Terrible service even by USPS's dismal standards. Last time I waited five minutes before anyone showed up.l at the windows. Darlene finally arrived and barked at me for leaning on the counter, then sent me back and forth to the mailing stations twice to update a zip code because "you're not allowed to work at the counter". Being disabled and in pretty serious pain at the time, and having no available seating or physical supports, this was more than a bit frustrating to me. Maybe Darlene could have empathized if she'd bothered to make eye contact with anything other than the computer screen, but she was having none of it. Terrible.

I absolutely hate this post office. I’m not sure why it took almost half an hour to ship one international package for someone while myself and others were waiting in line. To top it off I didn’t get what I needed to mailed before closing because once the international shipment was finally done, the employee proceeded to roll back the mail cart and start sorting I guess? Meanwhile myself, the person in front of me, and two individuals who came in after me are all waiting in line still. This isn’t my first time here either, every time has been a pretty awful experience.

Moved to the area in August of 2023 and obtained a PO Box at this architectural gem with the Armory across the street. Darlene, et al, have been wonderful to me. Darelene especially has assisted me with my passport applications, mail, renewals, etc. Really appreciate her and the team at this location.

I leave mostly positive reviews. In fact at this point I believe I have left 2 negative reviews. And Darlene won the 3rd! I asked for help with international shipping she stated it would be $5. While doing everything she says in a not so loving way “Don’t lean on the table”. Okay that was weird. Then she rings me up and says it’s $60 for my shipping. I simply said I can’t afford that is there a cheaper option. “Yea flat rate, I told you that.” I asked how much that was. “Listen do you want to ship this or not I have other people in line.”
Darlene, sole reason I won’t go there and recommend everyone to try somewhere else. This already has 2 stars, with her working there I’m sure they’re on the fast track to 1.

Signs posted state they're closed from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, which I assume is for their lunch. On any given day, you can go there at 12:15, 12:30, 12:45 and doors are locked, lights out. So then you come back thinking they'll be open at 1:15, 1:30, etc. and still closed. What's the point of posting a sign with your hours, if you're closing when you feel like it?

Ms. Darlene helped us get our package out and was extremely informative and understanding. I can't imagine what she goes through in any given day.

The old lady who commonly works the front desk has atrocious customer service skills. She is condescending and rude, which is the main reason I avoid this post office. Today will be the last time I return.
