I grew up on Ethan Allen so I knew what to expect. They delivered all that and more in their customer service. I was greeted right from the door, asked if I needed help, And was kindly helped and treated very good along the way. I was very impressed with this one. Definitely going back for a second time to look at the furniture again. And incredible customer service definitely played a role in my return.

The same designer/salesperson handled two different transactions in a month. She was very good and knowledgeable about the products. I was kept informed about delivery dates, which were earlier than originally estimated. I first purchased Ethan Allen products twenty five years ago which I still have and love, i love the new safa and chairs.

The recent Versailles chair that was delivered to me after 5 months looks nice on the outside. However, the fabric that i chose was far from the one showed in the design center. The vibrant colors were somewhat faded compared to the one that they showed me. Also, the whole chair is so light unlike the other chairs that i bought from Ethan Allen. So i wonder if this is real wood or an immitation or maybe they use a cheaper kind of wood. I am sooo disappointed!

We have pruchased Ethan allen prevuiously and have been very satisfied with the experience. This time again, Ethan Allen met all of our expectations when we purchased new tables, lamps, chairs and material to have our sofa and love seat reupholstered. We were going to buy a new sofa and love seat but discovered that our existing, also purchased from ethan Alen many years ago, was in great shape and best suited our living room. Dawn, at the Towson MD store, was a pro, very friendly, no pressure, extremely accomodating including visiting our home twice, and a fine representative for the Ethan Allen brand. Thanks Dawn.

UPDATE: while we had a great experience with purchasing our couch, we went back to work with her to purchase blinds and it was a disaster. It was a long lead time because nothing was in stock (not her fault) but her follow up and follow through were terrible. She completely forgot about us and we had to call often to get updated when communicated dates came and went. She didn't proactively get more information just provided very vague, high-level updates when delays occurred. I even had to pop up at the store to have an in person conversation with her which I hoped would be more fruitful and ended up asking for the number to the blinds rep myself to get the critical info we needed. We ended up having to complain to the district manager who rectified the situation immediately.We worked with Rayma on the interior design of our basement and she is top notch. She helped us select a couch, came out to take measurements and was so kind, knowledgeable and patient throughout the process. She made excellent recommendations to help us find the perfect fit, make renderings and steer us towards a final selection.We were so impressed with her hands-on service that we also purchased blinds through her. She came out again to measure and it was such a smooth process after the nightmare we experienced with another vendor. We love the look of both in our new home and you know you’re getting excellent Ethan Allen quality!

We wanted to renovate our living room and recently went to the store to buy some couches. I loved to work with Rayma! She was so knowledgeable, patient, and kind. She came to our house, measure everything and helped us find exactly what we needed. We’re very happy with our purchase and the customer service we received.

Absolutely wonderful customer service from the moment we stepped foot in the store. The service representative who helped us was incredible, offered in-house consultation, walked us through all the options and led us to try out the furniture. I brought a picture with me of the rooms I wanted to redecorate/buy new furniture, and the service rep was amazing! She helped pick colors and fabrics to best match. No pressure buy. Honestly, the price is very reasonable when you consider the quality and service received. I will be coming to Ethan Allen from now on for all furniture needs. All other big names, boutique stores, etc. have not been able to compare. The Towson store just won a lifelong customer.

We recently updated all of the furniture in two rooms— we wanted each room to have a distinct feel, but to also coordinate as the rooms are adjoined. Dawn McElroy was easy to work with, professional yet personable, and attentive. She did an amazing job providing ideas to work with in beginning the redesign, and then worked with me to identify my particular tastes and preferences in making final selections for couches, chairs, lighting, tables, and fabrics and textures. We couldn’t be happier with the end result— thank you, Dawn!

Kristin Forster is amazing! She came to our home and re-designed our sunroom from top to bottom. She was able to find colors and textures in every piece that evoked a coastal rustic feel and worked together perfectly. Thank you Kristin!

When I arrived at the store I went in with a few specific questions. I was also in my restaurant uniform. I saw Rayma W and she was by the fabric section. She was avoiding eye contact. I peeked my head around and said “Hi, when you have a minute!” She says nothing. I then sent my friend and she said to Rayma “We have a few questions when you get a sec”. She finally came over 15 minutes later and we asked about a specific sofa set she asked if this was in our budget?? I told her I didn’t know because she won’t tell me the price. My friend then recognized her. She frequents our eatery and treats our staff like we are beneath her. She threatened us with bad reviews if we didn’t comp her food. Her initial treatment was absurd considering she also works in customer service. PRO TIP: dress like you have money if you have any questions.

I absolutely love Ethan Allen. I have been using them for 20+ years. Furniture is always high quality, no exceptions. And the service? Superb!I had the pleasure of working with Rayma Waraich this time and she was extremely accomodating. She did a home visit, put up with my quirkiness, and found me fabrics that met my needs. Again, superb service and product knowledge.I couldn't ask for more!

I would be very wary of working with this business and the majority of the issues we encountered were with the manager. She took a frustrating situation and found ways to make them even more frustrating. Without going into every detail, just note that the wrong fabric was ordered initially. Their mistake. We had to go back into the cue to get the correct set and were told that they could not prioritize the reorder and to top it off, the manager acted as if our keeping the wrong product while we waited on the correct product was a favor to us. I explained that we had to have furniture to sit on and her primary concern was whether the wrong set could be resold. Fast forward, at over the 6 month period, when we had not received pillows that were part of the original order, we stopped in the store to check on the order. The manager said the pillows were in but could not be released because an invoice had not come with the pillows. She expressed there was no doubt that the pillows belonged to us. She acknowledged we had paid for the pillows 6 months previously. We left but the absurdity of the situation was really bothering me. So I called her back and after a second absurd conversation, she said we could take our pillows. My poor rating is not related to the time it took to get everything we ordered. My poor rating is due to a complete lack of customer focus vs a hyper focus on minor internal administrative processes. We will not do business with them again.
