I had a great experience at this location. Pickup was quick & easy. Cameron helped me at pick up explained everything very politely & professionally. Inspected the car & was on my way. Drop off was the same. I lucked up and Cameron was there to handle my drop off too.**If you use this location be patient with the employees. they seem short staffed but everyone was working.

Btw... the email address given to provide Lisa more information about the situation does not work. Email bounced back from different email addresses. Enterprise, stop pretending.

Only because I cannot give it 0 stars. My insurance company set up the reservation due to an accident that was not my fault. Enterprise called me to confirm the reservation. The employee tells me that they do not have a size comparable to my vehicle (Premium) but they do have another size vehicle (SUV). He quotes me the rate of the vehicle, which is lower than the insurance reimbursed rate and I accept.I get to Enterprise and the guy proceeds to tell me that I will need to pay an additional $25.00 a day above the rate they told me. Excuse me! No sir, my insurance is paying for this claim. I call the insurance company to let them know what's going on and she gives them a call to see if they can honor the insurance rate. She calls me back to tell me that they said that they cannot honor the insurance rate, they have to honor to rate I was quoted on the phone because that's the rate I agreed to. Okay, no problem because the rate I was quoted and agreed to on the phone is lower that the insurance rate.I go back inside and the gentleman helping me says, we have to honor the rate you agreed to. Okay, no problem. Well his colleague told him something different about our conversation on the phone and once I clarified what I was told about the rate, he asks his colleague what he told me. The colleague said, she's correct. That is what I quoted her. The gentleman looks at me and simply says, nah- we can't do that. But you told the insurance adjuster you have to honor the rate I accepted over the phone. He goes outside and comes back with his Manager, Ms. Martha Aschale. This is where the experience turns rude and what prompted me to write this review. Although the gentleman said he couldn't help, he was never rude. Despite already knowing the issue she asks, how can I help you? I explain again and she says, we cannot honor the insurance rate because of depreciation.... Huh, Ma'am I don't need to know about depreciation. All the while, the adjuster is still on the phone and tells me that enterprise makes adjustments and honors their insurance rate all the time and doesn't understand why this location is being so difficult. Their company does a lot of business at Enterprise.Ms. Aschale again bluntly repeats we are not honoring the rate for that vehicle. Now, she has the nastiest scowl on her face and is just being rude. The gentleman then says, I can give you a pickup truck. No thank you, but wait, isn't the pick up truck's rate higher than the insurance rate? Then that means, you "can" honor the insurance rate on other vehicle sizes. hmmm Besides, you just rented out two cars that are closer in size to my vehicle. I ask if they have anything else that is smaller and Ms. Aschale snaps at me and says, we don't have any vehicles. Now I ask to speak with the Manager over this area. Ms. Aschale looks at me and says, "I am the Manager". I then ask to speak with the Manager she reports to. She lets me know that I cannot speak to her because all she has is her cell phone number and it's private. Okay, I don't need the number, you call her. She proceeds to scribble her managers "email address" on a card and lets me know I can email her. I verify the address with her and finds that the last name was spelled incorrectly, intentionally no doubt. Needless to say, we ended up having to drive to the New Carrollton location to pick up a vehicle that the insurance agent located for us.I was warned in the past to STAY AWAY from the Takoma Park location but I went there thinking it would be okay because the insurance company actually set up the rental. If you can rent someplace else please do, if you want good customer service that is. As a loyal Enterprise customer, my preferred location is the Bowie location. Mr. Gamble and his entire staff are GREAT! Today, New Carrollton Enterprise saved the day! Thank you! Even after we had a smaller vehicle, they offered us a larger one that had come in while we were there. I wasted almost 2 hours this morning at

I had an excellent experience with this location upon pickup and drop off and when calling on the morning before I picked up the car. Everyone was kind, professional and focused on the customers.

