The hours posted say they are open til 7pm. My husband and I pulled up at 6:45pm and the store was closed. All we needed was a new key fob battery (which I know from experience takes a max of 5 minutes). I understand that 10-15 minutes before closing is cutting it close but it’s not like we pulled up at 6:59. In that case, Id understand them being closed and not being able to provide service. Closing early with no notice or any kind of signage posted is unprofessional.

Why would the young man there be dishonest as I walked in, I have come to this store many times for my watches as well as my car remote, as I walked in I told him I needed batteries for my 2010 Lexus remote, he said are going by what the car said it was weak, and proceeded to take keys remote from my hand saying let me check the battery for weakness, he went behind the counter where there were different draws but couldn't see what he was doing, he came from behind counter and handed me my keys and took me to the register and charged me $21 and some change.
I had to ask for receipt, realized he hadn't given me one, as I looked at the receipt I knew I should have gotten a second battery that comes in the two pk.3v lithium, Not only did I not receive my second battery, but I was charged for him putting the battery in, which I did not ask him to do, I know how to do it myself and I knew it cost more when they put it in for you..I called back asking for the manager, of which of course he said was not available, how could he help me, I asked about the pack of two and the cost, he knew Who I was and try to explain the high charge for him putting the battery in for me and me only receiving one battery, the receipt clearly shows it as a two PK 3v.
and he was not asked to place it in my car remote...that is my experience that has really disappointed me.

I have used Batteries Plus in Upper Marlboro for batteries for our commercial fire alarm system. They have always been friendly, helpful, and accommodating, taking the time to get to know me as a human, not just a customer. They understand customer service in a time when it can be lacking.They have a wide selection of items, reasonably priced. We will be using them for the foreseeable future.
