If I could give this bank no stars, I would. I switched my business checking to PNC and it has been the absolute worst decision I have made. The branch manager and regional manager are not responsive and are not able to "fix" any of the erroneous errors that conveniently impact my business only. "I'm sorry" doesn't fix it when I have to run payroll and cover office rents. If you use a payment processor like Stripe, PayPal, or CashApp, instant deposits take 2-3 days to post despite having paid fees for instant deposits. Actually, instant deposits are held until enough withdrawals (which are conveniently withdrawn immediately) post to the account so that the account can have a negative balance. You are not charged overdraft fees, but the negative balances and overdrafts on the statements have impacted my ability to renew funding with a business lender I have worked with for years. Today, I have $10K of instant deposits that are "still pending." However, three checks from one of my vendors (office rent) totaling $27K that were deposited just before 5PM yesterday cleared immediately. But, the deposits from established and secure payment processing sites are still on hold. I do not know how a small business can work with this bank. When I opened the bank account, the branch manager gave me an incorrect routing number for my account. We updated all of our vendor accounts with this incorrect routing number. Because we do not write checks often, this did not become apparent until we ran payroll. Needless to say, my payroll vendor processed the pay, but dinged me so that I could no longer run next day payrolls and had to run payroll nearly a week before the pay date as a result. That's hard to do when deposits are continuously on hold. The only thing I received was a "sorry" and one checkbook. Not an order of checkbooks to replace the order of checkbooks that were ordered with the incorrect routing number, but one checkbook. I service over 400 small business customers and I would never refer this bank to anyone who doesn't want to be in constant stress over their business banking.

Staff has no sense of customer service. If you see 10 people in line, why are you having a non-bank related conversation, ignorant and rude. I closed my account with PNC. Mobile app is confusing and they never have enough tellers working. It shouldn’t take hours and hours going into the bank I’m going back to Wells Fargo

Waste of time calling the Waldorf Branch. Each time I have called and waited for 10 mins the call is disconnected! It happened to me 3 times! If you need help I guess you need to visit the branch instead!

The absolute best PNC. I’ve been a PNC customer for a long time now and each time I have a question about anything each employee offers me great advice and help. They are well informed about the inner workings of the bank and each service that it offers.

I just recently opened an account with PNC, and the staff was amazing. I was greeted instantly; the process of me opening an account was smooth and very professional. I'll recommend this bank to anyone.
