I was being told that I couldn’t get the rental because they don’t take chime credit cards. I was pissed off. I was in the rain and that was the only credit card I was able to use so I just asked them to give me my license and card back , said a few words, and left. Because of their policy which caused me to be without a car that day, why am I seeing that they are charging me $40.99 towards my card? I told them to not charge me and to cancel my reservation. Definitely gonna continue to report this store location and the bad customer service I received and not being able to get ahold of anyone there!

I came in to exchange my rental for a larger vehicle, and the experience was frustrating. The representative seemed uninterested in helping and made the process much more difficult than it needed to be. At one point, he said he needed another pen, walked away, and came back with a cheaper one instead of just completing the transaction. Rather than making the process smoother, everything felt dragged out and dismissive.
I value good customer service, but this visit left me disappointed. Hopefully, management can address this so future customers have a better experience

I do not recommend…. Insurance locked it with Hertz since it was closer to where my truck was getting work done at. I was in the system to be picked up from where my car was getting work done at 9/5. Well I called the day before to confirm my pick up time. The person that answered the phone said oh we may have a rental by that time. In my mind I’m like they have to if not they would have rejected the insurance reservation. The reservation that was made was to be picked up from the location where my truck was getting work done at which was not even 5 minutes away from Hertz. Everything was confirmed the morning I dropped my truck off I called Hertz several times no answer mind you my reservation for pick up and rental was already in the system and confirmed. Guess what Enterprise saved the day the insurance company canceled Hertz and made reservations with Enterprise, they came right away and picked me up and I was in my rental in no time. Thanks Enterprise. I do not recommend Hertz. Customer service trash

The customer service at this location is horrible. You can never get in touch with anyone and they don't return messages. Dropped off a rental almost a month ago, and they just charged an additional amount just yesterday, which made my bank account to be overdrawn. With no bill or statement as to what I was being charged for. And definitely no phone call. Will never use Hertz again. Terrible experience.

How do you allow a customer to take a vehicle out of state with dead battery. As well as have a location thats a whole in the wall for your clients. The representative seemed overwhelmed and rude or annoyed. Roadside assistance informed me that I didn't purchase the option for assistance and rished to end the call and notwd we left the the ligts on.Will not use Priceline or Hertz to rent a vehicle EVER again. Will now be using only the airport.

It took over a week just to get a car after being told it was ready. The first vehicle offered was filthy with sand all over the floor and stains on the seats that looked like spilled soda or worse. I declined that one, only to be given another car two days later that was just as bad if not worse condition. The steering wheel was peeling, driver seat had a broken A-pillar that kept falling off and hitting my shoulder while driving, and the window seal was faulty, making it sound like the door was open the whole time. One of the tires had a gash and kept slowly deflating, forcing me to stop and pump air multiple times. Completely unacceptable service and poor vehicle condition.

Horrible! Never answer the phone. Ridiculous charges on your card after the return of vehicle! Charge a fee for smoking and I’ve NEVER spoke anything in my entire life.

I rented a car for 4 days, pickup and drop off at Waldorf, MD location. One day after rental I received a return vehicle receipt for a car dropped off in Chicago and an additional charge of $500. I was told 2 vehicles had same vehicle ID and I would be refunded within 24 hours. Five days later no refund, had to dispute charges with credit card company.

We booked a midsize rental at this location three days before pickup. Less than twenty-four hours before said pickup they called and said there was no vehicle available with the exception of an electric vehicle and as we have no means of charging such a thing at our current location, as such we were out a vehicle. Upon calling the corporate office, we were told there was nothing they could do to help us and the reservation price we locked in would not be honored at another location. This was a poor experience, and unacceptable. Going forward we will not book with Hertz.

Harold is one of the most professional and patient reps that I've spoken to while doing business in general.I had to call back several times in a single day due to not being given vital information from AAA.I called back today. Harold remembered me, answered my concerns, and even took the time to assist me by reserving my car over the phone.He made sure that I received my AAA discount and prepared me for my rental on Wednesday.Thank you, Harold!
