There's too many establishments in the D.C. Metro area that I feel appears to have certain products that I feel seriously are being Illegally tampered with and bogusly distributed to the overall public attacking the health and well-being of the masses, and I can't seem to figure out what's going on, while of course the Nation's Borders remain wide open for these new-comers, who's pushing to acquiring experience employment and more over others, ridding themselves of the competition, or following people around annoying them like everyone who's got a permanently tanned derriere is obviously part of the Democratic "Woke Mob" establishment, so that's what I guess is their lame excuse for these dumpster fire extremes talking about particular characters yelling about some DEI propaganda, yet playing things out as Hypocritical as possible!

First time in the grocery store. After visiting the Takoma farmers market area I opted to walk here to find a pie crust rather than driving to a big box retailer. I had my dog with me so he wasn’t trapped in the car to get some fresh air. The kind woman at the front promoting her granola sampled me some as I walked through the front. I asked a clerk where I could find pie crusts and he pointed to the rear. On my way out an employee stocking the cold aisle told me dogs weren’t allowed only service, which I understood, clearly didn’t know, and proceeded to the register to check out and leave. Dog wasn’t rambunctious. The clerk followed me to the register and told the clerk who was about to ring me up not to do it. It would have taken as long to ring me up as did the argument that pursued afterwards. I had to leave my dog outside. I understand the rules and regulations, I did not understand the customer service. Leave my dog outside, alone, unaccompanied, in the rain none the less was a viable solution? Dogs are getting stolen lately. What started out as a casual experience ended terribly as I will never attend this store again. TERRIBLE customer service.

I've been shopping at TPSS for over 20 years. I appreciate that simplicity and feel of a local market. There's a variety of fruits and veggies and natural medicine.

Fun staple of Takoma Park. You can find alterative staples for cooking and breadbaking, real buttermilk, etc. As well as local fruits and vegetables.

Best place inside the beltway to buy fresh vegetables and fruits. It is like your farmers market available every day.

They never disappoint! Such a cute, quirky little grocery store. They have so many things that others don't, which is surprising since they are so small.

I've been going there for over 20 years and it's gotten better, slowly but steadily. We are fortunate to have it.
