For some reason I've noticed some of the employees are disgruntled about working here.They aren't happy employees and if you take a little bit of time and watch them. You can feel they're displeasure about working here.

This grocery store needs some work, they use to be great about a year ago or so and now they suck. You have to check everything you buy to make sure it's not out of date and the employees, well most are just rude and always on their phones. And the produce just sucks. Everything is rotten usually... I'll travel to kennies and pay more before I shop at food kitty

Having frequented Food Lion in Taneytown since its inception, I must express my recent disappointment with the shopping experience. Despite the store's commendable product selection, its overall atmosphere has much room for improvement. Primarily, the employees' demeanor has notably declined, exuding disinterest and lack of motivation, which detracts from the enjoyment of shopping. Moreover, the continuous restocking of shelves presents a challenge in navigating the aisles smoothly. Additionally, the frequent unavailability of various items adds to the inconvenience. Lastly, the cleanliness of the store needs to meet expectations. As a food retail establishment, tidiness is essential to uphold customer satisfaction. While Food Lion in Taneytown boasts a diverse range of products, the diminishing customer service quality, perpetual restocking disruptions, and inadequate cleanliness tarnish the overall shopping experience.

2 weeks ago I was at this food Lion
there was a guy stocking in the dairy section I needed something in the area that he was in so I use my manners and I said excuse me apparently he was in a foul mood and he took it out on me because he threw the box down and mumbled something and I said to him did you not hear me sir I said excuse me and then he started yelling and screaming at me and I asked him not to speak to me like that his response was he'll do as he pleases. I did speak to his manager the manager did go over and say something to him but if I never have to shop here again then I will not and I would never recommend it to anyone. I do not need to be treated as your punching bag because you're in a foul mood no customer deserves that.

Good grocery store for the area. Typically have many items you would need for shopping trips. Sometimes store is busy but can get through the checkout quickly.

Tried to get a job for this company and instead got the runaround, they say they need employees yet they don't hire people who want to work! Sad business.. I don't recommend

Our household have been loyal Food Lion customers for years since their prices r the most affordable locally. Sadly they no longer carry some items that we frequently purchase, like Lipton's loose leaf tea. A few of the employees r pleasant & make u feel welcomed. On this evening's shopping trip there were gnats flying around their loose onion section.

Friendly cashiers and baggers. Easy to find everything. Wish they offered their own generic brands; it seems they are moving their brand out of the market.

This location has young, friendly cashiers. But I bought two bags of cheese, that were bagged with dried goods and I didn't think anything of it until it was too late. So I burned $15, because of bagging
