Usually pretty good gas prices compared to other places in town. Have only been inside once or twice and wasn't all that impressed with it but seemed like it would be good if you needed something and didn't want to drive to a Walmart or somewhere.

Friendly staff and great deli but just a lot of expired products on the shelves and sometimes the meat section is too old as well.

I had a terrible time with the tall blond cashier. She blamed me for making a 'stink' over a salad, which I did not do. I asked how did I do that, and she couldn't say. I asked her to please not talk about me that way because it made me feel bad. We got into words and she told me to leave. She said I was 'fishing' for an argument, which I wasn't. I'm very upset over this experience, especially after she also double-charged me for an item. I got to my car, looked at my receipt, and in a nice way returned to ask about it. I never once got out of line, but she did, first by blaming me for what I didn't do. It was just her impression I raised a 'stink.' I don't do that in any case, nor do I fish for arguments. This was a horrible experience for me. She said that 98% of people like her, well now I'm one of the 2% who don't! I'm not coming back.

Have shopped there for almost a year now. I work on Market. We have brought “expired” goods to their attention before & was never corrected. This time, I’m in a rush on my 15 & go to get a protein shake. Sitting IN THE FRONT ROW of the cooler, a protein cold brew coffee mix, that is Best Used By 12/19/2019. So if you can’t sell it? I guess move it to the front. Everyone please be careful & check EVERY date on what you purchase from them. I will be extending further to see what assistance I can seek, as they have no intent to get rid of. TJ won’t answer the phone, voicemail is full, the health department is next. Please please be safe guys. I know this will not be the last encounter with this. I’m now missing time from work & have to leave early today, affecting my paycheck, because they would rather make people get sick in numerous ways at work, then lose profit & trash 3 YEAR OLD EXPIRED DAIRY. Absolutely disgusting. Not to mention, the gum is ALSO a year old too.

TJ is committed to be the local grocery store for Snow Hill. There is a great delicatessen with the best fried chicken. Anything you request, TJ will try to please. The adjoining Town Market Basket sells beer, wine & liquor.

Good selection & friendly staff.But closing early because it's slow ... not cool when you're the only grocery store in town.I chose NOT to go to grab dinner groceries in Princess Anne (where I was @ 6:00) and come back to SH Foodrite to get what I needed, only to find the store closed @ 7:00 instead of 8:00pm.Not cool ... ?

I remember what the place used to be and they've done a fantastic job of improving it. Some prices are high on some items and some are really low. the management rotates in products so there's something different and new all the time. I really like this place

Beyond my expectations. A large selection of food and goods like ice and firewood. A lot of niche and fancier food options. Friendly easygoing staff. They take masks and social distancing seriously.

I shopped there this afternoon and found everything I needed...milk, meat, frozen vegetables, bananas, water! Very well stocked! Great store!
