I’ve relied on Hampton Automotive for several years to maintain my older car that is “aging gracefully” due to the careful attention given by Gary and his crew over time. Competence, honesty and integrity in business, especially auto mechanics, are rare and highly valued qualities these days. After a recent tuneup my car ran perfectly on a long trip giving me confidence in navigating multiple road/traffic challenges so I’m especially grateful for this superior business. Thank you!

An honest mechanic that does the job right. My ac was blowing hot with low pressures after I added freon. I knew there was a leak and he quickly diagnosed a leaking condenser. He replaced the parts and found a discount on the new condenser. When I showed up to pick up my car, he kept my old condenser to show me where it was leaking freon and oil.

I called Twice after being referred. I was told they were busy to call the following week, that's fine, but when I called back I was rushed again and told I would be reached out to and I wasn't.I feel like I was blown off.

Gary was great! I was in Towson on a business trip, and I had unexpected car trouble. Lucky for me, his shop is located on the same block where I was staying, so I could just walk down the street and figure out where he was located. Just so you know, he’s down on the bottom level of a parking garage between a couple of loading docks. But that doesn’t affect his ability to do a fantastic job and explain everything clearly. His estimate for how much it was going to cost me was right on. And he got the job done much more quickly than I’m accustomed to. I truly appreciate the clear, competent service, and since I’m not far from Towson, I will probably bring my car back to him for regular check-ups.

Probably the most pleasant interaction I've ever had at an auto garage. They didn't try to make us replace extra things to make extra money. They explained everything in detail and do excellent work. Gary and his team are awesome! Hampton Automotive Service was recommended by a friend who is a "car guy" and he couldn't have been more right. Fair pricing, full disclosure, polite and friendly are just a few things that stand out, not to mention the repairs are successful and I get my car back the same day (even for troubleshooting and then the repair). I had a flat tire due to a screw in the tread. I had a little trouble finding them since I was looking for a typical auto shop and not inside of a parking garage. Gary got me in and out quickly and his price was very reasonable. I will definitely go back. Service was friendly and the price as fair. Definitely a 5 star location!!!
