This location is the worst Walgreens I have ever visited. The customer service was nasty and not accommodating to my needs as a customer. Staff did not have accurate information about services rendered and times of operation. This location always has long lines and inadequate staffing for the demands of business.

Lines are long sometimes but you'll find that at most retail pharmacies. Staff is attentive and so helpful, making it worth the wait.

I don't really go to the store part but the pharmacy is always amazing! The staff is great and always so kind and helpful. But calling can be a hassle to speak to someone because they are always so busy! But when you do get though they are so pleasant to speak with. They go far and beyond to make sure you get what you need! All the pharmacist are always so informative and have a smile on their face! I have got 2 flu shots from this location and didn't feel a thing! Highly recommend this pharmacy!

this place is straight out of communist Russia. the prices are ridiculously inflated and everything is locked up - deodorant, toothpaste, etc. and you need to find an employee to unlock the cabinets. the employees know that you need assistance, so they try to make themselves scarce. i waited for ten minutes trying to buy some toothpaste. it was INSANE!!!

This is another store I Like In The White Oak Shopping Center . This is called Walgreens . Outside has a huge private parking areas . Inside they have a good sized cashier and customer service desk . It has many good labelled and catagorized isles . It has everything from stationary, cosmetics , medical supplies , grocery type items such as sodas , dairy products , They have kids toys and apparel items , snack foods and magazine sections , home goods , to newspaper isles and much more . They have a huge Pharmacy too and a blood pressure test area for those that need help and medicine pick ups . I think they also carry adult apparel items such as T-Shirts , Knit Caps , Regular Caps , Scarves , and Gloves , and sandals . It has all that people can ever ask for and need there . They have E-mail sign ups online for info containing to what goes on each week for the sales and they have bonus rewards cards as well . I haven't been here in a long while but I did Love shopping there . I hope to go back sometime . The customer service there is attentive , Considerate , Hospitable , helpful , Knowledgable , Welcoming , Inviting , And Friendly . I promise you all this is a place that will not let you down . But sometime waiting at the cashier lines sometimes takes real patience to get through over there . They could use more cashier people to make things go smoother even though I understand others concerns . I know some on here do not have the same opinion as I do but we need to learn to give other places second chances to be better than they are . So drop on by the Walgreens in The White Oak Shopping Center and get an experience that you all will not soon forget . They look forward to seeing and doing business with you all very soon . Welcome To Silver Spring , Maryland's Walgreens And Enjoy Your Stay With Us here in The Historic Maryland Area And Happy Shopping Everyone !

Went to the pharmacy Friday Feb 22. Explained that I wanted to pay for my prescription cash, even though I have insurance. At pickup time was told by the pharmacist that I must use my insurance; it is "policy" because the medication is a controlled substance. This is a clear - clear ! violation of privacy; patient rights etc. I have used the med intermittently for many years and had it filled at Giant, Safeway, Rite Aid, etc, etc. and I think even at this Walgreens ; never before have I heard this nonsense. I should have just taken the prescription back rather than let them fill it "their way." There is a Giant next door, and a well-reviewed Little Acorn, privately owned, on the other side of Lockwood. Those would be better choices for getting your prescriptions filled.

This review is of the service received at the Walgreens to pick up an 18-bottle WineInsiders.com order (ordered online to pick up at a pickup point, here, so I didn't have to be home for delivery). Unfortunately, it took an unexpectedly long time. It should have been a quick photo ID check and handoff given no one else was in line, and the employee was immediately available to help us. Instead, it was a whole ordeal having to call the manager who never came, then a lot of head scratching and squinting at a computer screen and scanning the package and scanning more, only to tell us that we can't take the delivery until a manager confirms it. My ID matched the name on the package and the email I showed on my phone matched my name and the sender and the pickup location, but more verification was needed! This was more secure than TSA at the airport! The manager never came even though the employee said they would. Eventually the employee took a picture of the label and let us go with the package. I wouldn't pick up from this location again.

Horrible location. I just needed two items and they didn't have them...Didn't even see an employee to ask for help. One person was working at the register and there was a long line. Ahhhh, forget it!! Not coming back here :(

This place had inexperienced and poorly trained technicians when I went. They did not understand their own computer system. After I left, I instead went to the Rite Aid nearby in Colesville. Far far better. The pharmacy supervisor at Rite Aid, Tatyana, is smart, caring, helpful, and experienced. She knows what she is doing and has worked at this store for a long time. I'm only going there from now on.

If you want to wait 30 minutes just to drop off a prescription, this is your pharmacy. Only one employee working both drop offs and pick ups at 7:00pm. What was his manager thinking?!? And the solo employee was slow as dirt! Took 10 additional minutes to process a coupon!! And back to CVS I go...

This Walgreens is just your neighborhood pharmacy to me. Nothing special just a whole bunch of stuff you don't really need like stuffed animals as makeup. But hey someone my need it! I just use the pharmacy and unfortunately they don't have a drive through which would be epic! I may have gotten a little spoiled by my last Walgreens in Manassas where I use to live but it's gone now and it's way to far to drive to just for some random prescription!
