Beautiful marina!! The marina, employees, and the grounds show pride in ownership. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! Our kids love coming to the marina!! It’s a family friendly marina with lots of activities and things for the kids to do. One trip to Spring Cove marina and you’ll have a hard time going anywhere else.

We kept boats at Spring Cove Marina for approximately six years. We will never return to that marina and warn you to avoid it as well. The marina changed ownership and it has been a very negative experience ever since. One of these owners of the marina called us laughing to tell us our boat was damaged by another slip holder and to come to the marina right away. We were not met by anyone when we rushed over to assess the damage. We flagged a dock hand down who also laughed stating it was not as much damage as the last boat this person hit. This nightmare ended our boating season early in 2022 and to this day the damage has not been fixed properly. The owners have never inquired whether or not this has been resolved. There is no longer any security or any functional cameras monitoring your boat. On two occasions we returned to our slip to discover our lines/ropes were stolen. Several times we arrived to find our sliding glass door was ajar letting the air conditioning or heat to escape for who knows how long. This door takes much effort to open so we do not know who was entering our boat. We had the fear someone would cause more damage trying open our locked door as that happened to another Spring Cove Marina customer on the marina property. We noticed this stopped happening once we installed cameras on our boat. However, when our boat was not in our slip, we could not see who was stealing our lines. The pilings and docks are dangerous. The pilings are so loose they wobble as you walk and try to board your boat using a finger pier. Some of these pilings are so short, you cannot see them while trying to dock. They also hit the sides of your boat when the tide changes and your lines need to be adjusted. Nobody will adjust your lines or contact you to come down to the marina. With the pilings being so low, it is also very hard to remove or grab your lines as they are below the rub rail. The nails on the severely splintered docks stick up, will cut your feet, stub your toes and cause tripping. This also contributes to boards popping up when you stand on one end. The power is inconsistent to the pedestals. The power will go out or surge regularly. If there is a storm, the power will be out for a great length of time. This required technical support, many system reboots to repower our boat and new batteries all at our expense. After returning to our boat and discovering lights and televisions turned on, we set up cameras on our boat to rule out trespassers. We discovered the power surged regularly causing our lights and tv's to come on. We also noticed the meter spun quickly even with nothing plugged into the pedestal. Our electric bills were outrageous even when were not in our slip very much as we also had a slip at another location. We were also charged for electric they did not provide that resulted in another costly technician reboot and set of four new batteries. While the boatyard was still owned by Spring Cove Marina's current owners, they increased the charges significantly for repairs, work and maintenance. The improperly applied Propspeed and bottom paint that we were overcharged for did not even last seven months. We also paid for repairs that were not performed properly, leaving our generator and stereo inoperable. When we inquired why the technician was not returning to our boat to repair them, we were told our technician was pulled off of our boat to work on the Spring Cove Marina owner's personal boats, therefore our generator and stereo where never repaired even though we paid for the repairs. The accounting practices at this marina are suspect and will cost you with lots of surprises. Even when you leave this marina, you will receive bogus bills. These are only a few examples of our negative experiences. Sadly however, our experiences seem to be similar to so many others here in our boating community. While the marina may boast nice amenities, you will pay for it with the possibility of damages to your boat or person and you will be overcharged for it to boot. With excitement we really wanted the new

Under the old ownership this marina use to be such a good family place. Sad to say we went back a few times and it’s gone down hill hugely with the new owners. It seems like he just wants it to be a frat party place where all you do is drink and pay for over priced drinks at the bar. Not the Spring cove we fell in love with years ago. Not to mention the dock are some of the worst I’ve seen and power is 50/50. Would not recommend for family’s anymore.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Gull Cottage located in Spring Cove Marina. We spent 4 nights and explored the marina and surrounding area. The home is very clean, beautifully decorated and tons of space to spread out. There are a lot of large windows to enjoy the views. The marina grounds are very well kept. There is a large swimming pool and bar that has entertainment. They have a cute store with souvenirs, food and necessities. Everyone we met were so courteous and helpful. The surrounding area has museums, shops and great restaurants. We hope to go back very soon!

Just left the marina. We had a great time this weekend with friends. We had 2 boats on B dock. The employees and owner were very helpful and quick to accommodate our requests for shuttle/ golf cart rides, bikes usage and docking and gas help. The pool and bar, grilling areas and bathroom are very well maintained and very relaxing with cool music playing in background. Only think I would say needs some improvement is the food quality and delivery of food. This is our 2nd year visiting and will definitely come again. Promise and Michelle outstanding employees!!!

I found Spring Cove Marina in 1985 when I bought my first boat. It was a fantastic find. 39 years later and it has only gotten better. Evey year there are new amenities. From an awesome pool and pool bar to the picnic grounds with grills, it's hard to imagine a cleaner, more beautiful Marina on the bay. The staff treat you like family. The individual restrooms, and washer/dryers are great. Bicycles to borrow, boat rentals and a local shuttle help make it a destination on the Chesapeake Bay.

Unfortunately, Spring Cove has changed hands in the last year and it's not the place it used to be. Almost all the previous staff was let go or quit and it feels completely different. Some of the new staff was incredibly rude to our guests, bar prices are way up along with everything else, and the docks need repair. It's still a pretty spot with decent facilities. Hopefully the new owners will bring it back to the amazing friendly place it used to be.

The Seafarers YC of Annapolis had the opportunity to go to the Spring Cove Marina located in Solomons Island Maryland this past Memorial Day Weekend. Marina Manager Jim Pickett and his staff were most accommodating and friendly. We are looking forward to our return cruise there, we had a great time! Oh yes, the coctails at the bar were exceptional!!

So apparently there is another Joe Melo trying to be me. Well I'm here to tell you I'm the only real deal Joe Melo, and Spring cove hooked us up in a time of need. Pulled our boat, sea trialed and gave us an accurate description of what was wrong. Everyone from Derrick, Johnathan, Mark, and Katie. While our boat was being pulled Derrick took us for a tour of the facility and omg what an amazing place.5 star all day everyday, class act place.

Do not dinghy into the marina - especially after they close for the day. They lock your dinghy with no note or contact information on who to call to unlock leaving you stranded at night with no means to return to your boat.

My family had an amazing time here. We so thoroughly enjoyed the pool, bar, staff, proximity to restaurants, shuttle service, a great local concert within walking distance, really nice private facilities with showers, and of course, gorgeous views everywhere. Absolutely perfect destination, and undoubtedly a new annual trip for us. Thank you Spring Cove Marina!!! See you soon!

Marina was absolutely amazing. The amenities are best by far, the hospitality of the owners was wonderful, they go well above and beyond to make sure everyone has a smile on their face and is pleased. Overall experience I would give it 10 stars.
