We were having a transmission problem on a long road trip from NC to NJ. Valerie was not only helpful, she was wonderful to speak with. She was reassuring, kind and genuinely empathetic to our problem. I would definitely deal with her again!

Left my car for a week while on vacation. Called 3 times during the week as they never called me. Once it was being test drove, once the tech was busy and once they were looking at it. I called back the 7th day to be told it needed brakes and wheel barings. Asked that they do the work if they had time. Again day 7. Go to pick it up day 8 to be told they were waiting on me to call back to ask to have it done. You can't be serious. Then to be told they got my suv mixed up with a sentra. Was charged a diagnostic fee for them looking at it. NEVER AGAIN!

I had work done on my car a few months ago. My initial opinion of this place has drastically changed. I was having a problem with my car recently and realized that they must’ve thrown my car together to make it drivable. I found out later from another shop. There were things that should’ve been done that wasn’t done. Disappointed because the customer service was good. Especially Valerie.

Val at Cottman will go out of her way to ensure you get the best service possible. The shop is clean, amenities for the waiting room are more than comfortable, and the technicians are eager and professional. Please don't pass up an opportunity for the best all around service in Charles County. Our household will continue to to have our automotive needs fulfilled here.

Warning! This place is definitely in the business of making money and will over-charge you for everything they can and then some. I went somewhere else and got my truck fixed for half the price they quoted.

I took my car for inspection. I ended up having to wait a while because the mechanic that does the inspections had a doctors appointment and was expected back sooner. But things happen. The young lady kept me undated on his return time. Made sure I was comfortable with water and I was able to watch TV. I appreciate her effects and once he returned my car was finished quickly. Because of the thoughtfulness I would use Cottman’s again. I highly recommend.
