I was greeted with a warm smile by Chris. He was friendly, professional, and courteous. He explained all of the services and was easy to understand. Alex was also friendly and polite. IF I COULD PUT 0 STARS OUT OF 5 THEN I WOULD FOR THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ON 02/08/2024. OIL CHANGERS BEWARE WHEN USING A OIL CHANGING SERVICE WHERE YOU ARE NOT VISUALLY BEING ABLE TO SEE WHAT IS BEING DONE UNDERNEATH THE HOOD OF YOUR VEHICLE ????? Hello everybody just want to share my experience at Valvoline with you. I will never go back to Valvoline again let me teach you something!I have been going to Valvoline for a very long time. For multiple years have had multiple cars and vehicles serviced in this time. I NEVER have experienced this AVOIDABLE & DISTUPTLY situation. Take a good look at what happened to me and my experience at Valvoline. There was a work rag left on top of my engine. In a hour or less there was a noise that came from under the hood like a squeaking noise and then there was smoke everywhere from under the hood of my vehicle. I popped the hood of my vehicle to see what I could not believe which turned out to be a Valvoline work rag that had got tangled in my "serpentine belt" and had caused my car to no longer run and I had to get it towed on their expense. I would advise you to check and take photos under your hood "before and after" leaving out of Valvoline before they put the hood down. Very bad and inconvenient experience. I do Lyft full time for a living and they said they do not compensate for a problem that they caused. Where does that leave me at financially? I have a family and responsibilities? I came in trying to get a basic oil top off I ended up needing a "oil change". Because of this incident I ended up not being able to use or utilize my vehicle for 2 days. I do appreciate the rental car and they acted fast and correcting the problem but it does not help me if I lose 2 days of work for Lyft I am trying to get them to compensate me for lost work from doing Lyft. It has really set me back these two days I lost not being able to drive and all I am asking is for Valvoline to rightfully compensate and make things right for a long time loyal Valvoline customer. Is that unfair? No I don't think that is when I came in there with no issues and problems and left out with many. No vehicle for 2 days "equals no money for 2 days" which equals "unpaid bills" and my family being effected for 2 days. Take a good look at these pictures remember check under your hood before and after they shut it or you could be in the same situation as I was. A simple mistake can turn into a big problem "THANK GOD FOR CAMERAS" ??????at this Valvoline facility. I have been a loyal customer and have spent a lot of money at for years for the convenience and peace of mind of a oil change and other vehicle maintenance. Hopefully Valvoline can make things right or else I'll to take my business elsewhere. I'll let others know of my situation as I am well known in the area and have lived here all my life and to go elsewhere for oil changes. I'll be taking legal action if not "rightfully" and "properly compensated" for the inconvenience. I have been going to this location for about two years now and each time I have had a efficient experience. Each tech took the time to explain what maintenance my truck needed. Surprisingly, they always have the oil I need...which is not the case for other shops in the area. I have a foreign model SUV. I recommend going when they open to avoid the long line.

I go to this location or the Laplata location. I got my oil changed recently and the next day I noticed an oil leak in my drive way, I brought it back and was told that my oil pan had a crack in it .. the manager made up all types of lies and excuses to why they are not liable for this. Her name is Alley… she even told me that Kia Sorento’s are prone to oil pan cracks over time. This is a poor excuse… this is the fault of Valvoline so excuses and lies are not needed. I will be taking my car to Kia and I will sue in small claims court for charges. Valvoline will be paying for the damages. I won’t ever visit another Valvoline, I’d rather wait in a waiting room , to be provided great service , instead of a company not holding themselves accountable for something as small as this. I don’t want to hear anything about twerk screws or your new machinery. We will be speaking soon…

I got an oil change about 3 weeks ago and I noticed there was oil stains on the ground after returning to my car. I drove out of town from MD to NC and my oil was completely empty. I called the shop and John was very responsive, attentive and apologetic for the inconveniences. He quickly made a call for my car to be towed and fixed from out of state. I can’t thank him enough! Excellent customer service and acting quickly is GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Not sure the woman who was working 10/7/2023 @ 830AM, she needs a raise, she was working Bay 1, but was managing all 3 bays (maybe that's her job??) I was listening to her, she is very knowledgeable about services, inventory, and what each bay was having done. She's awesome!!

WORST experience ever! Took my Mercedes Benz CLA250 to get an oil change and the tech did not know what he was doing. Drained all of my transmission fluid out of the car instead of the oil. Then added 4 quarts of oil to the car making it a total of 8 quarts of oil in the car. Car started jerking, stalling, smoking from the exhaust and there was the most horrible smell ever. They took it to their mechanic to fix it and stated to me that it was fixed. I requested it be taken to a Mercedes dealership and the district manager of Valvoline (Grallin Harbaugh) refused to have it towed, he advised me that their mechanic fixed it and it was good to go. After speaking with Mercedes, they advised me to get the vehicle to them ASAP because it could've caused multiple issues with my car.

I visited Vavoline on 10/01/2023 to get my oil changed. After sitting in line then I pulled into the bay. I was then told they did not have a filter in stock for my. However, I was told that I feel too would be available at that location on 10/02/2023. Well I return back the very next day on 10/02/2023 as I was told by a manager by the name of Warren. Once I return he stated to me that the filter was available. Of course it was a blatant lie lie lie lie. However I was told that I had to get out of line go to O'Reilly by a filter and return stand in line again and go through the process again. I was told this by another manager by the name of Shawn. I would not recommend this place to a person who was just learning how to change oil from a dungeon. If you want to save yourself some time stay away far from this place. My review would be zero.

I came on a Saturday morning before taking a quick trip out of town. My first mistake was coming on a Saturday morning lol and thinking I'm gonna be in and out. I arrived around 10:45 and I think I waited almost 45 minutes until they started on me. I requested the Full Service Synthetic oil change. Once I was in they were finished in about 15 minutes. I like how they don't push services on you. And only tell you what you really need done. I didn't need anything but I appreciate them communicating things to look out for and that I can come back after 1000 miles to check the level of my oil. Of course they charge you for oil, but the fact they will do that in between services is good to know. This was my second time, and I definitely will come back for the convenience. I will definitely choose to come earlier next time. Great service and great customer service!
