Carolina Carter was super knowledgeable and helpful with my closing as well as bringing to my attention the opportunity to transfer a high interest rate balance to a much lower interest rate! Both these individuals are true assets to the credit union!!”
“Catherine Jone. Is very helpful and take her time to go over things. Makes you feel good about opening a new account. My experience was very great. She’s very patient and kind big thank you shout out to her.”

The next day I noticed the check was not pending. I called NFCU spoke with several associates and was told that a check had to be reissued. However when I went into the branch and spoke with Ms. Terri Kipp (branch leader). She went above and beyond to make sure I did not have to wait another 7 to 10 business days to receive my funds. I hope management knows she is a real asset to the company.”
“Fast professional service. I handled my auto loan refinance online and then came inside this local branch to pick up my check. Quick and very efficient. Front desk staff was kind and helpful. The customer service representative was also very much helpful. I also appreciate the additional measurements they are taking with following the COVID 19 safety guidelines.I can definitely tell management is doing a great job with leading and educating, training staff. Navy Federal is my go to for all of my banking/financial/ business services needs. I would humbly like to suggest maybe adding water bottles in the lobby as a courtesy to customers. Even if they can’t drink inside the branch. (Masks on) Also maybe adding automative night lights outside for drive through. Keep up the great job.”

2200 Petrie Ln Suite 536, Glenarden“Update on the service that I received at the Glenarden branch of Navy Federal Credit Union. I received a call from the Branch Manager Michelle who wanted to reach out to me because I had sent a online complaint. The Manager wanted to know what happened with the member representative Aerial at the branch. I had explained that the member representative stated that she couldn't accept my $10 in coins for deposit and stated that they had to be wrapped. I pointed out that the $10 in coin consisted of $8 in quarters, $1.10 in nickels and .90 in dimes all of which could not be wrapped. The Manager stated that the member service representative said that I didn't want to give the employee the coin and had a change of heart. "This make no sense because I wouldn't drive out of my way to make a deposit and then have a change of heart and then make a complaint". Needless to say the Aerial lied to cover up her incompetence! . The Manager assured me that Navy Federal Credit Union does take coin that can not be wrapped and that the employee has been advised that she was in error for communicating the wrong information. I just wanted to Thank the Manager Michelle for addressing my concerns so quickly!!! .”
“I’d like to take the time to praise an asset to this branch, Miss Shirley Nixon. Miss Nixon has been extremely helpful during a difficult process. She may be your best bet to getting things resolved! Thank you again.”
“06/21/2024- Skip the wall up, skip the lines, now using mobile app for my business . I gave up on trying to make deposits at the walk up outside. Generally, the line outside for the walk up teller machines are long! Inside lines are even longer! Staff is nice. Security on patrol is scary!”
“This is a no cash transactions branch. The only cash available is via ATM. The staff is cordial and very helpful. This branch is very accessible by transit and vehicle.”
“I got issued what I thought was an incorrect interest statement for the tax year (it's actually correct), so I called the Customer Service and got an interesting explanation, which is actually beneficial for those who are into taxes like I am: they credit the previous month's interest to the next month's on the first of the month. Therefore, for this credit union, one will always know their full year's interest for tax purposes in early December instead of others that you wait for January to know December's interest (it has to do with the posting date in parentheses they use). Therefore, this helps if you want to try to get as close to breaking even as possible at tax time by paying exact taxes during a current year.”
