I have really liked their new location outside of the main mall. They have been very helpful with finding specific items and managing returns. Free People as a company has limited in-store inventory so I call ahead sometimes to ask if they have what I’m looking for. They’re always very kind and let me know if they have the item in-store.
Customer service at the old location wasn’t good. I’ve have good experiences at the new location though- super friendly and knowledgeable!

Can't figure out if the process is broken or it's a matter of incompetence as I asked to be removed from the direct mail list in November and my dead wife is still getting mail from Free People. I called and it might have been this company where the representative asked for pictures of my children in the bathtub. Weird.

I love Free People and the store looks great but besides welcoming us in the store not one person helped us. When we went to the register the 3 sales associate never spoke to me or my daughter but just kept talking about the type of sneakers they wear and whether or not they can still get a discount. I was prepared to buy my daughter several dresses and skirts but ended up buying only one shirt since we couldn't find any of the items we liked on the mannequins and no one seemed interested in us at all. We were the only customers in the store at time. At one point my daughter and I thought the discussion between the sales associates was so ridiculous it would be on SNL.

If the right girls are working, you'll have a good experience. If not, you'll be watched and treated like a thief. Just shop online.

Absolutely wonderful customer service! Young lady went out of her way to make my daughter and I feel welcomed and informed. The clothing is pricey but staple and unique pieces you won’t find just anywhere. Extraordinary quality that you’ll wear many years to come. Thanks again.
