Would give this store zero stars if I could. My aunt recently had an order delivered from here and the guys were so nice and personable so I decided to go to their store to see what they have. Well it was like night and day from what I had seen from the delivery guys. Immediately outside was an older woman smoking and on the phone and the smoke blew right by the front door. Then when I walked in I was greeted by a measly hello from another older woman who was sitting down. I walked around the store and while the store looked very nice and some things interested me, nobody bothered to come ask me if I needed help. When I came around the corner the two lady’s were talking amongst each other and didn’t even glance over at me. Usually I wouldn’t say anything but this store definitely has potential with their layout and products but honestly the way the employees at the front work I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Everything about this store amazes me. I’m a frequent customer and the atmosphere and customer service is phenomenal!!! Ms. Kitty is bar none the best in the business!

Quality furniture. I really thought the prices were doing to be outrageous but boy was I wrong. I’ve purchased home accessories and furniture twice and planning another trip for new furniture in the spring.

My husband and I were blown away by the outstanding customer service provided by the staff in Waldorf, MD.Maurice helped me through the purchase of the beautiful Ingrid sectional over phone, and when we arrived to pick up the couch, he came in to the store on his day off to make sure we were refunded the difference in price from our original purchase price to the lower price for the annual winter sale, and then proceeded to help load the couch into our vehicle. Simply above and beyond the call of duty, and so very appreciated.Thank you Scandinavian Designs of Waldorf! We look forward to enjoying our couch for years to come.

Kitty the manager and Maurice the salesman are so cool and honest. I had the best shopping experience there, and will recommend my friends and family to shop there. I bought 2 chairs a but expensive, however once I got them home, I wasn’t happy with the quality, which was the manufacturer’s fault. The picked them up and gave me a refund no questions asked. Kitty even let me travel to Massachusetts while the chairs sat in my house, because I had some important business to tend too. Overall it’s a nice place to do business with.

I could not be more delighted with the service and attention to detail exhibited by the Waldorf, MD Scandinavian Design team. From Maurice in showroom sales to Jay, the delivery professional, and all their colleagues behind the scenes, I salute you all. You each give Scandinavian Designs a winning image!After a particularly unpleasant cross-country move where nearly all my custom furniture was destroyed, I found myself in desperate need of help. After visiting several furniture stores from Baltimore to DC, Scandinavian Designs in Waldorf, MD stood out as special- largely due to Maurice, who kindly worked magic and managed to find in stock pieces for my home that far exceeded my expectations. Final delivery and installation was completed today, and I am so grateful. I can finally put the misery of this move behind me and focus on settling in.Thank you to one and all at Scandinavia's Designs!To readers of this review, remember that you get what you give. Customer service providers are professionals and deserve dignity and respect. They are not servants, they are partners- if only you let them. In my experience with this team, you get back ten-fold more than you invest - both monetarily and emotionally. They are tops in my book!

Furniture is great and all, but it took THREE trips to pick up the correct order. This would be less of a big deal if I wasn’t pregnant and didn’t live an hour and a half away, staff knew this and still gave the complete wrong furniture to my friend (who I had to pay out of pocket to pick up for me due to me not being able to make that trip a second time.) Due to this had to go back a third time to return the furniture we were given and pick up the corrects shelves, and still only got a $26 refund for all of my troubles… staff was polite but definitely did not care at all about the amount of stress and extra time this whole situation cost me, and that refund was just a slap in the face. Also, I never got the initial email notification I was supposed to that my furniture had arrived at the store for pick up, so had to call myself, and when I did it was far past the delivery date. Terrible customer service.

Great experience!!! Very nice modern, contemporary, rustic, and mid century designs.. the layout is absolutely beautiful!! Maurice, Ms. Kitty, and Ms Ann are absolutely amazing!!! I would highly recommend...

We stopped in to see what they had. The furniture is very nice and looks to be well made. They have a lot of different furniture and furniture styles. Kevin, the sales guy, was super helpful and answered all my questions and even got to the book out to see if we could order the furniture the way we wanted it. The store was super clean and well laid out. I will be back to get my new couch soon.

I recently got the Blake bed delivered (and built), and a) it's a BEAUTIFUL bed, and b) I have only wonderful things to say about the quality of the build job! Jay and Brandon were friendly while being polite and professional, and CLEARLY good at what they do! I normally just build my furniture myself and save the money, but they made the extra purchase absolutely worth it - please give these guys a bonus!!
