I came in thinking I had a flat tire because I needed to drive 3 hrs back home. They were very courteous and made sure I was safe, they thoroughly check my tire for any leaks which was fine , put air and went on way.

So I called there early I talked to Alex about getting my aftermarket exhaust on he told me to come in and 2 more hours I was leaving with my car sounding so badass thank you Alex he also went over my car since I had just purchased the car and he recommended a few things with out putting you on the spot it was a simple recommendation and I respect that I’ll be taking my civic here from now on it’s hard to find trust worthy car shops if your reading my comment please go there and see for yourself thank you so much Alex

I went to the Towson location and they were very attentive, they helped me get my car fixed with this program they use but u have to get approved for it. They did an amazing job on my flex pipe my car dont make a sound when starting now and it only took them less than 2 hrs. The guys were very helpful and il use them again and refer them.

Incredibly unprofessional. Has no other times but 1pm available for Saturday (allegedly), then I arrive and the shop is empty. Note on the door says “be back shortly”. Not sure what “shortly” is but it’s longer than the 45min I’ve been sitting in the parking lot. If they have a note up, assume they’re closed for the day.

My experience with Meineke Towson did not end as I expected. I arrived there on a Monday for an A/C inspection, and the person who attended to me was an older gentleman who is the store supervisor. He informed me that the air compressor was damaged and needed to be replaced with a new one, and the price he quoted, including tax and repairs, was about $965. I asked if this was the final price and if I needed to pay anything else to settle it completely, and he confirmed it.
The following day, the supervisor called in the afternoon to inform me that there were two additional parts—the valve and something related to a suspension—that were blocked, and they would attempt to repair those since it would be cheaper and I could get my money back. I found this convenient for my budget. At no point during this conversation did the supervisor mention any additional costs; he only indicated they wanted to try this first, which I agreed to.
On Wednesday, the supervisor called my boyfriend—not me—stating that the car wouldn’t be ready that day because they lost power and that the next day they would have the car ready for me, either at a lower cost or with the new compressor installed without any additional charges.
On Thursday, I picked up my car, received the receipt, and as I was leaving, an employee stopped me and informed me that I owed $400 for the two additional parts that were replaced. I was upset and pointed out that I was never informed during the previous days that I would have to pay extra.
Ultimately, I felt pressured into paying something I shouldn’t have had to pay because the supervisor was not clear and did not communicate any additional costs. My opinion of the supervisor at Towson is that he is deceitful. Do not trust him, and don’t make the mistake I did; ask for detailed paperwork about everything that will be done to the car with final prices, request a receipt, and if necessary, record your conversations with this person. He is a liar with the intent to take advantage of you.
What if I hadn’t had that extra $400? I would like to file a complaint and speak to someone higher up who can review the conversations or at least get my money back. Injustice frustrates me; lies and being taken advantage of upset me. Overall, even though the car is fine, the professionalism and loyalty I experienced are at a zero.

My brakes were toast and I walked in such a panic. They were so kind and calming. My brakes were done by that morning. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I didn't have a great experience here. The work was fine but it took much longer than they said it would. It was also really expensive - $80 for an oil change!

This place has changed management so many times that I never knew who I’d see when I came in to get my car serviced. When I first took my car to Meineke over a year ago, they were really helpful so I continued going there but it started to feel like they were trying to get as much money out of me as possible.
I took my car here and they diagnosed it with over $2,500 in repairs after they had recently worked on my car and told me I needed a new turbo and other repairs that were over $2,500 as well. It was weird to me that every time I went there, they had a big work up of things that seemed inconsistent with what they had said in the past. I looked at reviews online and it seemed like other people had the same issues.
I told a friend of mine about the experience and they referred me to a mechanic they trust and he took a look at my car. The repairs on the list Meineke gave me weren’t the same as what ended up needing to actually be replaced. The total ended up being over $1,000 less than Meineke stated. I regret not going to get a second opinion before spending 2.5k on repairs, but I’m glad I finally found an honest mechanic.