My experience with Enterprise was great because of Martha she explained in detail and took me through all steps and I got a great deal. I will be renting another vehicle with Enterprise again from this location. Thank you Martha❗️6496 New Hampshire AveTakoma Park 20912

If you cannot have more than 1 person working the location should be shut down. No reason for such poor service, lack of communication, and extremely long wait times. I've already been waiting 30+ minutes for my reservation and have gotten 1 update. That update was that she would contact someone. She was then on the phone with someone else about a completely different situation. They do not deserve to be open.

No one ever picks up the phone at this location. I am trying to call because I have a.reservation and I want to confirm that I can come into this location and pick up my rental car. But none of these enterprise location ever picks up the phone. This is horrible service. The corporate should take action to ensure all the offices provide better customer service.

They gave us a car with outdated registration and we got the car towed. The very unprofessional branch manager told us that she will revoke the contract and ,if we won't return the keys, we will be charged. She didn't say a single sorry but acts as if this is us,the customer's fault. We will be trying to resovle this problem which might be followed by a law suit.

Well I hate to say it, because I had high hopes for this location. it's in walking distance of my house, and they did accommodate me the first time I visited with something they apparently don't do anymore. However the same issue I faced the first time I ordered a pickup truck from them, I had the second time I ordered one from them... Just much worse. The person who I am sure is the same person from my first rental left a very rude sounding voicemail on my phone last minute on a Saturday stating she doesn't have the pickup truck, and I needed to contact them if I still wanted to get a vehicle first thing Monday.I had no opportunity to call anyone since they left me no time on Saturday when they closed early, and they're closed Sundays. I called first thing Monday at their opening time and heard the phone pick up, and immediately I was placed on hold for almost 20 minutes. Finally the Rude customer service rep answered stating she did not have a pickup truck for me. She claimed she had pickup trucks that were all returned damaged, or were reserved for other customers.I was previously an enterprise employee about 9 years ago in Wheaton MD, so from my recollection, when vehicles are not available, other locations can provide vehicles, and vehicles can be brought from other locations to the location that was connivant for the customer. The staff member stated in the rudest, not caring tone possible, Enterprise no longer dose that, and if I wanted a pickup truck Arlington VA always has pickup trucks, so she could move my renovation there. So I asked. If a customer without a vehicle now wants to rent a vehicle from Enterprise that was available to reserve at their desired location, they have to travel outside of their state somehow to rent that vehicle? She provided no answer, and stated she did not want to go in circles with me over the issue I had.She eventually stopped answering questions and hung up the phone.I took my on personal vehicle on the trip without any other solution and ended up damaging my vehicle due to wear. I was honestly trying to avoid that by getting a newer vehicle that could handle adding all those miles. If all of Enterprise is like this now, this company is garbage. please people, avoid.

I am a senior citizen living in the DC area. An attempted theft was made on my car which is a Kia and I was absolutely devastated and without rental on my insurance policy as I never thought I would need it and of course due to the hundreds of thefts of Kia's no parts available for quite some time, I called Enterprise and lucky me -- I spoke with the assistant manager, Lauryn Kinard who eased my mind and stress and worked with me to get me into a car with the rates granted which would be covered through Allstate, my insurance company. This was amazing as I still work and am on SS, to boot. Her professionalism, kindness and caring manner eased my mind and my pocketbook as well. She is an amazing person and manager who communicates clearly and with compassion and a beautifully wonderful heart. Lauryn possesses the utmost qualities that you want to have in an employee at your company. She listens to your concerns and needs and comes up with a solution that works for your customers. Her cusomter service qualities are outstanding. Although, at the last minute I was called from the auto repair service to say my car was ready to my amazement as it had been in the shop for almost a month, if I ever need to rent a car again, I will call Enterprise in Takoma Park. And, I live 5 minutes from the nearest Enterprise right here in DC but I promise you I will not entertain the thought of calling any other location. I do hope that you recognize and know what a true asset you have in Lauryn. She deserves to be recognized by corporate. I plan on sending all of those I know to this location. Thank you so much, Lauryn. You are the BEST!!!!! Sheila W.

Their system went down and we couldn't get a rental car. It was down for a while before we finally gave up. Take your business to a different company if you can!
