to wake up at midnight tomorrow again to go to work. I SHOULD be resting, not driving around like a maniac because Walgreen's feels like screwing me around. Why didn't she tell me to wait. I could have saved time, feeling like crap and driving around, and GAS, which I spent 1/4 of a tank going back and forth twice. Meanwhile, I get that you're busy. I also get that you have to eat. I eat too. I do not, however, tell my customers that they can go around town while I eat. Someone replaces me. The world doesn't shut down because I need to eat, and furthermore, I always inform who is going to help them when I am sent on lunch at a specific time. I walk 8 miles a day at my job. I can't even walk to my car at the moment from the pain I feel in my joints and muscles, and I'm driving like I'm going on vacation. I need to be in bed! 1. Why does it take Walgreen's to put in a prescription for Prednisone and a common antibiotic almost SIX HOURS, lunch included? 2. Why does the entire staff go to lunch and the place close down. This is a PHARMACY, not a bar. It's where SICK people go to get better. There should be staff during the day, let alone on a Friday. Long story short [even though I just explained everything and made it long] I've been up since midnight, sick, and driving in 100 degree heat, wasting gas and time and have not had a chance to rest and recuperate to wake up again at midnight tomorrow to go to work, and all this having dealt with an employee or pharmacist (don't know

Used to be a good pharmacy. Now the staff is condescending and completely uncaring. They do not care if you run out of medication between refills. I even told them that I have seizures if I miss doses. They absolutely refuse to refill on the 30th day - so that you don't have to wait all day the next day for medication. Even though pharmacies have a 3 day cursory window before the 30th day to refill. Has always been done in the past. But ever since my spouse was prescribed an antiviral for COVID, they stopped being tolerable. They fought tooth and nail not to fill it until we got insurance and the Johns Hopkins doctor to push. Sometimes this store refuses to fill even basic meds. I called to refill something due the next day. One tech put me on hold to, "...read the notes in my file..." Her words. After she came back on the phone, she said that the refill of anti-seizure meds would take 3 - 5 days...that would be 3 - 5 days WITHOUT meds. Blackmail, blackballing, petty ignorance, whatever you want to call it - that is the name of the game at this store.

No accountability and no compassion! I went there to get medication and a Covid test for my daughter who is home sick. After dealing with the unnecessary attitude, they told me it would take 15 minutes for the prescription. After waiting 35 minutes I finally went up to ask if the prescription was ready. She looks at me like she has no idea only for someone to tell her that the prescription has been ready and lo and behold it is sitting on the floor. So ridiculous! I didn’t even get the text telling me that the prescription was ready. Why bother asking if you want that service if you’re not going to provide it?

I’ve really TRIED to work with them but there photo center is the WORST! They don’t cut the photos like they’re supposed to they cut stuff off and it’s oh well and it’s NEVER ready when it’s supposed to be && it’s ANNOYING because this is the closest location to my home so I have to be INCONVENIENCED and go to another location because they don’t want to do their jobs and I’m really over it ?IM DEFINITELY going to be looking into other companies for my prints because if this is the customer service I have to deal with for ‘convince’ ?It’s not worth it .
