“This store is very conveniently located near where I work. They have regular groceries as well as made to order food, and their bakery is absolutely amazing. They have a large case of doughnuts that are freshly made. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Also, they have an attached liquor/package store, so you can avoid making a separate trip if you are shopping for a party or celebration.Lastly, they have a cool points program where you earn points as you shop that can be cashed in for products like knife sets and stuff.”

“This review is in regard to the deli and renders catering services: we ordered chicken nugget trays and a fresh fruit tray for a party today. The nuggets were so yummy, everyone enjoyed them and the fruit was so fresh and delicious. The prices were extremely affordable and the staff was very helpful. “My family comes here often to shop, but only because it's the closest store to our house. They don't have the best selection, especially when it comes to healthier options. The store also is almost always empty, which can be nice because you don't have to deal with lines but it can make the experience feel kind of desolate. That said, the store is always very clean and the staff is friendly. I wouldn't necessarily recommend coming here, but I wouldn't caution against it either.”

“This food lion is a million times better than one closest to me. The place is spotless and the employees are so friendly! As with food lions in general, the prices are so reasonable. In these times, any savings helps! With my MVP card and store sales, I saved about $20. That's like a third tank of gas these days, hahah!”

“Yesterday we went to another grocery store about a mile down the street and the girl at that bakery was extremely rude and told us they needed 48 hours notice for cupcakes. So, I called ShopRite and they were extremely helpful and made cupcakes for us the next day like we needed for our gender reveal. Everyone that helped us was super friendly and the customer service was exceptional. Our friends and family all asked where we got the cupcakes from because they were delicious and so cute. On top of that they were cheap. We will definitely be going back to this bakery for our future needs. Thanks for making our special day even better!!”

“This store is like a little walmart, they have just about anything you can think of just condensed to fit a much smaller square footage of land. The company did a good job getting good quality products for reasonable prices, especially considering the convenience. The store is a little understaffed, but who isn't these days. That being said, the store is stocked well, the staff are friendly, though the line can get to be a little long at times. They work with PayPal, by and Ibotta, so they are definitely worth a checkout.”

“I called to order 2 dozen cupcakes for my daughter's gender reveal party. The woman in the bakery dept was very nice and helpful in choosing particular color combinations and shades. They were ready when I went to pick up and I didn't have to wait even a minute. Even cheaper than I expected!”

I quite often bring my elderly neighbor there to shop, and on several occasions, I’ve seen her go out of her way to help my neighbor; making her aware of ‘specials’, making her aware of items in the sale papers, helping her with using the self serve checkout (if she wishes to use it); well, I could go on and on, but, needless to say, Elizabeth is PRICELESS!!!”

“Love the staff. You get to know lots of them pretty well after a few visits. Their produce is priced competitively and is fresh as anywhere. Their meat department is first rate. If you watch the sales you can do very well even when considering the big box stores. The selection is very good. I love to cook and appreciate their selection of sauces and vinegar's. I have purchased their bay scallops time to time and even those are good and fresh. Oh...also great dairy department. It took a bit to get used to the new layout of the expanded dairy and egg department but now I like it just fine. They have more variety of cheese than anyone in the area.”

I love not having to go 20 or 30 minutes to Walmart Walgreens Safeway ShopRite xcetera. “High's gas stations will do exactly what is required of them by taking payment, pumping gas you select, and giving you a receipt; done and done. As for the store aspect, we only needed gas so we didn't go into the store, so I can't say one way or another about that. The only thing wrong about this setup is that it's labeled "'High's of Baltimore" when we are a good distance from Baltimore and I put in the suggestion for a "Madonna" location instead since that's where we are.”
