Worst experience I've ever had in a CVS pharmacy! I went to the pharmacy at 4:00 p.m. to pick up prescriptions that were sent in at 9:00 a.m. this morning. I was told that the prescriptions weren't ready and that it would take an hour to an hour and a half to fill. I decided to leave and returned to pick them up at 5:45. The pharmacist looked my name up and then told me that it would be an hour. I asked the reason for the delay when I was told an hour before that it would take time to fill and that the prescriptions were sent in that morning. She then told me that they were "a week behind" on filling prescriptions! WTH? There were 8 other customers waiting and the drive through line looked like a drive through line at Chik Fil A. I finally got my prescriptions after pressing the issue, but like WTH?? On what planet is that okay?

Very efficient with filling prescriptions and text notifications that scripts are ready and reminders if I should reach out to my doctor.

I am amazed by the number of negative reviews for this pharmacy. I have been using it for 5 years and they have been very efficient and accurate with filling my prescriptions. Sometimes the line is long but a lot of people are picking up their meds. The line moves reasonably quickly. I took away one star because the drive through is very slow but I've learned if the line is too long park and go inside.

Service is consistently awful. Today I called and at 7:15 was on hold for 45 minutes just for them to pick up the phone and hang up on me a 8 when they closed. I would give zero stars if I could

The service at this location has been just fine. However I wouldn't fill any prescriptions at CVS especially if you are taking any generic medications. I came to this location to pick up a script and was taken aback by the high cost ($95 after insurance for 90 day supply) Safeway pharmacy charged me just over $12 for the very same script. After doing some online research it's consistent that CVS and Walgreens over charges for generics.

What a waste of location! I called on Friday to put in my prescription. The idiots at the pharmacy said it will be ready on that same day and they will call me once it's filled. I waited and NO CALL! It's a holiday weekend so I called back the next business day Tuesday, to see what was going on! The liar said, "oh Don't worry we will fill it today!" I'm looking on my CVS app and it says they are out of stock!" How didn't you know that you have no inventory before saying you can fill an order? Wouldn't it make sense to check stock first?! Now I have to call back AGAIN! My 3rd time!! I really try to be nice but this is utterly ridiculous and they are going to hear my mouth. They need to do better. If you can avoid this location STAY AWAY!!

It's bad! This pharmacy is the worst. Service is horrible. You'll have to wait for your prescription forever. Just drive a few miles to the next cvs.

Worst. Pharmacy. Ever. That's really all you need to know. If it isn't bad enough that the customer service here is abysmal, you run the risk (like we did) that they will give you the WRONG medication mixed in with your medication! Yes, read that again carefully: in the pill bottle that we were given were additional pills that look NOTHING like the correct prescribed pills. It would be one thing if someone simply handed us the wrong pill bottle. That would have been easy to detect. "Excuse me Mr. Pharmacist, I'm not Mrs. Jones and this medicine isn't mine." I would then hand it back to the pharmacist or tech and they'd give me the right bottle. I can see that possibly happening - simply grabbing the wrong one off the shelf and ringing it up. It really shouldn't happen if someone is paying attention, but ok let's move on.What happened to us was the pharmacist or tech who dispensed our medicine somehow included additional pills that look nothing like the correct medicine. The additional pills that were mixed in with our medication had a different color and a different shape! So either the pharmacist is blind or they're not paying attention. That should worry anyone who is thinking about getting their prescription filled here. The only reason we discovered it is because it had been such an ordeal (4 visits in 2 days) trying to get our medicine from this CVS that we decided to count all the pills once we got home. It was when we poured the contents onto a plate at home in order to make sure the pill count was correct that we saw the other pills. mixed in. It really makes you wonder: what would have happened if an elderly person or someone with poor vision didn't even think to check? That person may have gotten sick or maybe even died had they taken the wrong medicine. So when we returned to the CVS (now we're at 5 visits in 2 days...smh) later that same hour, all they could say was "Huh, I wonder how that happened." There wasn't even a slight apology.I have an idea how that happened: the CVS pharmacy at 7600 Crain Hwy, Upper Marlboro is hiring people who don't take their responsibility seriously. Dispensing pills isn't rocket science. The consequence of not doing it correctly, however, is a HUGE liability. For that reason alone, I will NEVER return to this CVS pharmacy.

Two star average - four stars for drive-thru COVID testing and quick results. 0 stars for at home COVID tests. We are told they were not covered by insurance, and the tech was unhelpful.

This CVS Pharmacy is consistently inefficient. Please, someone from corporate take note of all the negative reviews of the pharmacy and do something about it. They are two days late filling my birth control and, I'm not sure if they are aware, you sort of can't be late with that! Pretty much defeats the purpose. I called 2 hours ago to check the status and they said it would be filled in an hour. I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru--only to get to the window and be told they need 10 more minutes! This place is a mess.

I'm a long time customer with a sickly child. I've always found them to be responsive, timely and personable. If I had question they always had an answer. The store is convenient, well stocked, neat and clean. I have always found it a great pharmacy and store!

Still the worst CVS I've ever used. Refill request thru the website. Waited 2 days before I went to pick it and it still wasn't ready. Had to circle around the drive thru and wait another 20 minutes for them to get it ready. Slow and not efficient!

This is my first time using Yelp, but it is absolutely necessary. If possible do not ever have your prescription filled at this location. The ER failed to communicate with this pharmacy about my child's prescription, but the lack of help offered is what upset me most. There was no guidance offered as to what I should do next just a simple they (ER) didn't call it is what I received. Thank goodness for my primary care team as they saved the day for me. Also, it has taken 1 hour+ for me to walk away with one prescription. There is a lack of professionalism and humility at this pharmacy. CVS corporate needs to look into this and provide some much needed training. The healthcare field should maintain the highest level of "care" at all time. I'm appalled.
