I will never use this walgreens again. Got the wrong prescription and wanted to talk with someone about it. Was on hold for over an hour and got hung up on twice. I do not recommend this place at all. They don't even deserve one star but wouldn't let me post without at least one.

I wake up at midnight to go to work. I felt sick and had been exposed to others who had COVID, so I left early and went to test. It wasn't COVID, but clearly I have something b/c my joints, muscles and body hurt, aside from other symptoms. The doctor put in a prescription for antibiotics to be on the safe side b/c of low grade fever, and prednisone b/c I'm wheezing. Instead of sleeping like I should have, I stayed up thinking I'd get a text for my meds. When hours went by and no one texted me from Walgreens, I call, get the automated system twice that no prescription was there. The prescription was put in around 9 AM. It's now 11 something, I decide to drive there after the doctor said she had put it in and even tried a second time. It's at least a half hour drive from my house with the traffic at that hour, having woken up, worked, and feeling sick and in pain and fatigued, I still decide to go because it's 1130ish.I get there, and ask the employee if they had a prescription in for me b/c I wasn't notified and it allegedly was put in a few hours ago. She has an attitude from the beginning, how they won't notify me IF IT'S NOT ready. I explain that I thought the doctor mistakenly put it in the wrong pharmacy and that is why i was checking, but she said she put it in twice. She says she sees that she put it in twice, and that she has the antibiotic, and I ask if also the Prednisone. She says, "No, and that's why we didn't call you". I am still patient b/c I see that they're busy but her attitude was horrendous from the get-go. She says it'll be ready in an hour and a half (around 1 or 130PM) I said, "OK" even though I felt like I was dying. She then says, "In fact, it won't be ready til 230 PM because we go to lunch". I politely begged her, "Is there any way you can do a little better because I live far away and I can't wait that long in the heat in the car". Her response was an outright and monosyllabic "NO", like she's mad at me because I am asking normal questions while I AM SICK. I was never rude.Because I won't sit in the sun for three hours while I'm sick like a dog, I started heading home. As soon as I get home, i get a damn call that the prescriptions are ready. Are you KIDDING me? By the time I go back, they're out on lunch so then I'll be really mad. It's Friday. There's crazy traffic. It's not close. I'm sick. I have to wake up at midnight tomorrow again to go to work. I SHOULD be resting, not driving around like a maniac because Walgreen's feels like screwing me around. Why didn't she tell me to wait. I could have saved time, feeling like crap and driving around, and GAS, which I spent 1/4 of a tank going back and forth twice.Meanwhile, I get that you're busy. I also get that you have to eat. I eat too. I do not, however, tell my customers that they can go around town while I eat. Someone replaces me. The world doesn't shut down because I need to eat, and furthermore, I always inform who is going to help them when I am sent on lunch at a specific time.I walk 8 miles a day at my job. I can't even walk to my car at the moment from the pain I feel in my joints and muscles, and I'm driving like I'm going on vacation. I need to be in bed!1. Why does it take Walgreen's to put in a prescription for Prednisone and a common antibiotic almost SIX HOURS, lunch included?2. Why does the entire staff go to lunch and the place close down. This is a PHARMACY, not a bar. It's where SICK people go to get better. There should be staff during the day, let alone on a Friday.Long story short [even though I just explained everything and made it long] I've been up since midnight, sick, and driving in 100 degree heat, wasting gas and time and have not had a chance to rest and recuperate to wake up again at midnight tomorrow to go to work, and all this having dealt with an employee or pharmacist (don't know what she

Hit and miss service. Drive thru very slow and long waits.. allow 15 minutes per every car ahead of you in line. In store waited 20 minutes due to allowing COVID-19 vaccine customer to stand at counter to fill out paper work. This review applies to High st, Waldorf only, Walgreens remains our go-to pharmacy.

If I had a choice to not choose a star I wouldn't. The employees in the pharmacy are absolutely horrible and so are the managers which is why they treat people like trash. I had an appt for my son to get the Vaccine and I called to see if I could come early and they told me it was ok to come early. Got there long before his appt time and there was only one other person waiting. They called that person and every other person that came in after me before they called me. I asked what kind of order do they have and they told me that the person giving the vaccine didn't know the order. I told them that was something that she needed to know because we were here before the other people that she called. I asked for the manager and she comes back and asked who called her. I explained to her what was going on and she could care less and walked away as of I interrupted her. The person giving the vaccine then intentionally skipped over him again and called someone else. Now I'm mad, she refused to give my son the vaccine so she had someone else do it. When hey finally call him, I asked the lady if she could verify what vaccine she was giving him, she asked me what did I sign up for and told me that she wasn't telling me because I was rude and she hope I have a nice day... Really, I wasn't rude, at this point I was pissed because not only did I get there 45 mins before time, I was still there after my appointment time.

I had problems with this pharmacy many years ago and I see that some things never change. It's the most convenient location to my home so I thought I would give them another chance. Bad decision. I had a prescription sent there and uploaded a picture of my insurance card to their website to get ahead of everything. I didn't hear a peep from them so I called this location and was given a runaround by their automated system saying there was a delay due to insurance issues. I finally got through to a real person and they said my insurance was expired. They had an older insurance on file that I no longer had. No problem, I told them I uploaded my new insurance card to their website and they were able to pull it down. They then told me that they're not contracted with this policy. I use BCBS which is a fairly widespread/common policy. They said they don't accept my particular plan. I went online through my insurance provider to find a policy that was in plan, and lo and behold my insurance company listed this pharmacy! Anyway... I think I'm done once and for all with this location.

I have never felt so humiliated and disappointed on what transpired in trying to refill 4 prescriptions for my husband which never was done while waiting almost 3 hours. Every 30 minutes the cashier kept telling me it hadn't been done yet. I became angry and ask for the prescriptions and left.

If I could possibly give them a rating less than 1 Star I absolutely would! They pharmacy lacks accountability for their mistakes, they lack the ability to expediently take corrective action once their mistake is brought to their attention. They lack the managerial expertise to properly handle and escalate issues within their pharmacy. Management is ineffective if not nonexistent. I will absolutely pull off my store and pharmacy business from not only this location but Walgreens in its entirety.
