I am very appreciative of the staff here at the Goddard. If ever I have a concern, they do everything that they can to make me feel heard and comfortable. I LOVE the pre-k class that my daughter is in. The teachers do a fantastic job giving them an early start with learning and I can see the growth in my daughter, which as a mom, is a beautiful feeling. We couldn’t be happier!

My daughter have been attending Goddard since before she could walk. They've been tremendously helpful with getting my daughter speech on track, gross motor skills and her sensory development. The director is very welcoming in the mornings, very helpful and communicates very well.

I’ve had 1 child graduate from kindergarten that started at age 2 and currently have an almost 2 year old that started at 7wks. Awesome teachers that actually teach my kids (abcs, numbers, colors and more) at every age, even infant age by reading/singing! I’m very pleased.

The Goddard School of Waldorf stands out as a remarkable educational haven for young minds. Rooted in the Waldorf philosophy, it nurtures a holistic development approach that engages children's curiosity and creativity. The faculty's genuine dedication to each child's growth is truly heartwarming. The school's balanced curriculum blends structured learning and imaginative play, fostering not only academic excellence but also nurturing each child's independence and artistic expression. The commitment to healthy living is also commendable, with nutritious meals and physical activity seamlessly integrated.A notable highlight is Hasna Belayachi the exceptional Executive Director with over 9 years of dedicated service. In addition, the Onsite Director Ryan along with the front desk assistance Courtney have leadership which has undoubtedly shaped the school's welcoming atmosphere and commitment to excellence. The consistent communication between teachers and parents ensures that every child's progress is well-tracked.as a parent The Goddard School of Waldorf is a true gem for parents seeking a nurturing and enriching educational journey for their child. The holistic approach, guided by the Waldorf philosophy, coupled with Hasna and Ryan's exceptional leadership, makes this school an outstanding choice.

I am overjoyed with the care and dedication to learning at this school! It is truly a treat to have my child attending this school. I wouldn't have her anywhere else. From the moment you walk in the door you feel their attentive care as the Director, Ryan, office assistant Courtney and Executive Director, Hasna, greet each family intimately knowing every student and parent by name.My child was a more mature Toddler and I had interest in her being placed in the preschool over the Todd class to keep her challenged. Upon our tour of Goddard Waldorf these fantastic ladies took time to meet me and my child and took us to every class that fit her age/skills and watched her interact until they found the right class for her. This was HUGE to me. It means they cared about placing my daughter in the right class for her to properly grow and for the other children to flourish as well, making sure she matched their class constructive interaction. You will not find a better dynamic duo in the childcare development industry than these women. Their dedication to learning is paramount! It is no different with the teachers.Goddard holds a high standard for selecting teachers who genuinely love what they do. While I was touring other child care facilities in the area, I walked into a lot of rooms and was immediately turned off because you could tell the instructors were just collecting a paycheck and truly did not have an interest in child development.Upon my tour of the Goddard School Waldorf, I knew my little one who was in good hands. I met all the instructors, and they are all trained, experienced, and dedicated to child development as a career choice- they are doing what they love. In turn, you get happy kids. My daughter wakes up and ASK me to go to school. Ms. Danielle, Ms. Kendra and Ms. Lydia are part of the family now. My child runs to embrace them with hugs and smiles. They also use this cool tool- the Tadpoles app- to send important messages, pictures, and videos of your little one during the day so you can see what they are up to. Our first week of school, I had to fly out for work, and I was able to see snapshots of my child so I didn't miss out on her school experience. If you care about your children being in a great school with phenomenal leaders- you should definitely enroll in Goddard Waldorf!

