Requested style: I requested Senegalese Twist (3 hrs on the website). When I arrived, I had to sit for about 15 minutes before they figured out who was going tondo my hair, even though I had an appointment. They young lady seemed confused and kept asking them for approval as if she had never done them before. After 5 hours, my hair was completed. I was given a mirror (but I couldn't see the back), and it looked okay. When I got home 15 minutes later, I was trying to style my hair and saw that many of the twists hadn't been braided down. So they were unraveling. There were so man unfinished braids that I had to camouflage them to go to work the next day. I called Rosy to complain, and she agreed to correct the problem. When I came back a day later, there were 3 different people working to correct this, and it still took 1.5 hours. AND the twists still weren't right. Inconsistent (likely because there were 3 people working on my hair). Also, I've never seen twists that have 3 inches of braids at the end. Rosy is nice, but I was really inconviencied. That was 6.5 hours for a 3 hour job. I think she is training raiders, but not checking the quality of their work.

I don't normally leave reviews but I have to warn you all. I get my hair braided been getting it done. Rosy is good but some of her workers are unexperienced. She seems to give anyone a chance not paying attention to quality and customer service. I went at 3 I left at 8. I asked for small braids I got medium braids they look soooooo bad I had to leave a review. I asked in advance for experienced workers I got training workers. I had to say something because this the third time. My hair looks empty and just bad I don't want to go outside. I have a scheduled photo shoot I will have to cancel ?. And although rosy agreed to do my hair over I am tired of the inconvenience of all of this when we discussed all of this before hand I wish could upload photos 5 hours 2 people on my head 1 was on her phone leaning and texting for an hour. 1 went to sleep like she was so tired and at the end of it all they just wanted the money. I'm sick if the treatment from these shops they need more oversight there's too much money being paid to these establishments with no real monitoring of what is going on and my money is not for free at my expense. Save yourself some time go somewhere else if you don't want to deal with this

I go in to get my hair crocheted. She had two new girls (you can tell they were new because she had to keep inspecting their work and explaining to them what to do and how to do it (in French course, not English). Less than 10 hours later the braids start sliding out. I reach out to let Stephaine know need my hair fixed and how soon it could be done. All I got was her telling me that I couldn't come at the time I wanted and that I should suffer further inconvenience and she seemed not concerned. She was ALWAYS late with an excuse, but the service was good up until then, but never again! I need to have it fixed and have to find someone else to do it because she stopped responding to my request to have my hair fixed.

I went to get small knotless braids done by Rosy and another woman today and I absolutely love them. They are so neat and clean. I also was there for half of the time that I would spend at another shop. Usually this service can take braiders 8 to 10 hours. I was only there for about 4.5 hours. The prices are very reasonable. These are the best knotless braids that I’ve ever had and I will definitely be back every time I want braids! They look sooo good!!? I would highly recommend Rosy!

Rosy is very Customer Focused Friendly, Professional, and does a Marvelous Job with my hair, no matter what style.She is the Best Hair Washer and Massager for your head/hair that I know.I ABSOLUTELY ❤️ her and the Services she provides.She is the only one I know that does not do braids very tight but just right and they last.I will definitely keep her.She is the bomb.I love the Gospel music she plays in her shop.She is 5 ? plus.Evelyn

I was a loyal customer of Rosy and had been to her salon twice before, where her staff did a great job. However, during my third visit, I decided to get bora bora braids. Rosy assured me that she could do it. I ended up spending eight hours in the chair, even assisting her in separating the hair. However, I noticed that my braids did not have a split in the middle. When I addressed this issue with Rosy, she tried to convince me to keep it that way, claiming it was normal. I insisted on having it fixed. After that, I started noticing more mistakes on my braids made by her assistant. I felt uncomfortable addressing this with her, and when I did, she yelled at me and threatened to call the police, even though I was not being disrespectful. Despite paying for her services out of respect for her work, I found this experience to be very unprofessional. I will not be returning to her salon and I do not recommend it to others.

I visited Rosy Hair Braids a few weeks back ending of June 2023 -- not that long ago. I had simple 'Spring Twist'. Rosy is very pleasant but I would have liked more customer service engagement with me to establish a stronger relationship for a first time customer. Most of her interaction was with an associate friend/colleague whilst doing my hair (1st strike). Anyhow, since getting my hair done 5 twists in the back has already fallen slid right out and 1 in the very very front of my hairline. For a $180 plus tip I work very hard to earn my money and would have wanted to get 100% satisfaction none less than that. I think the concentration level was too distracted. I certainly could have called and gone back but at this point even more twists are loosening eventually will fall out on their own I would rather just spend my money elsewhere and re-do my whole head. It's extremely clear there is most definitely no customer care engagement much in my experience. Once again its proven my point our folks work ethics is much to be desired. Now, the back of my hairline looks like kunte kente...so sad so I keep the rest of the hair hiding that area. Thank you for letting me share -- will not be recommending or going back - my $180 has already been spent. Don't want the money back ... just wanted quality professional work done on my hair. Lastly, Rosy Braid website is very beautiful and impressive to the blind eyes -- but the work does not for me demonstrate the website. Thank you again for allowing me to share. 7/21/2023

Was not pleased! Rosy did what my child wanted her to do and neglected to listen to me (the one who paid). When I asked her about the result, her reply was “I did what she (the child) wanted”. My reply was, “the child does NOT pay”. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone!! She did not attempt to rectify the situation at all. She really felt justified in doing what the child wanted over the parent. Unbelievable!!

This was a terrible experience. I paid $200 to get spring twists done. I arrived on time and the braider was 40 mins late. One lady started my hair and when the second person arrived she continued. She did not do a good job. My twists were uneven and she did not stretch the hair in the front to match the length in the back. The customer service was subpar. They charge way too much to not know how to style hair and the customer service was also poor. I will not be returning.
