They're in a bad spot if they're willing to lie to bring customers in.
For context, my car's driver side door has become inoperable, and stuck in place. The exact terminology I used verbatim. As in, it does not open or close and it is... Stuck in place? What else could that mean? Literally nothing.
I have two weeks til I go home and time is of the essence, need to get my car fixed. Firestone won't touch my car now that the door is stuck. I explained all of this on the phone last Wednesday. They said sure we can fix it bring it in Monday at 9am, so I do that, and I speak to some clueless blonde woman who tries to tell ME what the history of my vehicle is and that they can't do anything. Let the driver tell you what's up ESPECIALLY when they've done their own repairs.
Pull the actuator with a shim in the window slot to open it and then take the door frame off to inspect inside? How is it I know more about how to fix the problem than these "professionals"?
They asked me if I wanted to use insurance on this repair and I said "no it shouldn't be a major repair just need to pull the actuator to get the door open, take the panel off and go from there, shouldn't be too bad, insurance isn't necessary."
And their entire tone shifted? I'd be VERY WARY about bringing your vehicle to this place.
All the good reviews are 2+ years old there could've been 5 entire staff changes in that time. Reviews should delete after 2 years. This place is trash.

Bad Customer Care....I brought my car to ABE after being rear ended and the insurance company requesting I use one of their referred companies. I took my car in and received my rental car from Enterprise that ABE called for me. After three weeks my car was done and I picked it up. I had the rental and they called to have it picked up. They took the keys to the rental and said it would be fine to leave it and Enterprise would be by to pick it up. Between the time I left and Enterprise arrived a delivery truck hit the car. They did not notify me, I got a bill from Enterprise saying the car had damage. I called Enterprise and they told me that ABE had said that a delivery driver delivering to their location from Bob Bell Kia had hit the car and they together were trying to solve the issue. ABE did not call me when the accident happened or after at any time, they did not get the name and number of the driver, didn't take pictures of the damage, did not call the police reporting the accident since I wasn't present. When I called ABE about it they stated it wasn't my fault and they would take care of it.....after 8 months of these calls nothing was solved and the $1500 bill kept coming. I asked for the invoice number of the delivery so that I could track down the driver myself and they said they couldn't provide me with that information. They said that they were not responsible and there was nothing else that they could do to help me. Beware of this companies ethics....The insurance company spent $4000 to fix my car there. Now I have a bill for a hit and run that happened on their property. As a body shop did not do anything to get information about an accident which I find so surprising since they deal with damaged cars and insurance claims as a business. Am I to just call up Bob Bell Kia and say hey someone from your location hit my car...I don't have any info but the guy at the auto body shop said it was one of your guys. No I don't have any information the guy at the Auto body shop didn't take the time to get anything that would actually prove that this happened. This was at the Ensor road location. smh bad experience that hasn't ended.

Response to response: I fully understand that your establishment has to ask questions, but your “manager” said in front of employees and other customers “this makes no sense, you were not hit by a black truck.” She accused me of insurance fraud. I have full coverage on my Lexus with accident forgiveness. Outside of it being morally wrong to lie about an accident, I have no reason to lie. In addition, she is not a technician nor is she an insurance adjuster. I called my insurance company immediately and was given the name of another company where I will have my repairs completed.
I went to Evolution to get an estimate per my insurance company after a hit and run. I have never made an insurance claim in my entire 35 yrs. of driving. Someone who stated she was the manager looked at my car and accused me of basically lying about my damages. She was unprofessional and very disrespectful. I called my insurance company and immediately asked for other companies to get an estimate. Oh and when I called back to complain about the treatment I was told “there was no one above her” which was a lie.

