The old lady who commonly works the front desk has atrocious customer service skills. She is condescending and rude, which is the main reason I avoid this post office. Today will be the last time I return.

I went in to drop off a package about a month ago for my husband before we went out of town, the woman working behind the desk was very rude and shook her head as I walked up, saying something about no packages being accepted at this location. I asked when they would be accepting packages and she said she didn't know, and that I should've read the sign on the door about it. As I walked out, I looked at the doors and there was no sign about that? I left irritated and confused lol. Looks like I'm not alone from other reviewers. We just ended up stopping at another post office in another city instead.

Darlene is incredibly rude. She makes going to this post office an uncomfortable experience.Darlene stated she doesn't care if people complain because she will still have her job.Her wrath seems to be targeted at most of the customers. Why is this allowed?

First - this is the most trustworthy post office in Baltimore. When I drop off slim packages in the drop box out front - I trust they will be scanned and not stolen. I know that's a low bar for 5 stars but hey it's Baltimore, it doesn't take much to impress us.Second - Darlene is not that bad. If you think Darlene is bad, you don't know what bad is. Like I said, stealing is the norm at some offices. I trust her completely with my mail, and that's all I really want at the end of the day. Her being extremely blunt is better than raising her voice - or flat out refusing to cooperate, which I've seen happen at other locations.Third - there is a cool mural to look at inside. I've noticed a lack of diversity and inclusion in the vignettes - but you can't have it all in life. At least there is art.The only thing that sucks about this location is the parking. It's almost impossible to park around lunch time.This is a good post office and we need to appreciate locations that still function.

Darlene at the service desk is extremely rude. When I arrived, there was no one at the service desk for several minutes. I waited and was spoken to in a sarcastic and condescending manner by Darlene. Darlene lacks any kind of customer service skills necessary for this type of job. It is a disservice to this post office by having Darlene assigned to work at the front desk. Please consider removing her from the front desk as I do not want to visit this location again, nor will I recommend anyone to receive service from this location, until she is no longer there. I am absolutely appalled at Darlene’s behavior and lack of customer service. Please do something about this.

I just shipped a parcel and I wasn’t asked the standard if there are any liquids etc. instead I was asked very rudely “What’s In Your Package? “ it felt intrusive. Also, when asked to check the address I was shipping the item to, I stated that the apartment number was missing and before I could finish the clerk rudely cut me off stating that the apartment number wasn’t in their system. I did not like how my experience was and I typically come here often to ship items.Darlene was rude.

The old miserable lady Darlene is super unprofessional and rude! Simply didn’t help with any service that i needed just talking to me with attitude for no apparent reason. I totally hate this location just because of the rude lady that ALWAYS have to take my letters! I’ll never come to this location again after today! She’s needs to be checked or fired asap! A bunch of hostility from a lady her age is definitely uncalled for!

Worst customer service ever. The woman at the front desk today (Wednesday, 2/8/23) was rude, condescending, belittling and was completely disrespectful. There is no reason not to say please and thank you when speaking to customers. I was told I had to purchase tape to wrap my package when there were 3 large rolls of packing tape right next to her. If management reads these reviews, putting this woman at the front desk makes people never want to come back to this office. Though I doubt this will have any real impact, save yourself the frustration and go to a different post office!

Just left today to mail something off and the only lady in there was nasty and rude! The government can hire better people! Come on now! If you hate your job get another one! ?
