“Staff was friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. They quickly took my dog back for his scheduled surgery, so there was little to no wait time. Unfortunately, my dog was unable to proceed with surgery due to a heart condition. I was thankful the Drs and staff explained the danger it could cause my pooch if proceeded with surgery. “We moved to Kent Island from Olney in late October and in late November, we had to say goodbye to our 14 year old Goldendoodle. We were going to drive the hour to the vet we have been using for over 30 years but decided it would be too overwhelming for us and our dog. We ended up at Chesapeake Veterinary Hospital and I just need to say that they were wonderful! From the first phone call and visit until we left our fur baby after the procedure,.
