Bought a car and starting experiencing problems with the tires immediately. After bringing the car back and the manager taking it and addressing the issue, I was assured the light on the dashboard would go off….it didn’t. Came back spoke with the awkward light skin gentleman (can’t remember his name) in the front that keeps pulling his shirt down for some reason.
He set me up with their mechanic named Abraham who has a hole in the wall shop across the street from the dealer. He didn’t repair a thing hooked something up to the car and manually turned off the light. Of course the light came back on the next day. He gave me his number to call…(of course no answer). So now I’m back at the dealership to get them to get in contact with him. I get set up ANOTHER appointment. The day of the appointment comes and he proceeds to tell me I have to pay a 75 dollar diagnostic fee to even look at the car. I tell him I’m not paying a dime I’ve had the car less than a week and it’s had the issue since in the lot.
Had to take it to pepboys just for them to tell me almost right away. The mechanic is incompetent because how did no one at the dealer or the mechanic they have, not know the model car I have doesn’t even have the sensors that their original mechanic told me he had to purchase and was trying to charge me to check. Utter nonsense.
Then last night June 13, 2024 the app they had me download to track the car gives me an alert right before the car shuts off on me. They make you download an app called “LoJack go.” I get a battery level alert and was stuck on the side of the road for hours because the insurance they work with “keystone” full coverage DOESN'T include roadside assistance you have to pay extra for that. So I had to pay 120 for a roadside service to come help me. I’m currently in the dealership now getting a new battery since they sold me the car with a bad battery.
UNLESS YOU ARE DOWN ON YOUR LUCK DON’T DO IT. JUST GO TO A REGULAR DEALERSHIP!!!
You can tell they don’t care by the generic response to every single review where someone experienced an issue. Currently looking into how to trade my vehicle in and haven’t had it a month SMFH.
I guess I’ll keep updating this every time I experience nonsense with this dealership as a paper trail so this company can’t say they didn’t do me dirty. So last month the vehicle I purchased doesn’t start because of course after taking it to the pep boys across the street they tell me that the starter is shot on the car that I’ve had for less than 6 months.
They sent me a number to some foolish call center just for them to tell me I’ve driven the car over 300 miles so they can’t help me. I’m go to work every day and have children. Who wouldn’t drive over 300 miles in over a month. So more deflection on their end of course it’s your fault for having the faulty automobile not theirs for selling it to you. This has been nothing but a headache since I purchased my vehicle and there’s an issue LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE MONTH.
Today I get in my car and the check engine light comes on because it’s drivetime why wouldn’t it come on after having it for such a short period of time. Take it to the the autozone to get diagnosed and the catalytic converter is bad. Is the catalytic converter covered OF COURSE NOT so more money out of my pocket for this faulty vehicle that they sold me that’s had issues since before I left the lot with it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND JUST GO TO A REPUTABLE DEALERSHIP. It’s not worth the headache and all that you’ll lose. Now I’m on the hook for this 2014 vehicle that they sold me for almost 26,000 and they aren’t willing to help me get into another vehicle. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!!!

I am so grateful for Marcus and Drivetime. I came here after being ripped off by another dealership not knowing what was going to happen. Everyone was really nice, patient and honest. My experience was smooth and detailed. Im truly happy with my car and deal.
