So much candy!!!! It's fun to mix and match for a flat rate per pound. We came for the Hershey's ice cream though, which is always great and cost effective. They have a little outdoor picnic table area to eat and chat, too.

A gem old fashioned candy store. This place has just about every sweet you can think of. A large variety of candy, chocolate, fudge, ice cream, and more. Buy prepackaged candy or make your own bag.

We’ve been coming here for years but unfortunately their portion sizes have *drastically* gotten smaller while prices have steadily increased.

Like a throwback for a 90's baby to walk into. Bagged candy per lb, a lot of local business products in store. People clearly go here for the ice cream and I understand once we had gotten some! They have a deli side as well that looked really nice and had a huge variety of items.

OMG !!!
I visited this place for the first time and since then we were surprised with so many sweets that I had not seen since I was a child. This place has the sweets from your childhood. I'm from the 80s and you can imagine the sweets from that time.
OMG the best place you will find fudge chocolate, the best chocolate is there. My husband is a fan of lis fudge chocolate.
OMG the icecream is delicious, everything is very good and rich.
OMG have insect candy lollipops; ants, worms, scorpion, crickets.

If your driving on Hwy 15 through Thurmont, it's a definite great place to stop. All types of Bulk candy to choose from. Some seasonal packaged candy, nuts, and sesame sticks. Also, the best ice cream! I had Black Raspberry. It was super delicious. You have a variety of cones to choose from as well. The also a bakery on the other side of the Cady Store.

Omg if you have a sweet tooth this is where you need to come to. They have so many goodies in this candy. It's definitely a one-stop shop get your sugar fixed alcohol and bakery and deli. We bought it all.

The homemade fudge and candy is great. I'm a big fan of the dark chocolate peanut butter cups. The 1st time I visited the associate at check out wasn't friendly. The 2nd time, the person was very sweet, helpful and friendly.
