Rowe works with holston family auto shop. Bad business. Overcharge for work. Doesn't get work done in time. Very unprofessional. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

This place is a MESS. So first of all my mom recommended him said he was a friend of the family. I took my car there just to get a estimate and when I got there he said that my car wasn't safe to drive because of my radiator but I was driving it for like a week already before going to see him, and he wanted me to keep it there, I refused because I didn't have a rental. So I went back after I talked to the insurance company about a rental car and dropped my car off, and remind you he still has yet to give me a estimate of how much it was gonna cost. So I left my car there anyways, and about two weeks passed and I called to check on my car and someone else answered, I asked to speak to robe, he told me he wasn't there and to call back in a hour. I am a very impatient person and something wasn't sitting with me right so I called my brother. He told me to call him on three way and I did, the same guy answered and my brother asked for robe, the guy immediately gave him the phone. My brother asked him was he done, how long he was going to take, and how much it was going to cost. He told my brother he was still waiting for parts and that he gave the insurance people a estimate of "3 something" lol right. So about two more weeks past and still wasn't done with my car. I went up there on my lunch break one day and he was sitting him his office, with his feet kicked up....chilling???? I asked him how long he was gonna take with my car and he told me he was still waiting for some parts. Today is June 24, he was had my car since May 29 almost a whole month. Today I went past again and asked him how long he was going to be, he told me he was almost gone and that he was waiting on one more part. And he asked me if the insurance people gave me the check yet, I said yeah, he said he needed it. Lmaooooooo so I went to talk to my dad and told him what happened, and he called him. He asked him how long he was gonna be he told him Friday, my dad then asked him did you ever give my daughter a estimate, he said no but he gave the insurance people a estimate of again "3 something" my dad said "3 something? What the estimate exactly" and he couldn't tell him. So my dad told him he was on his way up there and he told my dad he couldn't come today or something and my dad said okay, I'm gonna come before Friday because he was trying to get over. And when I walked into the shop and saw my car, the hood was a totally different color than my car. He still has my car at this moment and if I have any other words I will be sure to post again. Like these ladies said, DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN!!!! He is a swindler ladies, and it's sad.

I had a nightmare experience with this shop. Like Shanni O, I brought my Mercedes to Rowe after a car accident - front end damage. He assured me they'd do a great job and gave me an estimate of 2-3 weeks, depending parts delivery. I explained that I'd be paying out of pocket, and gave Mr. Rowe a $3850.00 deposit. Three months later, after repeated calls to the shop I was told my car was finally ready. When I picked the car up, it never drove the same as before the collision. The car overheated after driving for 2 miles, coolant exploded all over my friends driveway, causing cosmetic damage to the newly painted hood, paint and front grill. I called Rowe. He came to the scene, tweaked a hose connection and replaced the coolant. Over the next few weeks the car continued to overheat. Eventually, the overheating caused fatal engine damage, a cracked head gasket. That repair cost me 5K at a local auto mechanic shop. The mechanic in the bays next to Rowe's shop told me that he takes advantage of female customers. He said women are constantly out front arguing with Rowe over his work, payment, etc. I know I've had my fill of this god-awful shop! The customer service is horrible! Their work is worst, and the shop does not stand by the work! I have recently contacted Maryland States Attorney to file a complaint against Rowe Autobody and my next step is Civil Court. Ladies, do yourself a favor and avoid this shop at all costs... it's simply not worth the headache, or the extra costs that you will surely incur.