OLD REVIEW REPOSTED AFTER THEY CALLED ME ASKING ME TO TAKE IT DOWN…Fast forward a year later and I am reposting this after they called me to take down the review and promised me a 50% refund on my initial rental car via check in the mail WHICH NEVER CAME..Even after I called 2 times over the course of a few months nothing came in the mail. Long story short the door still does not shut correctly. My mom just got out of the car and she shut the door but my car says the door is still open and the lights are on. It just never latches. Just super unprofessional and very displeased. Read below for the full review from March of 2023.I was in an accident back in early February of 2023 and went to Autobody through AllState as they are an approved shop. They could not get me into the shop for 2 weeks after my accident. I rented a car which at the time I was okay with and spent 500 dollars on the rental. Again okay with this as my deductible was only 50 dollars. I then got my car back and it was not the same as it was before I took it in. The car was driving better after the accident and before the care Autobody did to my car. A bunch of lights came on which I have never seen before and they then couldn't take care of the issue for another 2-3 days as they did not have space. I took it in and they could not resolve the issue they caused and I had to take it to a Jeep dealer. I then of course had to Uber back due to not having a car and have spent countless hours of travel, gas, money on trying to get this car fixed. IT IS STILL NOT FIXED. They seem super nice, but also seem like some of the most incompetent people with cars that I have ever met. How they mess up a car to the point it is going to take the dealer another 2 days to fix is beyond me. Just an awful job and awful communication all the way around and just AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. Never had an experience like this before and pray I will never have an experience like this again.Service: Body & Trim

I waited 2 months to have fender flares repaired on my Toyota Tacoma truck. After 3 inquiries on status spaced throughout the time period, I decided to have the work completed elsewhere. The work was completed in one and half week elsewhere. I hope my experience is not the same for others.

Amazing , My vehicle was finished early and they kept sending me up to date text messages about when my vehicle would be completed. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful. The parking lot looks like a mini junk yard and its hard to find parking . But other then that I would use again.

Car accidents are always frustrating, but Evan’s customer service, professionalism, and communication made the process much smoother. The quality of the repairs were worth the wait and my overall experience was pleasant. I am well-pleased with my experience at AutoBody Evolution.

I serviced my car there. while I enjoyed friendly professionalism of front desk young ladies, and hard working mechanics; yet I don't know if I ever want to come back. car wasn't delivered as promised, I spoken to manager, Will;; I asked if I it can be done 1 day earlier...results...lol...2 weeks late, while I had to locate my car l, as it stood in wrong dealership...at the end I gotten car back...fixed..yet, I am questioning why would almost each Honda in their care had some harness issues (wasn't my original issue..nor it was pointed out during their original inspection)...however, thanks for getting my car back...No discounts was given to me for delays :)

I honestly can’t say anything regarding the quality of their work. I was directed there after an elderly gentleman hit my jeep. His insurance uses this place for estimates. I arrive to the address and found the lot to be the most chaotic, disorganized mess I’ve ever seen. They share property w a few other car related businesses and when I tell you I was in complete shock!!! There were vehicles EVERYWHERE!!! There was no dedicated parking and vehicles just everywhere with cars continuously coming in. I couldn’t believe it. I called and informed the business that I didn’t know what to do. She said to pull the car to the business. Well there was a tow truck blocking a very small “lane” to the business. So she instead walked down to where I was. Now I will say she was very polite which I appreciated. There is absolutely no way I could ever use this business based upon that disorganized lot. It was just a terrible, awful experience.EDIT:A manager did contact me and profusely apologized for the conditions of their lot. I do appreciate that. Their other reviews seem to reflect a high quality of work. However I stand behind my review because it was an honest reflection of my experience.I hope in the future they… along w the other businesses… come to an agreement to make the entry way more organized and accessible.

At first when i brought my car here there was a big misunderstanding where my car was not fixed. Evan and my insurance company spoke and since then Evan apologized for everything and did everything in his power to do everything else that needed to be done to my car in 2 days!!!! A 30 foot tree fell on my car so i was panicking. He is the absolute best! He called me and kept me updated about everything that was going on with my car. I was so upset at first but no they were wonderful. I highly recommend them. Just make sure insurance company and their team are on the same page. Thanks again Evan you’re the best!Services: Paint repair
