I can't say thank you enough to Dr. Fox!!! I took my beloved cat in for emergency care and he showed such true empathy while being straightforward with me about the prognosis and his recommendations. It really made me trust his guidance. Although it was devastating that my cat had to be referred out and ultimately died of her condition, I felt so thankful to Dr. Fox and the WECare team for making me feel that they really cared and went the extra mile. If my other cat is ever in need of care, I won't hesitate to go to WECare again.

I would say 5 stars for the care our dog received. Unfortunately, our dog contracted kennel cough while in their care.

Sophie, Dr. Fox and the whole team were so helpful. If you were to go anywhere for your fur babies go HERE, don’t hesitate. They were wonderful with our little chocolate lab puppy. ❤️❤️

Dear owner,
Thank you for reading and responding to my previous review. With all due respect, you need to look into your accounting practices. I did not knowingly or willingly make a $5,000.00 "deposit". I was told, after an initial, and rather through, examination of my cat that the charges for the treatment could be up to $5,000.00 and did I wish to proceed with the rather expensive and needed treatment. This was late in the afternoon. Unfortunately, my cat died shortly afterwards, in spite of your best efforts - I have no complaints about the treatment or the cost of the treatment actually performed. I do have a complaint about being billed for treatments not performed, with the casual thought that you will issue a refund - the next billing cycle or later - and cost me quite a bit in interest. I contested the $5000.00 charge with the credit card company, but you still issued the refund. At present I owe you quite a bit, which I have been TRYING to pay, yet your accounting department insists I owe nothing. Kindly look into this, and I suggest you change your accounting practices to bill only for services provided, rather than a "deposit" totalling the cost all of the estimated services before they are performed.

Emergency room care for your pet. Only 24hr vet available in the area. They do what they're supposed to, charge premium prices.

This place is Amazing! My cat kept throwing up, and during my search for a place to take him, I received a recommendation from 2 different veterinarians to go to this location in case of an emergency. Dr. Slajchert and the staff working this evening were so kind, patient, and helpful. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I'm so thankful for the variety of payment options, too. We chose the All Pet Credit Card, which helped us, tremendously, in being able to afford his visit tonight. They even offer a 5% military discount on the medical exam, and some of their medications, which is a blessing, too. I highly recommend this location! ?

Possibly the saddest and most expensive night of my life! The staff is clearly numb to the emotions of pet parents and we waited hours on hours on hours before AND after my baby was seen...just for them to tell me to pay $350 MORE to euthanize her. I felt like for the 8.5 hours that we spent there we should've at least got to sit with our beloved Sugar while they worked on every other animal that they felt more important!! To think all that time they had her in the back alone while we sat alone crying and scared we could've been holding her longer, loving on her longer. It was just a horrible experience all around and the customer service is what made it the absolute worst! The one good thing was the 1st vet, an older gentleman who was upfront and honest...outside of that everything was callous and about money. Owners beware.

STAY AWAY! They are SCAMMERS not concerned with the care of your fur baby. If I could issue a 0 STAR I would. We visited on 9/6/24 @ 10:26p because our dog consumed a huge rock. Upon discharged for this visit at 9/7/24 @ 12am, WEC completed ex-rays and bloodwork for $650 and recommended surgery that cost $4K-$6K. Full payment was due in advance. We declined the surgery at 12am on 9/7/24 to wait for the bank to open later that morning to transfer funds. At 5:26p on 9/7/24, we returned to schedule, pay and start the surgical procedure for removal of the rock. WEC led us to a patient room. Within 5 mins., a young lady entered and stated the price increased to $5K-$7500!! No doctor evaluated our dog or even entered the room prior to this price increase! We immediately requested for a doctor to justify this significant increase WITHOUT evaluating our dog. The doctor entered the room in an extremely irate matter and procedure to yelled "the price is the price and not going down, so either you pay it, or find another place to go!" I'm beyond disappointed to see this level of unethical care and lack of veteranian standard of care. Don't subject yourself to this level of care in your time of need... RUN TO ANOTHER CARE PROVIDER FAST!!!!!

I'm not sure why their rating isn't higher. I had to bring my dog in today to be evaluated. The treatment, level of care, and kindness toward me and my dog could not have been better. The wait was long but that is because of the influx of pets needing treatment. Thank you Waldorf Emergency Care for giving me the answers I needed and the tools to help improve the quality of my beloved Cali's life.

Went to WE Care due to weakness in our dogs back legs and dog not eating for past 3 days. After contacting neurologist they recommended seeking emergency care immediately and having blood work done. Got to WE Care and after waiting for three hours we were charged for "vitals" (weight and BP). They refused to do the other services or tests recommended by neurologist who was unable to immediately see the dog. Dog was sent home with no tests done. Absolutely horrible service by Dr. Fox and staff.

Some of these reviews don’t make any sense. 1) Don’t expect ER visits to be cheap. 2) If it isn’t an emergency, you are going to have to wait until the other worse cases are dealt with. 3) Many vets in the area sometimes are at max capacity and they usually tell you immediately so you can get somewhere else.
I came at midnight bc my dog ate chocolate. This was an emergency, but the tech politely told me they were at max capacity. She gave me a sheet of allll the other urgent cares in the area and the poison control line. I think that was exactly how it should have been handled. I called Annandale hospital, they had room. I drove there and got treated. The end.
