I wish I could give it zero stars. I went into this Walgreens to grab a couple of things. Stood at the cash register for about five - six minutes. Then noticed the young guy at the photo booth. I called down to ask if the register was closed and he looked at me like I was stupid, and said yes. I asked him if the register was closed and he saw me standing there why not tell me the register was closed given that there was no sign posted to let customers know that the register was closed. He just looked at me. I was on the phone with a friend at the time and was telling and complaining to him about what was going on. After ringing me up the young guy just threw my receipt on the counter and walked away. I called him back and said please either hand me my receipt or put it in the bag. He handed it to me and turned to walk away, and said sarcastically you have a great night. I told him to do the same and to work on his customer service skills. I agree with an earlier post about the service in this store, they need to hire AND train these young people on soft skills.

this place is ghetto, they have kids working there that have poor customer service and are not trained to run the store then when you ask to speak to a manager tje manager is worst with a nasty attitude, what happened to being professional and having good customer service ans that the customer is always right.i rate zero stars really but that option was not available.

Worst pharmacy imaginable! Just stood 45 mins in line and the line never moved once! They must be dipping into their own supply for the f*** it attitude the emanate towards customers. Corporate needs to get people in to fix this or just s*** the shitty store down! I only gave a one star cause i cant give anything lower.

I entered the store on Dec 2nd at 9:53 pm. An employee name "Kimberly" rudely stated "we close in 7 mins", to which I responded "not a problem, I'm here to pick up". I stood by the photo center as instructed in the email received, but no one was there to assist me. Kimberly continued having a personal conversation at a register near the entrance with a gentleman; although it was now 10:00(closing time). I saw my items labeled with my name on the floor beside the photo booth, so I reached down to grabbed them, sat them on the counter and waited to be properly checked out. Kimberly hurried over yelling "Christine a customer is behind the counter. Did you even pay for those items". Christine G.(shift mgr) came over, still no greeting and said " next time wait for assistance" to which I replied "Thats's fine, but I wouldn't have had to get the items on my own if your cashier would've assisted me. Truly disappointed in the lack of customer service from both employees and management. Never a greeting nor thank you during my 11 mins inside of the store!

The awful human relations skills exhibited by the pharmacist on duty Tuesday evening are grounds for dismissal by the company, in my opinion. My finacee' called in to find out why her prescriptions weren't being transferred to another pharmacy. After holding for 10 minutes, the pharmacist answered and said that the other pharmacy had not called. We explained that they couldn't get through, to which the pharmacist replied in a snotty tone, "Well, you got through." We tried to explain that they couldn't wait on hold as we had, when we were told that they would just have to hold. As my fiancee' tried further to find another way for us to get this transfer done, the pharmacist just sighed and hung up on us. Truly disgusting behavior by an employee who is supposed to be helping people

By far the most incompetent, lazy group of individuals that i have encountered in Southern Maryland. All pharmacy workers at this location should be fired.

This is the most lazy, unprofessional, excuse making, jacked up pharmacy I have ever used to fill my prescriptions. I most definitely will be transferring to another pharmacy and I hope they shut this one down! I called in my prescriptions last night...repeat...last night! Get to the drive thru this evening to pick them up...they ain't been filled! Excuse...the system is down. It's been down all day??? Yeah ok sure. I was told to come back at 8:30pm and then 7:30pm to pick up one of my prescriptions. Of course as usual the prescription that I really needed they are out. I will return before 8:30pm though. I read the review about the customer coming at 8:45pm to pick up prescriptions and they wouldn't fill it! I guess they take their coffee break 15 minutes before the pharmacy closes! Bottom line is I would NOT recommend this pharmacy to fulfill your prescriptions!! I've been in their drive thru on another occasion where the young lady had a serious attitude! And it ain't no better going inside! Don't like your job then QUIT!! But don't give your customers the side eye when we need to pick up our prescriptions!!! I've also witnessed a highly upset woman inside this pharmacy because they gave her the wrong medicine!! Check your bottles people!! Walgreens at Shasho Place...it's a hard pass for me from this point forward and if you've experienced any of this foolishness I suggest you take your prescriptions elsewhere too!!!

The situation I witnessed just now truly was distasteful and set the tone for if I would return here or not. i was doing a quick run for a couple items then overheard this customer nicely asking this employee for help and the employee stated "i'm with Pharmacy i can't help you" and when the customer responded "excuse me?" the employee proceeded to walk away. all of this happening right in front of two other customers (mother & daughter). the employee proceeded to checkout and was ordering her co-worker, with an attitude, to put employee stickers on her checkout items & stating "i told you i didn't want my drinks bagged." the cashier (her name is Ghazal) was very polite and handled it with excellent professionalism. i wanted to ask for her name but i didn't want to cause havoc for the other amazing employees in there. I would not go to this location but if need be, i WILL NOT go to their pharmacy due to her lack of professionalism. Description as follows: Caucasian, F, late 20s/early 30s, 5'5/5'6, big build, glasses, brunette hair, brown eyes. (Had her hair in a high bun today.)

The pharmacy closes at 9pm, so when I arrive at the pharmacy at 8:45 after just having just been released from the hospital post surgery to get my pain medicine script filled. The pharmacist on duty told me she would NOT the prescription tonight because they were only open for 15 more minutes. So I say we'll y'all close at 9 NOT 8:45 so it seems to me that you have 15 more minutes to do your job!! They did say the Clinton was open until midnight and to try them. We asked if they could call and confirm they had it in stock. She told me no, but they would give me the number so I could call. It's a narcotic and only physicians or pharmacists can obtain that information. I had pulled ALL my families prescriptions and business from Walgreens 2 years ago because they messed up a prescription that was desperately needed to be taken a seriously number if days after the previous dose. THE ONLY reason I went there is because 1. My CVS was closed 2. The Walgreens Smallwood Village didn't have the medicine in stock but did tell us they called the one on Shasho Pl and they had it. I will NEVER not even when I desperate spend another cent at any Walgreens EVER! I encourage you to do the same!!

My daughter's doctor called in her prescription. I received a text that it was ready after first receiving one that there was an insurance issue. I went to pick it up and was told not only was it NOT ready but I had to pay for it BEFORE they would fill it. This is unacceptable. When I asked why I was told because they don't want to fill it and then you never come back to get it. This is a medication to treat chronic liver disease. Who drops off a prescription for something like that and doesn't come back to get it? Additionally, I have patronized Walgreens in another state for at least 15 years and have filled this medication for about 10 or 11 years and this has NEVER happened to me before. Is this store policy?
