Noteworthy details: Beautiful 1840’s inn. You feel like you’re back at great grandmothers house. However the view is the reason to be there, it’s breathtaking! The inn keepers Bob and Tracey were so helpful and attentive. Breakfast was delicious.

We had an amazing experience here -- we had our wedding here in September and even though it turned into a tropical storm on the day of our wedding, Bob and Tracy handled everything perfectly! The setting was beautiful, our tent stayed intact, and everyone had a blast. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Bob and Tracy were great to work with. The inn and its grounds are beautiful and peaceful. We loved having our wedding here as well as being guests here, and we hope to come back soon!

If you want peace and quiet surrounded by beautiful scenery this is the place for you. This B & B is both quaint and full of history as well as beautiful art. No matter where you looked there was always something new delighting the eyes.We saw bald Eagles, snowy egrets, ospreys, kestrals and a loon on our walk around the property. The water was so beautiful to just stand and watch. In the morning, many small fishing boats were checking there lines just off shore.Bob and Tracy are wonderful. Very friendly and welcoming. The gates were a bit tricky if you are arriving alone or after dark. But the instructions emailed beforehand by Bob and Tracy were very helpful. The only slight downside was the downstairs had a rather strong scent of grandma's house. Not an issue for most people but if you are very sensitive to scents this might be something to consider. However, the room I was staying in did not have that smell at all. The bed was cozy, the bathroom very clean, the view from the windows was beautiful. Also note this is a historic house. Beautiful, old construction. If you are very tall, you will need to duck on the stair case.

We had our daughter's wedding here. Bob and Tracy could not have been more accommodating, gracious, responsible, and fun to work with. From our planning the wedding together, to their overseeing all the details on the day of, all our wishes came true! Highly recommended!

Beautiful property on the tip of a peninsula surrounded by water. Quiet and remote; wildlife; birds and sunrise and sunset. Stayed in a cute cabin that was comfortable with everything you need. Hosts were fabulous! Welcoming and knowledgeable- made us feel at home. Lovely pool and hammocks by the shoreline. Excellent area to bike and a short drive to great waterfront restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay- thank you!

This was the time to celebrate a relationship of a friend for 50 years and a spouse of 46 years. Your cabin reminded me of my Great Aunt's house in the '50s. The private space on this island point: was quiet, and the view was relaxing. To hear the wind and waves lapping against the shoreline. Now this Bed & Breakfast hosts topped off this short vacation time. Friendly with lovely three days of great breakest severed in the main quest house with rooms upstairs. House decorated, bringing you back into the 50s. Thank you, Bob & Tracy Walt & Adele

I don't need two hundred characters to rate the Black Walnut Point Inn. If you're looking for a place with spectacular natural beauty and delightful hosts, this is the place for you. We stayed here with my parents, who are in their late 80s, in two of the cabins. The cabins are right next to the Choptank River and the sunrise is spectacular. About 100 yards away across the island is the Chesapeake. The cabins are very nice but not fancy. The fenced-in porch is perfect for morning coffee and conversations. Bob and Tracy are marvelous.

We had the most peaceful and relaxing time. Bob and Tracy were so generous and kind. We stayed in the Red Cedar cabin and loved it! The cabins are a bit rustic but have the most beautiful views of the Chesapeake. I loved having our own private screened in porch. We enjoyed being in nature and watching all the birds. The grounds and the rooms in the house were lovely. Breakfast was delicious. We are planning to return again in the late summer early fall.

Spectacular views all around!! The inn keepers Tracey and Bob were very friendly and kind. We stumbled upon this Inn and once we saw the grounds, we knew we wanted to stay here. They were beyond accommodating. We stayed in a private cottage overlooking the water. The sunrise from the bedroom window was amazing! Perfect place for some quiet, quality time. There are some great food places in the area and it’s not far from downtown St. Michaels. We will definitely be back!

It's absolutely seren, beautiful and relaxing peaceful. Of course it could have been that my wife and I were the only guests there in February on my birthday ?. It's a historical setting on Eastern Shore in Maryland on historic maritime Tilghman Island MD.Our host Bob was magnificent. Most come here for weddings and in the summer months. We loved it as a beautiful stay in the middle of the week off season. We stayed at one of the cabins.Come visit soon.

As a DC wedding photographer, I don't get to document a lot of beach wedding so I was beyond excited about this location. As a very creative photographer, I thought there were so many possibilities to create truly unique photos for my couple.I loved every minute of working there and I would be thrilled to get to shoot another wedding there. Between the crazy sunset and the fireworks, this wedding venue offers so much to their couple and their families. I warmly recommend this wedding venue for anyone who wants a unique decor for their wedding in Maryland.

I stayed here recently for a wedding and it was such an amazing and beautiful experience!! My partner and I stayed in the 1840's house and it was one of the coziest and cleanest stays I've ever had. The inn keepers Bob and Tracy are so kind, accommodating, and genuine, and they will make you feel welcomed from the start. The rooms are all very unique, clean, and comfortable and the complimentary breakfasts are to die for. Really the only downside to the stay were the mosquitos and biting flies (which obviously only Mother Nature can control) so come prepared with lots of bug spray! Even if you forget yours at home, Bob and Tracy will make sure they hook you up. I will definitely be returning at some point to soak in the amazing atmosphere at Black Walnut Point Inn.

My husband and I celebrated our five year anniversary at the Black Walnut Point Inn and it was absolutely incredible. The inn is very secluded on water and it's so idyllic. You can watch the sunrise AND the sunset, being the inn is on the peninsula/end of island. Bob and Tracy were unbelievably kind and welcoming to us. They made us breakfast in the morning and had coffee and tea ready. We would enjoy breakfast and then sit on the porch with our coffee. We spent time reading by the pool and felt like we had the place to our entire selves. We stayed in the Attic Hideaway and it was perfect for the two of us. We ventured into town for some seafood on the water then brought a bottle of wine back to split as we watched the sun go down. We will definitely be back!
