Safety inspection done here for a salvage title on a 2002 S10. The shop was very honest and up front. Only quoted repairs for items necessary for safety inspection and did not try to run the bill up. Very impressive! Will patronize again.

I keep forgetting to write Lou a review. Lou is the most dependable mechanic I've worked with in the local area. I've limped my camaro in, towed another vehicle in, had a cooling system blow up near his shop on my Jeep and coasted in, and some scheduled repairs for transfer case work, transmission cooler lines and a couple other odds and ends. Lou gets it done. Honest, fair, and good quality work. My wife is a little bit untrusting of mechanics in general after some bad experiences we had elsewhere, but she trusts Lou. Doesn't matter if I'm heading through the door, or she is; we get treated right, and no B.S. Mr. Mielke is a straight shooter. Oh! He also does MD state inspections.Services: Auto glass services

Lou knows cars and their problems. Don’t be fooled by a lackluster building tucked away in Gamber off 32, this shop offers world class knowledge and excellent service. I was quoted a job, it was fixed in a single day, and even turned out to be cheaper than what I was originally quoted. He reached out to let me know of additional issues that were definitely real and not contrived for a bigger bill. Can’t recommend enough.He’s got to be doing something right since he’s been in business for 40 years.

I brought a car in to Lou Mielke's for a Maryland state inspection. They completed it on time and seemed like a reputable family-owned garage. I will definitely try them for future repairs.

Our family has been going to Lou for thirty years and there is no one else I trust with my vehicles. He is honest and to the point. You tell Lou you need new tires, he will tell you how many more miles you have left on them so you don't waste money. Asking him to do a once over on a vehicle puts your mind at ease knowing he didn't see anything wrong with it. When I moved overseas and my A/C went up, I waited until I got back to the states for him to work on it. Lived in NY and would still bring it to him. I live in AA County now and still take it there. Even had it towed there for a mechanical issue. There is no one else like this, if you can understand he may be short because he is always busy, that is just Lou.