It has been a pleasure attending The Goddard School, as our son has been there since he was 10 months old. We have thoroughly enjoyed the teachers, staff, and the education provided to prepare him. Ms. Kendra has been a blessing to our family, an significant role in his time with her in the Pre-K class. I can write an entire post about her. Not only does she teach but she loves. I promise we will never forget her. Ms. Lydia is the Private Kindergarten teacher, her and Ms. Kendra work together, which means while he was in Pre-K, he was actually learning Kindergarten material. Ms. Lydia is amazing as well. She has such a welcoming spirit. Her continuous work with our son, has been pure and exemplary. His handwriting, and precision with his letters, numbers, and name are impeccable. These are just a few things and let me not forget he is reading.Ms. Ryan Assistant Director has provided such amazing service from registration, CCA, billing, concerns, transitions, etc. She covers a multitude of things to ensure we were comfortable and worried about nothing. She is welcoming, always smiling, and always asked "Dr. Wilson do you needs anything, is everything okay." I am truly going to miss ALL of them.He will be starting public school kindergarten, and this wasn't an easy decision, to remove him, but we are confident he will excel beyond what is expected and required because of what the Teachers and Staff at The Goddard have provided. If you are in search of a great school for your child from infant to 5 years of age, I HIGHLY, 100% without a doubt recommend The Goddard School in Waldorf, MD. WE have been here for 5 years, and I can honestly say as a mom, I have been at peace every day I dropped my son off, and he has truly enjoyed being a part of this amazing organization. As a mom you often worry about who comes in contact with your child, and you want people to treat them as you have, and I know for sure they have loved on him. Thank you, thank you, and thank you.

I took my daughter out of this school almost 6 months ago and it was the best decision I ever made. The leadership is absolutely useless and the staff turnover is very high. Please look up their inspection reports with the state before sending your child there.

Absolutely terrible experience - high amount of screen time and disengaged staff. Frequently found our toddler just sitting in front of a staff member’s phone watching mindless videos instead of the staff actively engaging with him. Absolute joke to call this a “school”. Even driving near the school our son would instantly start crying asking to go back home. Uncommunicative, passive leadership team only interested in their bottom line. The Goddard organization should be ashamed to have this facility associated with their name.

Scammers, frauds, and no director/leadership! Save your banking information and do not send your children to this school. I have yet to receive an email not ridden with grammatical errors or a bill that was not incorrect. There is a pending investigation from a staff member who broke into the school and stole parent personal/banking information. The school was without a director for months and the newest director resigned effective immediately from Jun 22- Aug 22. Somehow no one knew that from Jun - Aug no debit payments were being processed. So now we're submitting personal bank statements to a school under investigation for a staff member stealing parents credit card information for refunds. The school decided to pull all outstanding payments at once (3 months and tuition is almost $2k) with no notice or communication to parents. The school had NO idea until after multiple parents pointed out the error. The teachers are amazing and do a great job. The billing and administration is terrible. After paying almost $2k/ month for daycare you would think they had enough to hire an actual accountant who can add...numbers..If you don't want to be on the phone constantly with your bank avoid this scam of daycare!

Poor management and lack of communication is a serious problem at this location. It put my child at risk with dangerous and harmful teachers without letting parents know. There have been abuse allegations and a current open investigation of a first steps teacher. This put my son's life at risk and for that I will NEVER recommend this school and encourage other parents to BEWARE and send their kids somewhere else if you truly love and value them.

First of all, my child DID NOT go to this school. The reason for the low rating was because of their lack of follow through. What I mean by that is my wife and I were looking for a good day care / school to send our daughter. I called and spoke to a gentleman on the phone and gave him my daughters age and he seemed disinterested at that point. He stated they were full for her age at that point. However, he said they were progressing some students and there may be openings. I asked him for more information about the program and availability and it seemed I was more of a bother than anything. He took my information and said he would call me back with more information..that was around 2-3 months ago..I never heard back from them. As such, I decided to just forego going there! And from looking at another review..it seems this is not an anomaly. We have NOT scheduled a tour as we were told they would call us back with more information.

My only regret is not sending my now 3 year old to Goddard sooner. She wakes up every morning excited about going to school and she is just as excited when I pick her up in the morning. I believe children pick up on habits and behaviors of the people they are around the most so it was important for me to find a school with teachers that were professional and seemingly happy about being there for the kids everyday. I found that and so much more at Goddard. The daily reports and pictures are a great bonus as well. I am looking forward to seeing my daughter’s progress during our time here :)

On a waitlist I think. Haven't heard back from the administration on the status of anything. Luckily no deposit was placed. Lacks communication on any updates or status after showing interest in the school for my daughter. I don't think she will be attending even when they hire the new staff.
