“I came to the NFCU on Feb 6, 2024. Deposited a tax refund check and experienced a small set back with the image reading through the ATM. The next day I noticed the check was not pending. I called NFCU spoke with several associates and was told that a check had to be reissued. However when I went into the branch and spoke with Ms. Terri Kipp (branch leader). “This has been my bank for many years now. I actually opened my first account with them in high school. There's something comforting in knowing I'm banking with a federal credit union. I bought my first car and used them for my loan. I've done a lot of big financial life moments with them. They have a few "sister branches" that you can go to if you don't want to go all the way to dc (if you're not a local). The customer service is hit or miss, but for the most part they get the job done. I had one issue with a lady named missy when I was trying to get the title back for my car after paying it off. She was very rude and I ended up calling a manager to get it settled. Other than that situation i like banking with them. The location is beautiful, can't beat being in a senate office building! !”
