I took my vehicle in for a warranty covered repair 12/12/23, and the warranty company required pics to be sent. I had to constantly call to inquire about the status of my vehicle as they (Midas) did not take any initiative to call me with updates. Each time I called, they had to send the photos. It was not until 12/13 that when I sent my daughter there, did I find out they were not able to upload the pics, Midas did not bother to communicate that to me. My daughter took the pics, and they were sent to the warranty company. Matthew(manager) is the worst. He has no people skills at all, a totally nonchalant attitude, and disposition that the owner, Tony Grimm, admitted to being aware of when we spoke. Aterra(another manager) who in the beginning provided great customer service as she traveled to Waldorf in her personal vehicle to pick up parts needed due to a shipping delay the owner's request. I received a call from Aterra on 12/16 at 3:39 telling me that my vehicle was ready for pickup, but I only had 15 minutes to get to the shop, due to the short notice, I was not able to get there in that time frame as I needed to arrange transportation. I picked up my vehicle on 12/18, and upon my arrival I asked for a breakdown of why the cost of the "shop supplies " was so high, I expected to pay additional for shop supplies, but not $50 in shop supplies. I requested a discount in the shop supplies due to the poor service I'd received as far as being kept updated on the status on my repair( not too much to ask), it's called customer service recovery. I was told by Mr. Grimm(the owner) that they would not discount the cost. I stated while checking out that the entire shop would receive a bad review. Aterra became agitated and began to get loud and curse that she'd used her own vehicle and went to Waldorf to get parts. That was per the owner's request. I was appalled at the lack of professionalism received at this location. Mr. Grimm, as well as the Camp Springs Midas staff acted as if they had done me a favor.

I really appreciate the customer service at Midas. I was in search for new tires for my truck and settled at Midas with an alignment back in March 2023. After a few months, the front tires began to wear for some odd reason. I took my truck back to Midas and they replaced the tires with new tires. I then drove it on the beltway and my steering wheel began to shake. I went back again and Jay, the mechanic was very adamant about making sure the problem was corrected, and it was. Thank you Midas!It is very difficult to find good trustworthy auto places these days. I am happy to know that Midas is about the satisfaction of the customer.

Went to this location multiple times do to me being right next to where I work. At first their price was reasonable for an alignment for 150$, but when it came back for brake pad installation it was $315 I already had my brake pads just needed it installed. Went for a crank shaft pulley to be replaced they wanted 600$ already had my part from gm. Everything no warranty except the alignment.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I typically go to Annapolis but I recently moved to this area. I figured it would be convulsions to try a closer location. I would not come here again.During check in, the gentleman left. He didn't say he'll be back or even acknowledge me. I wanted patiently and he was gone for maybe 5 minutes. Several team members used the lobby door as an exit and not a single person greeted me.One thing I did like was, when he finally sat down, he told me straight away what to expect for this visit along with the price. He also told me what to expect for my next visit and which visit would need the most things done.The previous locations I've been to also have coupons ready to use. This gentleman didn't have any nor did he suggest to look them up. I looked one up, but this is the first time they didn't try to work in the customers favor.Also, Google maps took me to a private road entrance.After visit, they finished my car pretty quickly. I spent about 1.5 hour's here despite the appointment and waiting for my car in the lobby. They brought my car around and it took maybe 30 minutes before they came back to finalize everything as far as payment. They ended up just doing a basic oil change.It wasn't busy, only 1 car in the garage prior to my visit. And I was the only one waiting in the lobby.This shop would be good for walk-ins based off my experience today. Just expect an 1+ hr wait.

The cashier attempted to charge me $340 for an oil change. I paid $140 a year ago for the same vehicle. Felt I was being had. I have multiple cars I have taken there. I will no longer go there anymore

The garage was empty except one car and I’m told I’m next. There were three mechanics and one person working. Over an hour passes by and my car is still parked where I left it. THE GARAGE WAS EMPTY EXCEPT ONE CAR. After an additional 20 mins of see one person work and no cars in the garage I asked for my keys and left. I’ll just go somewhere else

I would have loved the tech to put down paper before sitting in my truck with a dirty cover suit on but the manager was knowledgeable and they all are trust worthy. Recommended easy 8/10 price wiseService: Oil change

They provide a warm sense of customer service but they seem inexperienced when it come to drive stick shift. One guy stalled out my manual mustang and looked petrified and concerned, then I asked him “how did you stall out my car? Are you really experienced with stick shifts?” He’s said “yes I have 3 stick shift at home.” Well it most certainly didn’t seem like it. Plus’s when they took it to the back to check it out the about 1 minute after and another guy quickly marches back to me seeming rather antsy and worried and says “oh no we can take you mustang here you have to take it somewhere else”. I asked “what’s wrong? You seem worried, like why are you rushing to tell me this and then say I have to leave? I then say, “ I’m not going to report you just calm down” He then tells me ”you’re the one I don’t trust you” then tells me he can’t help me anymore. And don’t even get me start on what happened last time with a different mechanic there…

Excellent work ethics and reasonably priced. I arrived early for an oil change. The work was started promptly and they performed some checks that alerted me some problems with battery. I like the company. I will go back to have more work done when needed.
