Sales person start off super friendly. First sign of trouble was the 3k difference in the online quote and the in person quote. I can understand a small difference in values, but 3k was a bit much. Then after the test drive we sat down to discuss numbers and they tried to add the destination fee twice. When I called them on they told me I didn't understand. When I showed them how their math was incorrect they just send that's all we can do.

Bought a 2022 2500hd crewcab brand new in January 2023. Ordered running boards same day oem. Supposed to call when they came in on Monday, Monday came no call, called Tuesday morning they are in. At delivery truck still had tape on grille, all 4 tires still had the white writing on them. Pulled my truck in my garage to install on running boards. As I was installing, from under my truck I noticed a small dent in the left fender area, upon further inspection I open the hood and found someone had tried to repair the fender from inside and destroyed the inside of the fender, I thought it was a very poor repair, no paintless dent repair guy would have left it like that, very very poor repair. Took back immediately to dealer at that time, my salesman, service manager, and I think it was a used car manager all said, well that didn't happen here, said there was nothing they could do, to call gm. This is a brand new truck that I just put 10000 down along with my 2018 2500hd crewcab with 30000 miles on it with no damage on it. They said they can't do anything for me to call gm. I'm 64 years old, retired, all I wanted was a brand new truck. Went to another gm dealership for an estimate, 1400.00 not counting a rental truck while it gets repaired. Again this is a brand new truck. Buyer beware, the repair is over 3% of invoice damage disclosure, which was not disclosed at time of purchase. At a loss, don't know what to do.

I just purchased a newly built 2023 Tahoe LT. My experience was by far the best compared to the other Chevrolet dealers in both Montgomery County and Frederick County. My salesman was Curt Bossaller. He was absolutely great. He wasn't pushy at all like the typical car's salesman. He was very informative about the whole process. He kept me updated as new things were happening. I definitely would recommend them if you're in the market for a vehicle.

The Salesman, Clayton was on top of everything from start to finish. He took the time to explain everything in the vehicle unlike some when they push you out cause they got the sale.

Review is for Criswell Jeep of Thurmont Michael H. "Very disappointing experience to say the least. I..." Very disappointing experience to say the least. I contacted Isabel (top highly reviewed new sales rep) based on reviews...not sure if I could give her 5 stars but I will just elaborate on the experience. I completed their application, gave her all the necessary documents to run credit so she can give me an exact pricing and lease payments on two 2021 Jeep Wranglers...note I started this process shortly after 9am when I knew they had no traffic. I live in PA and did not want to take a 5+ hour round trip. It was not until a bunch of misdirected excuses via text and delays about 3+ hours until I was texted a lease payment with a range, no concrete numbers, a sheet that had information I could of put together myself ( told the business mgr put this together ) this was a clear sign I wasted my time and our information. She told me she emailed me all the numbers....even asked me for my email...never got it. She ultimately took a picture and text it to me. Lol When I saw that many of their Wranglers were priced way lower than the country, I should of been more skeptical...oh yah their ePrice thingy is a joke ( 2k hidden markup that is listed last on their disclaimer of OTHER fees that ultimately bring their price right back up and more. By the way, per Isabel they quoted me their best lease payments on tier 1 pricing, 48 months, 10k miles...somehow their calculations were...let's say ridiculous! I'm no math genius but I have been in finance my entire career so I know a little bit about punching in numbers and such on a calculator. I have bought many cars over the years via the internet dept and due to Covid it made sense to secure the numbers so I can just go pick up the car and not waste hours...sadly that was a fantasy on a deal too good to be true!

I am new to the area and purchased a Tahoe in 2018. The service from Criswell Chevrolet in Thurmont is far and away the best I have ever experienced and I have owned many high-end cars over the years and dealt with dealerships that prided themselves on their service. None compared to Criswell in terms of their speed, efficiency, and helpfulness of their staff. I had to get a windshield replaced at Criswell in Rockville and they were fine, but again no comparison to Criswell Chevrolet Thurmont. Brandon Plakos (?) merits extra mention for his attention to detail to his clients. I will miss Criswell Chevrolet of Thurmont's service when I leave the area.

Won't honor prices on website. Said they we're giving me 3,800 in assistance yet that was nowhere to be found on the breakdown. When I didn't think I was getting a good deal I was essentially told take it or leave it so I said I'd think about it. Salesman messaged me a couple days later checking to see what I decided and when I texted back asking if there was anything extra they could do, I'd come in and but the car. No response. When I called later in the day the salesman confirmed he received my text but didn't respond. He told me that was the price. I mentioned he could have texted me back letting me know and that I felt like he didn't want my business. I thanked him and hung up. He left me a message saying he could see about getting $500 extra. I didn't think that would be enough to make it work so I said no thanks and he could delete my number. He responded calling me rude (whether I was or not, he lost me as a customer already so no need to take a shot at me. I complained to the manager who sided with the salesman but asked me to give him a chance to make it right and earn my business. Eventually their offer is $150 less than original. That's an insult. If $500 that he was going to try and get wasn't going to be enough, how was even less off going to earn my business. I declined the offer. If they were advertised as a "no haggle" dealer, then obviously I wouldn't have tried to haggle. I actually would never go to a "no haggle" dealer because I don't think they give you the best deals they can (based on Edmunds true car prices). Haggling got me nowhere but insulted by the salesman. After I asked the salesman to delete my number (twice) he contacted me again. Why a salesman (Rene Roy) felt the need to insult me and then ignore my requests is beyond me. Needless to say if you want to go to a dealer that treats you with respect and tries hard to earn your business, this is not the dealer to go to. I should have read the negative reviews before going. Obviously this dealer has had issues with other customers.

Kaity was an awesome sales lady and the finance was straight forward. This was well worth the hour drive.

My husband and I traveled two hours to look at a vehicle because of a price we were told over the phone by a salesman. We get there and the truck is getting cleaned up because they assumed we were already buying it without even a test drive. We go over things and take it for a ride, were interested so we talk numbers. Then get taken into finance where we put money down so our payment will be less. Nope, you HAVE to select a package which adds on thousands more to the price. W

Andre Harrison at Criswell Chevrolet did a great job of working with me on a great deal. He worked with me late at night on his time off to be sure I was able to quickly complete the purchase on a vehicle of my choice. Andre made things easy for me and I was comfortable with the purchasing process. Criswell Chevrolet has a large selection of priced to move vehicles that made the trip from Pennsylvania well worth it for me. Ask for Andre.

We purchased a GMC Terrain a couple weeks ago. Wonderful experience and no complaints. We worked with Mike Chuckerel (ask for him, you won't regret it). He was very straight forward, answered all our questions and then some, and gave us our bottom-line out the door price before we made the 2 hour round trip drive. There was no tacking on extra thousands in weird fees that no one could explain. Very straight forward and to the point. Which is what we like!!!... When we get my SUV paid off we will definitely be back for a truck for my husband. And we will definitely be requesting Mike again.
